As the newly elected President of the Philippines, I, Rhoderisa Karylle Lano,

addressing all citizens of this country today. I owe you a huge debt of appreciation
for your complete trust in me. The confidence in my ability to govern and
represent this country has humbled me. I'd like to express my gratitude to the
other candidates who ran for office as well. I am hopeful that we will be able to
implement a great system at this new beginning. I pledge to work hard, listen to
your views, and do everything possible to serve this country.

I'm not only here for the position; I'm here as well to seize the opportunity
to promote justice thru good governance, cooperation, and solidarity. And as the
new president, I would be transparent and honest with you about the challenges
the country faces. I will do my best to communicate with the people at all times
possible. I will be asking your open arms to help me accomplish my visions. I
promise to take into account each of your interests and voices on the many issues
that we will be facing in my time. Now that you have chosen me as your
president, I am ready to deliver all the promises I made to you.
