Impact
Excavation and trimming activities will causes expose soil
surface. In occurance of rain will caused sedimentation run off
to any near by water body or permenant drainage system

Unproper handling of the cement grout waste will wash out into
nearby water body or drainage system and cause contaminated
to existing river and also a serious thread to river biological life
as the contain are high in alkaline.

Concrete waste may contribute to water pollution and may

cause serious thread to river biological life as the contain are
high in alkaline and very corrosive.
Mitigation Measure
Temporary Best Management Practice shall be implement prior work start at
the area such as silt curtain along waterbody or any permenant drainage. Any
soil removal shall be remove from area and to pile at designated area which is
far from water body.

Silt curtain and sand bag to be install along the river bank and drainage system
prior to work. After work done, all grouting waste at work site shall be remove
daily to prevent any wash out to river or drainage system.

to work to prevent any spread if any leakage of wet concrete to water course.
Washing out and cleaning of the concrete should be carry out in a contain area
far from any water way or water course as practical. After work done, all
concrete waste on site shall be remove daily to prevent any wash out to river or
drainage system.
