and Communication Engineering,
Indian Institute of Technology(IIT),
Guwahati India Second year of Four
year program * Current CPI/GPA
8.08/10.0 Senior Secondary
Examination(Rajasthan Board of
Secondary Education)-2004 Central

PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN
* Adaptive Error Cancellation for Low Power
Digital Filtering: Our project presents a low
power digital filtering technique derived
via algorithm noise tolerance (ANT).The
project technique achieves substantial
energy savings via voltage overscaling
(VOS). The resulting performance
degradation is compensated for via an
adaptive error cancellation (AEC)
algorithm. Guide- Dr. A Mitra, Assistant
Professor, Department of Electronics and
Communication Engineering, IIT
Guwahati. Status: In Progress. * Human
controlled Submarine: Project aims at
developing a submarine that can be
controlled and steered by human even
from outside water body. Submarine was
equipped with cameras that can work in
water which makes it highly usable for
research works in marine sciences. Guide-
Dr. A.K.Gogoi, Professor, Department of
Electronics and Communication
Engineering, IIT Guwahati. Status:
Completed and model working fine. *
Robot as a “Maze Solver”: It is semi
autonomous robot designed to solve a maze
consisting of path and hurdles. Robot is
controlled by the circuit which has input
from Computer which is guided by a
MATLAB Programme. This was designed
to participate in Techniche–2006 (National
Techno-Management Festival of IIT
Guwahati) * Automatic Gain Control Using
JFET: The variations in the output voltage
are nullified by varying the gain
accordingly .Variation in gain is
accomplished by variation in the JFET
source to drain resistance. Guide: Dr.
R.Bhattacharjee Asst. Professor ,ECE
Dept, IIT Guwahati Status: Completed

* Programmable Gain Amplifier : The

circuit is programmable with four
digital input and correspondingly four
different gains . A level shifter is used to
accomplish the conversion of digital to
TTL compatible signal. Guide: Dr.
R.Bhattacharjee Asst. Professor ECE
Dept, IIT Guwahati Status: Completed
* BCD number display system and
frequency counter: The circuit counts
the number of cycles per second of the
input wave and displays the value on
the BCD number display system using
multiplexers and common anode LED
display. Guide: Dr. S.R.M Prasanna,
Asst Professor , Department of
Electronics & Communication, IIT
Guwahati Status: Completed *
Creating a Text Editor: Developed a Text
Editing Software with built - in spell
checking and suggestion generation
tools. Guide: Dr.P.K.Das , Asst
Professor, Department of Computer
Science &Engineering, IIT Guwahati
Status: Completed
