A. Subject: Construc on of Bus stop layby @ Road No-29 Near Plot No-15-006.

B. Scope of work
1. Removal and Disposal of exis ng interlocks and Curb stone for Bus layby as per the
proposed drawing.

2. Surface prepara on, Watering compac on and disposal of all debris in DM yard.

3. Supply and laying of RTA approved road base watering and compac on.

4. Supply and installa on of Curb stone for Bus layby.

5. Supply and installa on of Interlocks 8cm thickness for Bus layby.

6. Supply and Pain ng of Curb stone and Do ed Line in bus layby.

7. Supply and installa on of Bus Stop signage Board and No parking Wai ng Board
along with Pole as per the requirements.

8. Safety arrangements, Traffic diversion and Traffic managements.

9. Removal of all Debris, site cleaning and handing over side.

10. All Materials, Signage, Pole should be as per the RTA/DIEZ Standards.

11. Lab test for Surface compac on and Road’s base compac on to done as per the
requirements.

12. Site Survey, Design prepara on and Obtaining Design NOC from all authori es will be
under contractor Scope.

13. Construc on NOC will be under contractor scope.

C. General Notes

1. Construc on NOC: Coordina on & submission of required Documents & drawing for
obtaining construc on NOC for process Works on site.
2. Obtain relevant Authori es NOC’s and submit to DIEZ for perusal.
3. Traffic diversion signs with all the adequate warning signs to be placed at site prior
to commence construc on ac vi es.
4. Contractor shall be solely responsible for the accuracy of such se ng – out and
work execu on.
5. Protect all the exis ng infrastructure services especially underground services at
construc on area.
6. Shi all obstruct exis ng sign pole, board…etc., to appropriate loca on as per DIEZ
Engineer approval / guidance.
7. The workplace to be cleaned and dy from any construc on debris / materials.
8. The en re works quan ty will be cer fied in re – measurable basis upon comple on
of works.

9. Submit as – built Drawing with update in DIEZ master plan upon comple on of
construc on work.
10. Site Survey should be conducted prior submi ng the proposal.

D. Required documents

a. The below listed documents should be furnished along with the proposal:
1. Quota on to be provided with detailed BOQ.
2. A detailed work method statement.
3. Material Technical Data Sheet DCD Approved.
4. Inclusion and Exclusion of scope of works.
5. Warranty details for the workmanship.
6. Warranty details for the Materials.
7. Involved Machinery details,
8. Company Profile with list of completed projects.

b. The below listed document should be submi ed upon awarding the job,

1. Contractor All Risk Insurance Policy – policy should be covered with the total
value of subject work and including Third – party liability coverage.
2. Approved Drawing – Contractor’s scope to obtain DCD approval.
3. Material submi al – DIEZ approval is vital for all the materials.
4. Work schedule to be furnished,
5. All the required documents for DIEZ – PTW Issuance.
6. All the required documents for DIEZ – Night Work PTW (if required)
7. All the required NOCs from relevant Authori es
8. Risk Assessment Sheet.

C. The below listed document should be submi ed upon comple on of work.

3. Warranty Cer ficates / documents.
4. Job Comple on Report with all the relevant documents.

D. Note to the contractor

1. Site inspec on is impera ve prior to submit the Proposal.

2. Design and drawings subjected DIEZ acceptance and final approval, a ached drawings
for reference only.
3. Contractor must ensure all the safety measures prior to commence any ac vi es.
Basic PPE to be provided to all staff / laborers.
4. Contractor is responsible to obtain relevant Authori es NOC’s.
5. All the exis ng services surrounding the workplace to be protected prior to
commence the work.
6. Contractor is responsible for service con nuity for all the exis ng ac ve / live
networks.
7. Adequate safety sign to be provided surrounding the workplace.
8. Standard PTW’s to be obtained from DIEZ for all the site works, Road / Lane closure
and Night works ac vi es.
9. Regarding lane closure request, Contractor must submit separate PTW request with all
the required document (Route diversion drawing, scope of work…etc.)
10.An appropriate support to be provided for heavy machineries / equipment
movements.
11.Contractor’s liability to provide clear pedestrian access with op mum safety to
completed buildings during the execu on of works.
12. Construc on surplus materials, debris, and other waste to be cleared / removed from
the site within 7 days upon comple on of work.

13. Any exis ng damages within the project limit, should be no fied to DIEZ with proper
correspondence backup, site photos and evidence prior to commence the site
ac vi es
14. No parking shall be closed without prior approval from DIEZ / RTA.
15. DSO reserves the rights to stop / suspend the work if any viola on arising
emergency.
16. Contractor is responsible to comply with DIEZ regula on.

17. Work is permi ed to carry out within the approved plot / project area limit only.
18. Contractor is responsible for any damages to exis ng DIEZ proper es surrounding
their workplace. In this regard, an appropriate ac on will be taken as per DIEZ
Viola on norms.
19. Defect Liability period will be considered as One Year from the date of issuance of
work Comple on Report. During this period, contractor is liable to rec fy if any
defects occurred for the work carried out loca ons. In this regard, an amount of 10%
from the total contractual sum will be on hold as a reten on money for a period of
One Year.
