Holiday Homework

THE SUMMER READING CHALLENGE

Dear Parents,

It is that time of the year again when we give our children the gift of reading. This year for the summer,
we are back with an innovative reading challenge!

To complete the summer reading challenge, the students will have to find and read 8 books over the two
months that they are away. With each book they finish, they will maintain a simple review template. To
make this challenge interesting, the students will have to maintain a glossary of new vocabulary.

The students will maintain the glossary and book review templates in their notebooks which will be
submitted to the teacher of English by second week of September.

We are hoping that through this fun challenge, all our students will develop the love of reading and
share their stories with one another once they are back from the break!
