HOUSEHOLD INCOME AND EXPENDITURE ANALYSIS

I.INTRODUCTION

One of the most familiar words in economic is inflation due to increasing price of
commodities. A lot of family worries due to not having enough income. Most of the family
member have a minimum wage earner because of not having enough resources. Prices change
overtime for everything produced in economy because of the global demand.
We can mitigate the basic needs of the family by planting vegetables like
horseradish,okra,eggplant and many more. Minimizing the expenses by selling online to
lessen the burden.

II.OBJECTIVES

1.To discuss the expenses and income in our household

2.To determine the data gathered to assess the problem in our household
3.To apply knowledge gain insights to mitigate the inflation

III.RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

The study utilized the use of quantitative research. The study was conducted at Upper
San Mateo, Sitio Pinikitan,Aleosan North Cotabato. There are 2 respondents of the study.
(1)mother and (1) father.
The researchers collected the data gathered from the questions form and correspond
the result of using table and pie chart. The participant’s identities were kept confidential.

V.RESULTS & FINDINGS
HOUSEHOLD INCOME

For household income, the pie chart shows that more than a half of income belongs to my
father which is 66.7%, and to be followed by my mother of 33.3%.

HOUSEHOLD EXPENSES

For the household expenses, the pie chart shows the result that most of the expenses spent on
groceries of 45%,then 27% on the cement, followed by allowances,5% of water and lastly 4%
on the electric bill.
VI. CONCLUSION
In the table and pie chart I found out that 53% of the expenses comes from food.
And some of them just able to meet the basic needs due to arising the inflation in our country,
which is why budgeting is crucial.

VII. RECOMMENDATIONS
 Prioritize needs
 Create a budget
 Minimize the use of electric bill and water
 Encouraging student to earn degree in the future to have a better income

VIII. REFLECTION
My reflection towards the basic research our subject teacher to let us know that life is
not easy when it comes in income and expenses due to rising the inflation in our country right
now. To let us know and appreciate the sacrifices and effort of our parents to budget all of the
expenses in our household, to let us researchers to find ways to lessen and mitigate the
inflation in our country.
