Objectives

1. Foster meaningful relationships with community leaders, opinion influencers, media representatives,
and leaders of non-government organizations who are instrumental in furthering our priesthood
objectives.
2. Enhance awareness of the Church's unwavering support for families and its commitment to upholding
cherished family values.
3. Elevate the Church's standing within the community by actively engaging in valuable service initiative
4. Align our activities with the Philippines Area Plan

Guidelines for Priesthood Leaders and Communication Councils

1. Communication representatives, under the Stake or District President's direction, represent the Church
in coordinating with the LGU Family Week Committee.
2. Inform priesthood leaders about plans discussed with the LGU Family Week Committee.
3. If needed, create a Stake/District Family Week Committee led by the communication director, adding
more members as needed.
4. Communication representatives shouldn't promise things on behalf of the Church without consulting
priesthood leaders.
5. Pick activities aligned with Church teachings.
6. Connect with family advocates on the committee.
7. Funds for National Family Week come from the Stake/District Local Unit Budget Allowance (LUBA).
8. Avoid committing to cover expenses for LGU Family Week activities, as LGUs already have a budget for
costs like seminars, snacks, and materials. The Church can offer valuable resources like guest speakers
and organizers.
9. When printing invitations, streamers, and banners, always place the name of the stake or district above
the Church's name. Avoid using the official Church logo or wordmark. Use simple language without
unnecessary jargon.
10. Encourage members to use hashtags #NationalFamilyWeek2023 and #FamiliesAreForever for social
media posts. Share content like family quotes, home evening photos, dinner moments, The Family: A
Proclamation to the World, family trees, reunions, and pictures promoting family unity and love. We'll
gather these tagged materials and share on the Church's Facebook page, urging members to use social
media to emphasize the importance of families.
