Performing day to day operation, maintenance, overhauling, installation, testing and

commissioning activities of diesel/gas generator, Solar, 33/11 KV sub-station, steam boiler &
thermo oil boiler (Coal, Rice husk, Gas, diesel & CNG fuel), air compressor, WTP, AC, cooling
tower, cooling pump, submersible water pumps, deep tube well and HT/LT line switch gear
(operation) as per our SOP.
2. Monitoring, supervising and maintaining all the utility machineries, workshop, substation and
electrical panel board (LT, HT, PFI, MDB, SDB, DB panel) according to compliance.
3. Planning, scheduling, supervising and executing of gas & diesel generators, air compressors,
boilers, solar panels schedule maintenance work (including break down maintenance, prevent
maintenance, troubleshooting maintenance with full efficiency as per machine manual and
over all social compliance audit related task).
4. Estimating the materials demand and issuing purchase requisition.
5. Performing to handle multiple task/trouble shooting works of the above-mentioned machinery
and modern operational machines with minimum guidelines.
6. Ensuring to reduce the machine breaks down as less as possible by proper use of man,
machine, and spare parts. Analyzing root causes & downtime of breakdown and taking
decisions after discussing it with higher management to overcome it.
7. Observation, studding and preparing a draft on the issue/problem (Performance loss,
breakdown, quality faults, less efficiency in any specific machine/equipment/process).
8. Ensuring optimum utilization of energy (Power, Air, Gas, Steam, Heat, Water etc.) and
measure units of utilities produced, utilized and waste through monthly reporting.
9. Taking steps to reduce cost by development & adopt safety measures among all of
subordinates and manpower allocation of concerned section against assigned jobs and
properly monitoring to meet the goal.
10. Ensuring machines are installed and maintained as per safety standards (BNBC, NFPA, RSC
etc.) and Preparing SOP for maintenance of sub-station, thermal plant, machinery and utility
installation of the factory.
11. Responsible for facing different types of audits (energy, environmental, social) and understand
buyer (H&M, LEVI’s,TAKKO, etc) requirements.
12. Making single line diagram (SLD), Electrical layout diagram (ELD) (Substation & factory) &
Lightning protection system (LPS) by Auto-CAD and other software.
13. Planning, coordinating & implementing all MEP works as per the approved drawing and
schedule also monitoring third-party/ EPC activities & workforce on ongoing projects.
14. Maintaining activity logbook, checklist, reports, maintenance records, documentation, and
presenting reports related to all utility engineering activities (includes preparing technical
reports, updating equipment databases and ensuring compliance with required
 certification).Performing & following on Fire Safety, Electric Safety, Mechanical Safety, and
Structural Safety & Environmental Safety related issues.

15. Documentation and Reporting: Mechanical engineers are typically responsible for maintaining
accurate documentation related to equipment specifications, maintenance records,
modifications, and troubleshooting procedures. They may also prepare reports on equipment
performance, maintenance activities, and improvement initiatives.

equipment, and manufacturing processes comply with relevant safety regulations and
standards. They may conduct risk assessments, implement safety measures, and provide
training to staff on safe operation and maintenance practices.
