Scene 3
Macbeth:
Is everyone ready? We may be attacked anytime…guards beware all time! [Guards nod]

Scene 4: [At the woods Malcolm meets Lord Rone]

Lord Rone:
Ah Malcolm! Welcome! All the soldiers are ready and it’s time to show the real us. I was thinking of
cutting the boughs of tree and put it in front of ourselves so that Macbeth doesn’t get to know how
much we are :)
Malcolm:
Very great sir! Totally agree now let’s move!
[Everyone marches towards Macbeth’s castle wearing trees]

Scene 5 [Macbeth’s castle]

Servant:
We are in danger dear lord! More than 10 000 soldiers of Malcolm are marching towards us, and the
woods are reported to be moving!
Macbeth:
No that means- No I have to e strong give me my Armor I will fight too like bears as none born from
woman can harm me.
[Arrives near the castle doors and is attacked by Malcolm]
Malcolm:
Long time no see! Ah well turn hell round!
Macbeth:
Do you think I would play like a fool and suicide? I bear a charmed life, and none can take that away
from me.
Malcolm:
Despair the charm and let’s live off each other in this battlefield.
[the duel begins]
[macbeth kills Malcom]
Witch 1:
The brave Macbeth has done it again, All hail the supreme.
Witch 2:
ALL HAIL THE SUPREME
Witch 3:
ALL HAIL THE SUPREME
Macbeth
Yet another despair, laying on the bloody earth believing to ruin the Supremes’ charm.
Macbeth servant:
My Lord, though there is no denying your magnificence, the threat still there. Thirty thousand FIRs
have been filed around the city, some of which have incontrovertible evidence. You are now accused
of killing the monarch, and you must go in court to defend your innocence.
Macbeth
not these duplicitous creatures again, donning the cloak of justice, believing they of all have the
might to prevail justice. However, I still need a defender there, so locate one for your lord.
Scene 6 (court scene)
[before entering court]
Macbeth servant:
I have found you the greatest attorney in this city, my lord, and he will make sure you leave the court
victorious.
Macbeth
. as you ought to have, my obedient and devout servant.
[witches enter]
Witch 1:
It is the day when the power will go out. even if it means killing someone, save yourself. our presence
will be there but will be unseen to the innocent's eyes.
[lady Macbeth enters]
Lady Macbeth:
my poor, poor spouse! Despite your unfortunate situation, do not be afraid; you will retake your
kingdom.
Macbeth
Oh! My dearest partner of greatness, you are the only source of comfort for me in these hard times.
Lady Macbeth:
Its time for the hearing. Enter in there and redeem yourself.
Scene 7 ;
[Macbeth and lady Macbeth enters the court]
Macbeth servant:
My lord there is your attorney with a black coat and round glasses.
Macbeth
She’s a woman, I told you to find an attorney not a weak woman, you knotty pated fool.
Macbeth servant:
My lord don’t judge thy nature by her looks. She might look like th’innocent flower, but is a serpent
under’t.
Macbeth
Well, if you say so, but don’t forget her one mistake will lead to your demise.
Macbeth servant:
If this is what my lord demands then I’ll accept this fatal faith of mine.
[the judge enters]
“ALL RISE IN THE HONOUR OF THE JUDGE”
[Everyone roses]
Judge:
You may be seated.
[everyone sits down]
Judge:
Respectable jury, this hearing is held to address the claims made on Mr. Macbeth on the murder of
The Scotland’s king Duncan. Mr. Macbeth you have allegedly killed the Scotland’s king, in this
hearing you’ll either be proven guilty or innocent.
Prosecutor
Honorable court, I would refer to this case as not only a murder of humanity but, also a murder of
morals and virtues, as well as a murder of a monarch. Everyone in Duncan's kingdom admired and
revered him since he was one of the most moral people they knew. He also admired Macbeth, another
of his soldiers, but Macbeth chose to repay his compassion by ruthlessly murdering him. Macbeth is a
bloodthirsty guy with avaricious ambition.
Macbeth lawyer
Objection! My honor, this prosecutor is slandering my client without any hardcore evidence.
Judge:
Objection sustained.
Prosecutor
So, you want concrete proof? I'll provide it. [takes the bloodied daggers out] These knives, your
honour, were discovered at the crime site. Medical tests have revealed that the blood on these daggers
is of Duncan, and DNA testing have also revealed the presence of fingerprints, which, as you would
have guessed, belonged to Macbeth.
Judge:
Attorney do you want to say something in defense.
Macbeth lawyer
I plead silence my honor.
Judge:
Prosecutor you may continue now.
Prosecutor
What else is there to say, your honor. She demanded "hardcore proof," and when she obtained it, she
was left with little choice but to enter a silent plea. Or perhaps she felt that thus much proof was
insufficient. In order to allay her concerns, my lord, many witnesses, including his own wife Lady
Macbeth, are willing to testify against Macbeth.
[Macbeth was angry but wasn’t shocked, he decided to stand up and yell until his lawyer sat him
down]
Macbeth lawyer
This is not a place where yelling and showing your dominance would work, here tactics work more
than power. So, if you want to win then listen to me.
[Macbeth receives a document from the attorney. While her scheme was absurd, Macbeth saw that it
was the only means by which he could avoid being found guilty.]
Prosecutor
My honor I would request you to allow lady Macbeth to testify against Macbeth.
Judge:
Permission granted.
[lady Macbeth enters the witness stand and takes her oath]
Lady Macbeth
"I do solemnly, sincerely and truly declare and affirm that the evidence I shall give shall be the truth
the whole truth and nothing but the truth."
Prosecutor:
Very well lady Macbeth so I want you to tell us what kind of man is Macbeth.
Lady Macbeth
Macbeth has always been goal oriented and ambitious, he would do anything to achieve his goal.
He has always been a violent man; he would often yell at me and always I had no other option other
than to remain silent. To me it isn’t a shocker that he killed the eternal monarch.
[Macbeth couldn’t hold it any longer, he stood from his chair and yelled]
Macbeth
STOP! you petty liar I was never violent towards you. It was you who always made me feel less of a
man and forced me to kill the king because you wanted to be the queen.
Judge
Mr. Macbeth, maintain the decorum of the court if you want to speak something you must stand in
witness stand to testify
[Macbeth lawyer calmed him and told him to sit down]
Macbeth lawyer
My honor I apologize on my client’s behalf.
Judge
Apology accepted. Attorney would you like cross examine lady Macbeth.
Macbeth lawyer
Yes, my honor.
[ lawyer stands up walk toward LM to cross examine her]
So, Mrs. Macbeth according to your statement, you were the innocent one in your relationship
Macbeth was the violent one in your relationship. You also claim that you have no connection to
Macbeth’s current state.
Lady Macbeth
Yes, and I also claim that Macbeth always been arrogant when someone reveals the harsh truth about
him.
Macbeth lawyer
Very well. My honor Mrs. Macbeth here claims that she has always been an innocent cow in there
relationship while Macbeth was the dominating and manipulative one. Jury, I want to ask you, how
someone who didn’t even look her in the eyes this whole hearing could ever be the violent one.
Absolute fear of his wife could be seen from his eyes. The truth is that Macbeth was never the
manipulative one, instead he was the one who was manipulated the whole time. His wife tormented
him and drove him towards insanity. She never left a chance to question Macbeths masculinity and
forcing him towards the evil. All to fulfill her ambition of becoming a queen.
Judge
Attorney do you have proof to support your statement.
Macbeth lawyer
I actually do my honor. Upon inspection of Macbeth’s and his wife’s house, Macbeth’s personal diary
was found in the fireplace. Although, some pages of this diary are burnt but the leftover pages are
enough to prove Macbeth’s innocence. On the third page when Macbeth describes what his wife told
him “When you durst do it, then you were a man; And to be more than what you were, you
would Be so much more the man” is evident enough to picture her manipulative behavior. My honor
my client was so mentally tortured so badly that he has now lost all sense of rationality and has
entered the phase of insanity.
[Lady Macbeth was unable to conceal herself any longer as the situation began to shift. She shrieked
as a result, shattering her façade of innocence.]
Lady Macbeth
. Stop thou witch! If thy face hadn’t resembled thine's mother, i would have slashed your throat right
here and this place would become the new Golgotha.
Judge
Mrs. Macbeth maintain the decorum of the court.
Macbeth lawyer
NOW the court finally saw the true personality of this woman, the evilness hidden behind the façade
of innocence.
Judge
Prosecutor do you want to say something?
Prosecutor
My honor I believe Macbeth should also have a say in this.
Macbeth lawyer
My honor If an insane person would know he’s insane and would be in a condition to address
their grief wouldn’t that make life so easy.
Judge
Attorney we respect your emotion but we have to follow court’s protocol and according to it
Macbeth has to testify.
[attorney nods and Macbeth enters the witness stand]
Prosecutor
So, Mr. Macbeth is what you wrote in your diary was the truth do you claim the lady Macbeth
was the one who manipulated into killing Duncan ! is it true you weren’t in your right mind
while killing Duncan! Answer Mr. Macbeth, ANSWER.
[as the questions start raining on Macbeth, his vision started to blur out, his anxiousness rose,
and he started to pick the skin on his hand that’s when his lawyer stood up]
Macbeth lawyer
Objection! My honor, argumentative.
Judge
Objection overruled.
[Macbeth condition gets worse, now he is at the point of hallucinations. He starts to see Duncan
in front of his eyes, he starts to tremble]
Macbeth
Why is this man alive! How could he be alive, I killed him, I killed Duncan he can’t be. What type of
nightmare is this.
[he starts to scream]
Aahhh he can’t be real. Save me, somebody he will kill me, he is holding those daggers save me
someone.
[as the tension rose anxiousness also rose. It was only a moment of time in which he took out a gun
from his right pocket and shoot his own wife. In a blink of an eye, lady Macbeth was dead]
[Security personnel kept control of Macbeth as paramedics transported Lady Macbeth to the hospital.
He was getting uncontrollable due to which he was given anesthetic injections because of his
irrational behavior.]
Prosecutor
My honor today the court is the witness of Macbeth’s ruthlessness. he violated court principles and
brought a gun in the court and killed someone with it.
Macbeth lawyer
My honor this incident didn’t depicted his ruthlessness but instead this depicted his vulnerability, and
his intention wasn’t to shoot his wife but to shoot the person whom nobody could see and the one who
was was trying to kill him. and as for the gun in the court the last person he met before the hearing
was his own wife before which he was checked by security. My honor Macbeth isn’t in his right state
of mind and I request you to provide him proper treatment.
Judge
The jury chooses to provide Macbeth a good mental health treatment after taking into account
his circumstances, but after taking into account his wife's predicament, they also decide to give
her half of his wealth as a sort of recompense.
The court now dismisses.
[after the hearing Macbeth is now in a mental asylum]
[2 YEARS LATER]
[ macbeth has finally recovered and can finally leave now]
[ upon leaving he is accompanied by his lawyer]
Macbeth lawyer
Sir how was your time there?
Macbeth
It was like I was in hell but I wasn’t getting punished.
Macbeth lawyer
I assume it was better than being in jail for lifetime.
Macbeth
Leave the extra talk and tell me what that pated betrayer is doing
Macbeth lawyer
She’s in coma but there is a slight problem court decided to give her half of your wealth to
compensate for what you did.
Macbeth
What do you think I should do now.
Macbeth lawyer
I would say finish the deed which was left uncomplete.
[slides a gun in his hand]
Macbeth
You are not as innocent as I thought you would be.
Macbeth lawyer
I know its not my first time hearing it. You should probably go now the clock is ticking.
[ macbeth leaves with a smirk on his face]
Macbeth
I guess my charmed luck is as immortal as me.
