and Adhai Dinka Jhopara (Ajmer). He also laid the foundation of the Qutb
Minar, which was completed by his successor Iltutmish. He was known as
Lakh Baksh for his generosity.

entire dynasties ruled around three hundred years. The capitals of

142. B Veteran Kuchipudi dancer Shobha Naidu from Andhra Pradesh has
recently passed away at the age of 64, in Hyderabad.
The renowned dancer was awarded the civilian honour of Padma Shri by
the Government of India in 2001 and the Sangeet Natak Akademi award in
1991. She also served as the Principal for Kuchipudi Art Academy,
Hyderabad.

146. B Chief Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose inaugurated the digital platform
named LokpalOnline, which enables people to file corruption complaints
with the Lokpal.
At present, complaints are being sent by post, e-mail or hand-delivered.
The new portal can be accessed by the citizens of the country and
complaints can be filed from anywhere, anytime at lokpalonline.gov.in. In
2019, Justice Ghose was appointed as the country’s first Lokpal.
147. A India successfully test-fired the air version of the BrahMos supersonic
cruise missile from the integrated test range of Chandipur, off the coast of
Odisha.
The air version of the missile was test-fired from supersonic fighter aircraft
Sukhoi 30 MK-I. As per DRDO, the launch has cleared the way for serial
production of air-version BrahMos missiles.

‘HAECHI-II’, enforcement agencies in more than 20 countries have
arrested over 1,000 individuals and seized about $27 million of illicit funds.
The programme is a part of a crackdown on cyber-enabled financial crime.
India also participated in the global operation. The exercise targeted
specific types of online fraud, such as romance scams, investment fraud
and money laundering linked to illegal online gambling.

150. B Defence Minister Rajnath Singh laid the foundation of BrahMos Aerospace
cruise missile manufacturing unit in Lucknow.
BrahMos is a joint venture between the Defence Research and
Development Organisation (DRDO) of India and NPOM, Russia to develop
next-generation supersonic missiles for the Indian forces. The name was
derived from Brahmaputra and Moskva rivers of India and Russia
respectively.
