PivotMinati’s Swing Setup

• The most important start to this write-up is the understanding of the “P.I.V.O.T.S” psychology which is briefly
explained in our webinar

• Step 1: Check the script in the list of weekly/ monthly reports which are sent across

• Step 2: Plot the price-zone as discussed in the (P) part of the PIVOTS psychology, which in turn will given an
idea of an initial resistance/ support zone as soon as we get an opening print fo the current week/ month

• Step 3: Now comes the Verification part and then along with the decision of entry points
PivotMinati’s Swing Setup
• Step 4: ENTRY
Here a few factors have to be kept in check for deciding the type of entry being taken:

Long Entry Short Entry

PWH (weekly auction) PWL (weekly auction)
ENTRY POINTS
PMH (monthly auction) PML (monthly auction)
Zone 1 breach (Red) Zone 1 breach (Green)

Long Entry Short Entry

Above signal PEMA (21 Below signal PEMA (21
VERIFY BEFORE ENTRY days) days)
RSI should be above 50 RSI should be below 50
Avoid if RSI is above 70 Avoid if RSI is below 30

Common and further important points to be kept in mind:
a) For an initial entry, price-zone which form after Step-1 can help in taking entries too.
• This above situation mostly occurs in market when broader indices are sideways
• Thus, if the stock has been hovering in an price-zone for a while then it is likely to be broken
depending on the zone is acting as a resistance or support
• Generally, PH – PC (act as resistance) and PL – PC (act as support)
• This depends on the initial opening print of the price as explained in the webinar

b) PEMA movement especially the low intensity PEMA should be prioritised as on the HTF (higher time frame)
of 30 Mins/ 1 Hour to have a less noise based trend identification done
c) IT IS A PROCESS of price structure which continues as we proceed to next week/ month and if your
parameters are still aligned to hold that trade then you can trial your positions as long as it following our
setup
d) RSI(14) is a magic indicator if you understand its working and this can help you even as a leading indicator

Pro-hint: Always consider the mid point (50) as a “LAKSHMAN REKHA” as above is BULLS are comfortable &
below is the BEARS

TRAILING – Once entry is done you can use the scaling methods for trailing your position(s) as discussed in the
webinar

(b) PEMA & RSI can always help in an additional verification

STOP LOSS – Nearest price level to signal MA (21 MA)

If entry is through price zone as discussed in ENTRY (B), then upper/ lower band can be an SL

Always consider SL on Closing Basis
