Presidential Scholarships support UH System community college rising juniors with a record of outstanding academic achievement.
Presidential Scholars receive a full tuition waiver for two years of undergraduate study, $4,000 a year and a one-time travel grant
of $2,000.

I hereby give permission to the University of Hawaiʻi - West Oʻahu’s Office of Admissions to release a copy of my application, letters of
recommendation, and personal statement to the scholarship committee.

I certify that the information submitted in this application is complete and correct to the best of my knowledge. I understand that any
misrepresentation, falsification, or failure to supply required information in connection with this application may result in the rejection of my
application. I agree to notify the Office of Admissions of any additional information or changes that arise during the application process.

By submitting this application: In accordance with Section 438 of the General Education Provision Act (Title IV, P.L. 90-247, as amended), I
waive my right to access confidential letters and documents now held and hereafter submitted on my behalf to the UH West O’ahu Office of
Admissions and Scholarship Selection Committee. I give permission for the Scholarship Committee to have access to information about my
financial aid status. If awarded a scholarship, I authorize the University to release information to the scholarship sponsor from my application, as
well as updates about my academic progress and grades. I also agree to allow my name and/or photograph to be used in public information
about the program and to be released by the University of Hawaiʻi.
