Once you achieve the rank of an [E-7] Gunnery Sergeant, you will no longer be able
to attend drills in order to rank up
Once you are an [E-6] Staff Sergeant, you must apply to the Marine Corps Officer
Candidate Selection Program You can find the application in
#applications. This must be done to achieve the rank of [E-7] Gunnery Sergeant.
[E-2] Private First Class to [E-6] Staff Sergeant are ranks achieved Physical
Drills, Disciplinary Drills, Formation Drills, Patrols and Classrooms.
[E-7] Gunnery Sergeant to [O-4] Major are achieved by going through the Marine
Corps Officer Candidate Selection Program
[O-7] Brigadier General to [O-9] Lieutenant General are achieved through the
decision of High Command.
There is a channel named #divisional-tryouts in the USMC Server. Daily tryouts for
Divisions within the U.S.M.C. are hosted there.
Occasionally, Divisions will have applications that you may fill out in order to
join a division in the #applications channel.
