1. Best 5 out of 8 evaluations (E1, E2, E3, E4,E5,E6,E7,E8) will be considered for grading.
2. No make-ups are conducted for lab classes.
3. Total marks = 20 × 5 = 100 marks
4. Total marks scored (MT) out of 100 will be scaled to lab weight of 35% (70 marks) as:
Lab marks = MT × 70/100.

❖ Evaluative Session Plan:

✓ 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM or 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM – Start AUTOCAD LT on your system and define
drawing limits, units, layers and title block. Create a folder on the Desktop with BITS_ID_First
name.
✓ 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM or 3:15 PM to 3:45 PM – Attempt the evaluative problem. Save your file at
regular intervals.
✓ 1:45 PM or 3:45 PM – Save your file and one screenshot of each problem and turn off your
computer screen. Your file will not be evaluated if you continue working beyond the allotted time.
✓ 1:45 PM to 2:30 PM or 3:45 PM to 4:30 PM: Instructors will come to you to evaluate the solution.
✓ 2:30 PM to 2:50 PM or 4:30 PM to 4:50 PM: The instructor will discuss the solutions to evaluative
problems
✓ All the students must remain seated until the evaluation of all the students is completed during an
evaluative session.
