How to Fight Insecurity

Hello my friends, how are you?. I’m just here to tell a story.
And, giving you some tips how to fight insecurity. Before,
you can call me Aliyya. This story was based from my own
experience.
When I was still sitting in junior high school. I’m being
bullied. Not for anything, it’s because I was ugly back then.
Fat, short, and little black. No one wanted to be Friends with
me. Even, they always insulted me every time.
It made me a closed person. Besides that, I also felt less when
I saw beautiful people. Every day in school, I always felt
lonely. Until finally this bullying went on for 2 years. After a
while I got tired. I planned to change. But this insecurity still
surrounded me.
From there, maybe some of you can imagine how difficult it is
to build self-confidence. That’s really hard. But I have some
tips.
First, learn to love yourself. Indeed, this will definitely look
hard for people who are insecure. But by increasing gratitude,
you will find it easier to love yourself. Believe me!. Because
you have excess that no one else has.
Second, free yourself to do something that makes you happy.
Whatever it is, as long as it’s not a negative thing you can do
it.
And the last thing is stop comparing yourself. What you do is
not by comparing, but improving the quality of yourself.
Because actually when we see people we think are better then
us, we should use them as inspiration to change to be better
self too. Not to compare yourself.
By becoming a more grateful self, and also an open mind. I
can change to be a better person now. No more insecurity in
me. I managed to change in terms of appearance and
thingking.
Though, getting started is not an easy thing. But, keep trying.
Believe in God. Believe in yourself. I know you can do it…
Maybe that’s all I can tell you. Sorry if there is a wrong word.
Thank You and Cheers….
