1. LOOP FOR A NEW MOTOR
The following pages will show the steps which are necessary to bring the motor
template in a runtime picture. It is an example for CW (Chip Washing) in the
FiberLine.

Motor: Dewatering Screw - MCC


Loop Nr.: ME2110
Instance name: CW0015
Controller: CP001
Task: CW_111

1.1 Description
Start the CAE Manager and open the project.

Open the archive CFC_TEMPLATES.

Select the motor template and copy it (right mouse click).

Open the archive FiberLine, select the archive CW (Chip Washing) with the right
mouse button and copy the motor template in the archive.

Select the new motor template with the right mouse button and click Rename.

Complete the New name and New description according the I/O-List an click OK.

Open the new template with double click.

This is the function chart of the motor template.

Select on the function chart with the right mouse button and click Properties.

Complete the Instance name with the short name of the plant component and the
next free instance number.
e. g. CW0015; CW… for Chip Washing

And select the Physical view [Task].

For example CW_111.

And click the button OK.

Select on the AAG_Motor M1 block with the right mouse button and click
Properties.

Complete the Name (Loop Nr. – Loop Description) and the LNR (Loopnumber).

Complete the InstBlock (blockinstance), same as the motorblock name.
Complete the InstPlan (planinstance), same as the instance name.

Should the Stop-button disable to select, set the input to “1”


Symbol: change the symbol in the template (0…motor, 1…pump, 2…fan)

Select HM constants: Complete the AlaPic (Instance of the process diagram).

Complete the Error3_LT, Error4_LT, Error5_LT if they are connected (e.g. I/O-
Fault). (If the input Fault_3 connected, a text which describes the Alarm should be
enter at Error3_LT.)

Click OK to confirm the changed parameters.

2. CONNECTION OF THE MOTOR TEMPLATE


Following contacts must be connected:

2.1 Motorblock

2.1.1 Connector

Input:
• Show_LNR … show loopnumber;
Connectorname for Woodyard and Chip Handling: SHOW_LNR_WY
Connectorname for Fiberline, Chemicals, Evaporation: SHOW_LNR

Output:
• FbkOn … feedback on;
Connectorname = Loopnumber of the motor_outputname of the motor
block: e.g. ME2110_FbkOn

• Fault … fault active;


Connectorname = Loopnumber of the motor_outputname of the motor
block: e.g. ME2110_Fault

2.1.2 Plant Constant

Input:
• AlarmGroup … Name for the Alarm Group;

2.1.3 Hardware I/O

Input:
• FbkOn … on response; feedback from motor
Hardware Input from the I/O-List
• Fault_1 … activate error; MCC fault
Hardware Input from the I/O-List

Output:
• OnCmd … off/on output;
Hardware Output from the I/O-List

2.2 Interlockblock
The interlock functions can be connected at 10 interlock signals.

2.2.1 Connector

Input:
• Language … change language;
Connectorname for Woodyard and Chip Handling: SYS010_Language_WY
Connectorname for Fiberline, Chemicals, Evaporation: SYS010_Language
• Mode01 … Interlock Mode (0 … 4);
0 … Interlock deactivate;
1 … Absolute (Valid in Manual and Auto mode);
2 … Limited (Valid in Auto mode);
3 … Absolute Start (Valid in Manual and Auto mode for motor start);
4 … Limited Start (Valid in Auto mode for motor start);
• Interlock01 … Interlock 01 activate;

Input:
• ILName01_1 … Interlock Name 01, Text for Language 1;
• ILName01_2 … Interlock Name 01, Text for Language 2;

3. PLACE THE TEMPLATE


Open the archive CW in the archive FiberLine.

Open the CHIP WASHING Process diagram with double click.

Change from Project to Picture blocks.

Open in the Picture block the archive CW (Chip Washing).

Search for the Dewatering Screw – MCC.

Select the picture block MOT1 (AAG_Motor_1).

This drawing shows the symbols of the different picture blocks.

And drop it on the correct place in the picture.
