Quiz/Assignment #
2. Illegal mining
1. Discuss the main issue about illegal mining
-Illegal mining has been blamed for a variety of environmental problems,
including water pollution, deforestation, poor soil fertility, and limited access to
land for agricultural production. The improper disposal of chemicals used in
illegal mining causes water pollution, which is a problem we face, as well as
deforestation, as we can see when we search a mining site and see that every
single tree has been removed, and the result of this activity during the rainy
season is flash flooding, which can affect us. And this contaminated water has a
negative influence on agricultural and food production because farmers rely on
their plants to produce a decent yield.
3.Conclusion
-This illegal activity are operate by large group of people that have a contact to some
government officials because even they are no permit to operate their illegal activity
still they can continue their illegal activity
3. Illegal fishing
1. Discuss the main issue about illegal fishing
-The main issue about illegal fishing the individuals who do this activity catching
fish even small so the result of this activity many fish cannot lay egg and can’t
reproduce it can cause of exhaustion of the source of fish .Despite the fact that
illegal fishing is prohibited in our country like dynamite there are still individuals
who engage in this kind of practice, which has long been a cause of income of
some individuals in our country. Due to dynamite fishing explosions marine life
is wounded or killed, destroying coral reefs that home for many fish, killing fish
even the small ones, as well as injuring or killing other species. The fact that we
have always assumed that this illegal action has been stopped, or at the very least
considerably reduced, has never stopped us from thinking about the ramifications
of this practice's consequences. However, it is still being practiced in every part
of the country.
-My recommendation to solve this issue are to straighten the patrol of law
enforcers or marine agencies to our exclusive economic zone to prevent this
illegal activities and to protect our resources from exhaustion and destroying the
coral reefs that important for marine life to reproduce.
4. Air pollution
1. Discuss the main issue about air pollution
-The primary problem with air pollution is that it has a negative impact on our
health and can make a large number of people sick. The waste came from
industry and building heating systems are all big sources of pollution. The
presence of smoke is a key component of pollution. Combustion products such as
biomass, factories, automobiles, and furnaces emit a variety of smoke. Hazardous
chemicals are generated when waste is disposed of in landfills. Some gases and
chemicals react to generate hazardous vapors that are damaging to humans and
other living things. Moreover, in low- and middle-income countries like our
country, the majority of fuels are burned inefficiently in stoves or open fire places
to cook food, resulting in a variety of harmful pollutants. These fuels include
dung, coal, and wood.
2. Formulate a plan, solution, and strategies for combating this activity
-Clean energy sources such as solar, wind, and geothermal are becoming more
prevalent. Governments must provide financial aid to consumers who want to
install solar panels on their homes to help reduce pollution in the atmosphere.
Make Use Of Devices In comparison to incandescent bulbs, compact fluorescent
lights use less energy. People, industries, and governments all over the world are
need to unite making various attempts to limit the pace of increase in air pollution
and restore the proportions of the foundation gases, so using less energy benefits
to the environment. Slowing climate change has never been so obvious as it is
with this project. There is a frenzy of new research and experiments being
conducted in an effort to discover new methods of reducing pollution. Air
pollution is a key sign of human error, and it must be addressed if we are to have
a better future.
3. Conclusion
-The cause of the air pollution are because of man made activity we suffer from
this pollution that because of our own made, So if we want to have a fresh air be
responsible person and know the consequences if we do wrong things that have a
bad effect to our environment and all of this activity will came back to us.
4. Provide a recommendation on how to solve this issue
-My recommendation to solve this issue are to the factory’s avoid to made things
that have a contribute to air pollution and the government should provide
electricity to our country using clean energy sources such as solar, wind and
geothermal avoid using energy sources that have a bad effects to our environment
and save our planet.
5. Water pollution
1. Discuss the main issue about water pollution
-Water contamination is a significant problem in the water pollution. Many
enterprises dump trash into rivers, lakes, ponds, and streams in an attempt to
conceal the wastes from Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) investigators.
These water sources provide irrigation for key crops, and the food they produce
becomes contaminated with a variety of chemicals and germs, resulting in
widespread health concerns.
2. Formulate a plan, solution, and strategies for combating this activity
-Improving source control and scientific management approaches in different
drainage areas and regions would help reduce water pollution and safeguard the
environment while increasing water resource management. We will also maintain
government-market coordination, emphasize innovation, follow rules and
regulations, create the strictest environmental protection system, and construct an
accountability system. Parallel to this, we will promote public engagement in a
new water pollution control system led by the government, involving businesses,
the market, as well as the public.
3. Conclusion
-We must become aware with our local water resources and learn about
techniques for discarding toxic home wastes. In our yards, we must establish
whether more nutrients are needed before fertilizers are used. We have to
conserve existing trees and plant new trees and shrubs to assist minimize soil
erosion.
4. Provide a recommendation on how to solve this issue
-Understanding how contaminants enter water systems helps prevent
contamination from occurring in the first place. We need effective garbage
segregation. We can all assist prevent water pollution by using eco-friendly
detergents, not pouring oil down drains, limiting pesticides, etc. We can all help
keep our rivers and oceans healthier by participating in beach clean-ups and litter
pick-ups. And we can adopt laws as governments and continents to make
pollution harder and the world cleaner.
6. Wildlife trafficking
1. Discuss the main issue about wildlife trafficking
-The main problem about illegal trade in wildlife has the potential to devastate
species populations and, in some cases, even result in the extinction of entire
species. An endangered species' extinction is put at risk when it is poached or
harvested for use in the illegal wildlife trade market. Furthermore, the animals
that are trafficked serve a crucial part in preserving the natural balance of the
ecosystem, but the mistreatment that they are subjected to by unlawful traffickers
puts the lives of many of these animals in danger.
2. Formulate a plan, solution, and strategies for combating this activity
-It is necessary for citizens of our country to work together in order to prevent
this type of illegal activity from occurring. Don't destroy the habitats of
endangered animal species, don't capture wildlife animals or any other illegally
captured endangered animal, and if you become aware of any suspicious illegal
activity related to wildlife trafficking, don't hesitate to report it to any appropriate
agency that has jurisdiction over the issue of wildlife trafficking.
3. Conclusion
--There are still many people who cooperate with wild traffickers to capture
animals because the money is easy to come by, especially in indigenous
communities that lack education. They are unaware of the consequences to the
environment when of capturing animals , and the wild life traffickers choose
them because they have previous experience capturing wild animals and they
know how to survive in the forest .
4. Provide a recommendation on how to solve this issue
-- My recommendation to solve this problem we must take care of our
environment so that nature can take care of us. We must avoid buying from
people that sell endangered animals and make informed purchasing decisions.
Prevent the capture of endangered animals and the preserve of endangered
species in our plans, as well as animals or any other living things for the future.
