1. Comparative
- едносрично прилагателно +er that
older than/slower than/ newer than
- n/t/g – последните три букви са СГЛ – удвояваме последната буква
big – bigger than thin – thinner than fit – fitter than
- ако прилагателното завършва на e добавяме само r
– ако завършва на съгласна + у, у отпада и добавяме i:
heavy – heavier than happy – happier than

– многосрично прилагателно: more + прилагателно + than

more dangerous than/ more enjoyable than / more boring than

2. Superlative
- ендосрични + est
the oldest/ the slowest/ the biggest/ the happiest
- многосрична: the most + прилагателно
the most dangerous/ the most enjoyable

! Неправилни – учат се на изуст

good – better – the best
bad – worse – the worst
far – farther/further – the farthest/furthest
little – less – the least

3. as + прилагателно +as – казваме, че двете неща са еднакви

He is as tall as his dad. Той толкова висок колкото баща си.
Not as + прил. + аs
She isn't as smart as her sister.
4. Наречия – образуват по и най по същите правила като прилагателните
fast – faster, hard – harder,
more quickly than
Като има някои изключения:
well – better – the best
badly – worse – the worst
early – earlier – the earliest
far – farther – the farthest
5. as+ прилагателно + аs – две неща са еднакви(толкова - колкото)
He's as tall as his father.
6. not as+adjective+as
She doesn't drive as carefully as me.
