Fire-rated doors are an essential component in ensuring the safety of hotel guests in case of a fire. Our
company constructs such doors using solid wood particle board (39 s3k) that is layered with 2 layers of fire-
rated Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) with a thickness of 6mm each and 2 layers of veneer, which is 1.4mm
thick. These materials are combined to create a durable and fire-resistant door that can withstand fire and
smoke.
To provide the necessary security, stability, and fire resistance, our fire-rated doors are fitted with Salto LE8P
locks for security, Simoswerk Tectus hinges for stability, a fire-rated rubber gasket by Devanter, and a fire-
rated expanding gasket. These components work together to provide a fire resistance of 30 minutes, thus
preventing the spread of fire and smoke throughout the hotel. Furthermore, the doors are soundproofed with a
rating of 42dB, ensuring that guests can enjoy a peaceful and comfortable stay.
As a company that specializes in equipping hotels, restaurants, offices, and residential homes with doors, we
work on a diverse range of projects. Every project we undertake is unique, with different types of buildings,
walls, and requirements for our products. We install doors with various fittings, depending on the specific
demands of the designer and investor. We encounter different types of walls on each site, such as those made
of concrete (on both sides) and concrete-Knauf combinations.
We also use different finishes for our doors. Technical drawings may indicate veneer finishes, but we also work
with High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) panels from suppliers such as Egger and Fundermax, which are 1 mm
thick. Depending on the client's and architect's preferences, we use various fittings, and our suppliers can
provide certificates that guarantee fire and smoke resistance, as well as durability, for each new fitting we use
in our doors.
