Fight the Ultimate Fusion

by abstrash

Summary

This story is about Goku/Vegeta finding themselves falling for each other, and coming
together to battle against a formidable enemy.

This story takes place after the Moro arc but before the Granolah arc.

Notes

I've had this idea for a story in my head for months. Also took a lot of inspiration from a
few other stories as I've never written M/M relationships before. To any readers, I would
love feedback and I hope you enjoy!
Chapter 1
Chapter Summary

Goku finds himself struggling to focus on fighting - his mind more occupied on his
crush, and it seems that others have begun to notice.

CHAPTER 1

“That was the worst sparring session we have ever had,” Vegeta said, crossing his arms. “What’s
wrong with you, Kakarot? You’ve completely wasted my time here.”

Goku looked down, knowing his rival wasn’t exaggerating. For so many decades, Goku had been
regarded as the symbol of hope for Universe 7, but lately something had been amiss in his mind.
His thoughts were no longer consumed solely by the lust for battle; instead they were dominated
by a different kind of struggle.

“I’m sorry, Vegeta,” Goku responded, “After we’ve had some time to rest, I’m sure I’ll be back to
my regular self again.” He quickly hid his grimace with a forced smile while reaching out his hand
toward Vegeta.

Vegeta rolled his eyes and hesitantly touched the tip of his finger onto the larger Saiyan’s hand, not
wanting to have any more physical interaction than necessary. Goku’s eyes peered down at the
single finger resting on him and sighed before putting two fingers to his forehead and searching for
Gohan’s energy on Earth.

“Found him.” His eyes shifted to the celestial beings beside him, “Bye Whis! Bye Lord Beerus!”
He called out before teleporting Vegeta and himself back to Earth. Upon arrival, Goku and Vegeta
searched around to find that they were at Kami’s lookout. Gohan and Dende shook their heads,
trying to comprehend the sudden materialization of the two Saiyans standing before them.

“Dad!” Gohan called out, jumping to his feet, “It’s great to see you!”

“You too, son. I’m glad to be ba-” before Goku could finish his sentence, the sudden shift in
energy caught his attention. He turned his head to see Vegeta jumping off of the lookout and
launching himself into the sky to fly away. Not even a goodbye? He must be really angry at me this
time, Goku thought.

“Are you okay, Goku?” Dende asked, interrupting his train of thought.

“Ah, I’m sure my dad is just tired,” Gohan turned to Dende, “He was out training with Whis and
Lord Beerus for over three months. I bet they didn’t take a single rest day,” he grinned, now
turning to his father, “You go home, dad. We’ll catch up later after you’ve had some rest and a
good meal.”

Goku nodded, and with a single wave goodbye he shot up into the clouds headed for his home in
West City. As he entered his lonely apartment, he couldn't shake the faint pang of some unfamiliar
emotion that tugged at his stomach. He couldn't understand why, but a sense of sadness
accompanied his arrival back to Earth. Not because he was taking a rest from training, or because
his sparring against Vegeta didn't meet his expectations. He let out a sigh, trying to release the bad
thoughts ruminating in his mind.

He looked around at the mess in front of him, thinking about how he hadn’t cleaned his apartment
in months. Cleaning wasn’t exactly his forte, and since he and Chi-Chi had split up, he’s had a bit
of trouble adjusting. Their split was amicable, but he still couldn’t manage to convince her to come
over to help him cook or clean.

I’ll take care of it tomorrow, he thought as he plopped himself onto his bed. Lying down, he found
that he actually wasn't tired like Gohan had thought. He was exhausted, sure, but only because his
mind was so full. An overwhelming sense of loneliness washed over him as he realized that no one
was by his side.

I wonder if Vegeta is feeling lonely too. I already miss being with him. These thoughts replayed
endlessly in his head. They’d spent so much time together over the decades, but between the
Tournament of Power and defeating Moro, Goku had come to terms with his true feelings for
Vegeta. It was nothing like he’d felt with anyone else - not even Chi-Chi.

Goku shook his head to clear his thoughts. I can’t keep doing this to myself. That’s it - no more
thoughts of Vegeta. I’m completely over him.

A loud ringing caused Goku to jolt. What’s that? Someone’s calling me? He dug through his
pockets to search for his phone, his face tensing at the name flashing on his screen.

He’s… calling me? Hesitant, he answered, feeling a bit perplexed at this unexpected call, “Hello?”

“Kakarot?”

“H-hey Vegeta, what's up?”

Goku could hear Vegeta sigh before responding, “We need to talk.”

Goku’s stomach dropped and his face churned in terror. Oh no. He’s figured it out. “Why? Is
something wrong?”

“Do you think I’d call you just to gossip? Obviously something is wrong, you idiot.”

Goku responded in a shaky voice, “Okay, sure… maybe I-I should go over there so we can-”

“Don’t be stupid, Kakarot. You’re not coming over here.”

That felt like a punch in the gut to Goku, but he didn’t let it show. “Fine. Then tell me what's
wrong.” His body began to stiffen, feeling all the color leave his face. What if he knows! He must
have figured it out. He's gonna kill me. He held his breath.

"Your fighting has gotten utterly atrocious, Kakarot."

Goku felt like he was gonna choke, but forced himself to respond, "Hmmm... I don't think so...” his
voice cracked.

Vegeta grunted, "Oh, come on, you idiot. You know exactly what I'm talking about. I demand to
know right now what’s causing you to fight so poorly. You’re completely unfocused. I mean, your
own son, the one with his nose in the books all the time, could beat you in your current state."
Goku blinked, and realized Vegeta was right. "I don’t know what’s going on with you, but next
week when you and I return to Beerus's planet I expect you to work out whatever it is that’s going
on so you can fight me like a true Saiyan warrior."

Goku sighed, "I will, Vegeta."

"What's causing you to be so preoccupied, anyway? It’s not Chi-Chi again, is it? I thought you
were long past that woman."

Goku chuckled nervously, "No, definitely not Chi-Chi."

Vegeta paused for what seemed like an eternity, then released a breath. “Is… is there something
you need help with? Something I can… do to help?”

Eyes growing wide and lips parting, Goku couldn’t believe what he’d just heard from the cold
hearted warrior. Was he really offering to help him? It’s too bad he can’t help me with what I really
want.

Goku’s cheeks grew hot and he began to panic, not knowing how to respond, “I… “ he took a deep
breath, knowing that there was nothing Vegeta could do. “No thanks, Vegeta. I’m okay.”
Chapter 2
Chapter Summary

Seeking advice on his current issue, Goku has a 1:1 chat with Whis.

Chapter 2

A very long week had passed before Goku and Vegeta were meant to return to Lord Beerus's planet
for more training. Goku spent about half of his time thinking about how much he missed Vegeta,
and the other half dreading having to see him again, knowing that he wouldn’t be able to keep his
promise to fight better. Though he desperately tried to clear his mind of anything unrelated to
fighting, he couldn’t turn off the thoughts of his crush swirling endlessly in his mind.

“Dammit, Kakarot, open the door!”

Goku jolted in his bed, startled by the aggressive knocking at his front door. Vegeta? What is he
doing here? Oh, of course.

“You idiot!” Vegeta yelled as he pushed Goku’s door in, tossing the doorknob onto the ground,
“You were supposed to meet me an hour ago so we could go to Beerus’s planet to train,” he stuck a
finger at the larger Saiyan’s nose, “What the hell is wrong with you?”

Vegeta’s words echoed in Goku’s mind. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I just don’t know. He
sighed and shifted his gaze to the ground. “I’m not going, Vegeta. You go ahead without me.”

Eyes now wide, Vegeta dropped his arm back to his side. He looked at Goku inquisitively,
studying him up and down. Not going? Is he sick? His brows furrowed, “What do you mean you’re
not going? Of course you’re going.”

I don’t even know why he cares, seeing as he doesn’t like me anyway, Goku thought, though he’d
never say it out loud. Instead, he found himself saying, “Listen,” he started as he walked over
towards Vegeta, picking up the doorknob from the floor, “I’ll take you to Beerus’s planet, but after
that I’m coming back home.”

Not a single word was exchanged between the two Saiyans. The only sound was the clicking and
scratching from Goku attempting to fix his front door. Vegeta watched him, attempting to recover
from his rival’s shocking statement.

Finally, he found his voice, “Kakarot… whatever is going on with you… well I’m probably not the
best person to talk about it with.” Goku shot a glance at the smaller Saiyan beside him before
turning back to the door, fumbling with the various pieces. Vegeta puffed and stomped over to
Goku, snatching the doorknob from his hand and throwing it into the yard, “I’m trying to talk to
you, dammit!”

“Gosh, Vegeta, I heard you. Don’t talk to you about my problems. I got it,” Goku rolled his eyes.
“You idiot,” he banged his fist against the wall, “I’m trying to say that I’m not the best person to
talk to, but maybe you can talk to someone else. Someone who’s wise and always has answers for
everything?” Vegeta raised a brow, “Someone we were planning on seeing today until you decided
to lay in bed all morning.”

Goku looked puzzled, “You mean… Lord Beerus? I don’t know about that one, Vegeta. I never
really thought of him as someone to give advice.”

Vegeta slapped his hands against his face, letting out a groan, “No, you absolute moron, not
Beerus. Whis. You should talk to Whis.”

A lightbulb flickered over Goku’s head, realizing that perhaps Vegeta was right. Whis was his
mentor after all, and as a 200 million year old angel, he was bound to have some sort of advice for
Goku’s situation. On the other hand, Goku wasn’t really sure if he could make this type of
confession to his teacher. There was no way he could work through his embarrassment.

Goku’s shoulders slumped as he sighed, “I… I can’t.”

“Well you’d better,” Vegeta spat, cracking his knuckles, “because right now I’m a lot stronger than
you are, and unless you want to see the power gap between us first hand, you’re going to talk to
Whis.”

“Alright, alright,” Goku held his hands out, “Fine, I’ll… I’ll talk to him.” With a flash, the two
teleported across the cosmos.

“Ah, welcome back,” Whis greeted, “Better late than never, I suppose.”

“Yes,” Beerus added as he lounged on his chair out in the sun, “This must mean that you’ve taken
the extra time to bring us some new delicacy from Earth, right?”

“Uh-” Goku started, “We… uh… did not.”

Beerus’s eyes popped open before narrowing and shifting over to the Saiyans, though a hint of
amusement remained on his face, “Perhaps we’ve been too lenient with you two mortals,” he
looked over to Whis, “They expect us to train them even after they’ve shown up late and empty
handed.” He shook his head in disappointment as he rose from his seat. As he looked the two
warriors up and down, his voice lowered “I guess that means my treat will be to pummel you both
into the ground.”

Goku turned away with a grin, “Actually,” he put two fingers to his forehead, “I was just leaving,”
he closed his eyes, preparing to wave goodbye.

Vegeta grabbed him by the collar of his gi, knocking his hand down, “Actually you were not,” He
spun Goku around to face Whis, and pushed him forward, “Now, go. I can handle Beerus on my
own.”

A shock of nerves were sent through Goku's stomach, and Whis raised a brow in confusion.

Goku and Whis walked in silence for quite some time. They could sense the enormous ki from
Vegeta and Beerus begin to wane as they moved further away from their battlefield. Goku only
looked down, unsure of how to begin.

Observing Goku's fatigued countenance, Whis tilted his head thoughtfully. "Goku, I assume the
reason you asked to talk is because something is bothering you. I must admit, I've had some
apprehensions regarding the recent decline in your battle skills. Are you unwell?"
Goku turned his face away from Whis as he continued to pace on, "No. It's... it's not that."

Whis's brows knitted together as he fixed his gaze on the Saiyan, his expression intent. "Well if it
is not about your health, then what might be causing you to struggle so much? It is very out of
character for you."

Only silence followed, and Goku continued to turn his head away, walking further. Whis floated
alongside him. “Goku,” he pressed, halting and turning to look at his student now, “Is there
something that I can do to help?”

Goku came to a stop as well and sighed. He debated on whether he should confide in the angel or
keep his thoughts to himself.

Vegeta made a good point; Whis is so wise and smart. Maybe he can give me some good advice.
But at the same time, he might not understand, or he might just laugh. I don’t know what to do.
This is just too embarrassing to admit. But… I can’t seem to hide it anymore. If I don’t get some
help, I may never be able to fight again.

Goku let out another sigh, his gaze briefly scanning the area to ensure that Vegeta and Lord Beerus
were well out of hearing range. "Maybe there is a way you can help me. I… I need some advice,”
He continued to look down at the grass, refusing to make eye contact, “I’m going through
something that I don’t really understand.”

Whis's expression shifted to one of surprise, as though Goku's words had caught him off guard. He
then nodded gracefully, elegantly tucking one arm behind his back. "Go on then, Goku. I’ll see
how I can help."

Goku’s legs began to feel weak at the thought of admitting his secret. He plopped to the ground,
resting his back against the tree behind him. He held his breath, preparing to confess, then let go.
“I’ve been so distracted lately because… I… I have feelings for… someone.”

The angel said nothing for what seemed like eons to poor Goku until finally, the silence was
broken by Whis’s laughter.

Goku was shocked, his eyes blown wide as he looked up at the angel, "You’re laughing at me?
You’re supposed to be helping!"

Whis chuckled, "I’m sorry, Goku, I was just taken a bit by surprise. That wasn’t at all what I was
expecting.” He forced his smile down and cleared his throat. “Forgive me for asking, but were you
not married before? I would think that you’d have some experience in this department."

Goku threw his head back in frustration, looking up at the sky, “I was, but this is… so different.”

“Then perhaps this is something you should talk about with your crush,” Whis offered.

“No way!" Goku jumped to his feet. "He'd kill me if he knew how I felt!"

“He? ” Whis questioned, raising one brow.

Goku’s eyes grew wide, realizing his blunder. Darn it, how could I be so stupid? Okay, okay, but at
least he doesn’t know who I’m talking about. I can still get through this.

Something in Whis’s brain clicked, and he looked back at the Saiyan before him, “This person…
might it be Vegeta?”
The wind escaped Goku’s lungs and his face flushed red. Dammit.

“Ah, this makes so much more sense now,” Whis said, “This would definitely help account for
your level of distraction lately,” he looked up in thought.

Goku looked down, putting a hand to his face.

Whis took quick note of his student’s response, and began to reassure him, “It’s quite alright,
Goku. There is absolutely no judgment on my end,” he offered a slight smile. “However, my
advice still stands.”

“Your advice?” Goku asked, finally looking up at the angel.

“Yes. My advice was that you need to talk with him.”

"No way!” Goku exclaimed, “Come on! You know Vegeta. You know he’s not like that. He’d kill
me if I told him about how I felt. And with how poorly my training has been going lately, he really
would be able to do it.”

Whis shook his head, “Well then, it seems you have a choice to make. You can say nothing and get
squashed like an insect during your training, or you can confess your feelings so that you can move
on, regardless of the outcome.”

"Whis, there’s no way I can do that. Vegeta tells me all the time that he doesn’t like me. The only
time he’s ever been nice to me was when he asked if he could help me, and when he convinced me
to talk with you.”

Whis cocked his head to the side. "Vegeta offered to help, and convinced you to speak with me?"

"Yeah. I was pretty surprised too."

“Ah, Goku,” Whis grinned, “Perhaps you were wrong about Vegeta then.”

“Wrong about Vegeta? What do you mean?”

"Well, for one thing," Whis explained, “He would not take the time to help you if he didn’t care for
you. That doesn’t necessarily mean that he shares the same feelings for you, but it certainly does
mean that he cares for you to some extent."

Goku stood still, his mind reeling as he came to the realization that Whis was right. If I don't say
something, I’ll never be able to focus on anything else. And maybe… there’s a chance.

Confession time

CHAPTER 3

Goku and Whis stood over Vegeta lying down in the dirt, his armor cracked and his body covered
in bruises and dust.

“Is… is he taking a nap?” Goku put a finger to his chin.

Vegeta grunted and his battered eyes peeked open, “No, you idiot,” he breathed heavily. Beerus
gave a satisfied smile from above before returning his attention toward the ice cream in his hand.
Vegeta continued between pants, “If you two have returned… I assume that means… you’ve
fixed… your issue.”

“Oh, yes,” Whis responded, not even giving Goku a chance to answer, “In fact, Goku was just
saying how eager he was to knock you into the ground,” he put a hand to his lips, covering his
chuckle.

“WHAT?!” Vegeta leapt to his feet, magically recovering from his injuries.

“Whis!” Goku shot a glance at the angel.

Whis placed his arm behind his back, “Relax, Vegeta. I am only joking.” He could feel Vegeta’s
muscles begin to relax, “However,” Whis continued, “Goku does have some things he needs to
share with you. After that, I suspect that his fighting will improve drastically.”

Vegeta’s head shifted between the angel and the Saiyan, a puzzled expression covering his face.
“That’s it? That’s all it took?” A smile grew on Vegeta’s face as he popped his knuckles, “Well
then, go on Kakarot. Get this over with so we can get our fight started.”

Goku’s face began to turn red, and he looked at Whis, then over to Beerus.

Whis nodded knowingly, then looked up in the sky toward the Destroyer, “Come, Lord Beerus. Let
us grab something else to eat.”

Beerus’s smile grew wide as his tail twitched. The rest of his ice cream cone filling his cheek,
“Excellent idea!” he spat as crumbs flew from his mouth. The two then drifted off, sights set on his
kitchen.

Vegeta crossed his arms, “Go on already,” he huffed, “I’m not going to wait all day.” He stopped
to eye Goku, realizing that he truly had something big on his mind. "What is it exactly that you're
keeping from me?" Goku couldn’t bring himself to answer, but he felt his cheeks growing hotter.
"What's going on with you?" Vegeta asked, taking a step toward him, and Goku in turn took a step
back.
"It’s…” I can’t do this. “It's nothing. I talked with Whis, and that’s all."

"Lying doesn’t suit you, Kakarot," Vegeta released his breath, uncrossing his arms. He then slowly
walked closer to Goku, trying his best not to push him away. He turned his head to ensure that the
deities were long gone, assuming that whatever was on Goku’s mind was likely meant to be a
private matter. “Tell me,” he urged.

Goku took a deep breath, remembering Whis’s words. I have a choice to make. And he had
decided. He decided that he would tell Vegeta what was really going on with him. If it ended their
friendship, then that would be it. If it meant they couldn’t spar anymore, well, Goku couldn’t really
spar with anyone at the moment anyway. He knew that until he got this off of his chest, he
wouldn’t be able to move on. After so much time hiding his feelings, of lying, of hiding himself,
he was done with it. He had imagined an entire life with Vegeta, and he knew he needed to say
something. He owed it to himself to try.

"I… I'm going to tell you something, and I need you to promise not to kill me," Goku said, rubbing
his hands across his gi nervously.

Vegeta blinked, "I guess that depends on how stupid it is."

Really stupid, Goku thought. Clenching his hands into tight fists, he closed his eyes, trying to hold
back the wave of nausea and anxiety overwhelming him. He refused to open his eyes as he sucked
in a deep breath, and began. "Listen, Vegeta… “ his voice began to quiver, “I… " the words
refused to escape his lips. He stayed silent for what felt like years. Just do it already. He sighed,
finding the courage to go on, "I really like you…” His eyes were still clenched shut, and he
flinched, anticipating a fist to swing at him.

Vegeta stood still for several seconds, brows furrowing and eyes narrowing as he tried to
comprehend what Goku was telling him, “Kakarot… I… don’t think I’m following.”

Goku’s face turned red as he finally opened his eyes, frustrated at his poor communication skills.
He took in the view of the shorter Saiyan in front of him. Even bruised and battered, his stomach
fluttered just from looking at him. He was mesmerized by Vegeta’s spiky hair flowing in the
breeze, and the way his muscles bulged, and every crevice and battle scar that signified his many
years of battling experience.

“Vegeta… ” he found himself saying as if by instinct, “I have feelings for you.” His heart pounded
rapidly, sending pulses through his throat and into his words, “I know that this may come as a
surprise to you…” he looked down, “And I understand if you… you can’t continue training with
me… but I had to say something.”

Vegeta was the one blushing now, hearing these words slip from his rival. He was frozen, his
expression unreadable. The universe had gone silent, except for Goku’s racing pulse. More sweat
had built up on his face as he watched the smaller Saiyan, awaiting his response. He stood still,
continuing to shift his gaze back and forth between Vegeta and the ground beneath them without
saying a word. He desperately wanted Vegeta to say something. Anything would be better than
silence.

To his relief, Vegeta finally let out a short breath. Goku tensed, awaiting an onslaught of punches
or kicks, or to be yelled at, but Vegeta did none of those things. He simply shook his head, turned
around, and flew off into the skies.
Chapter 4
Chapter Summary

Goku and Vegeta need to have a serious chat after Goku's secret is spilled

CHAPTER 4

Vegeta had a lot to think about, and training was now the last thing on his mind. He locked the
door to the living quarters that he and Goku normally shared during their time on Beerus’s planet,
wanting to be alone. He stared blankly at the ceiling, wondering what he was supposed to do about
Goku. What bothered him most about all of this though, was not Goku’s feelings for him, but that
he wasn't angry about it.

This is all so absurd, he thought. But the more he lied there contemplating his next move, the more
he had time to reflect on his own feelings. How could Kakarot suddenly have feelings for me?
Feelings so strong that they impact his fighting so terribly? It makes no sense. We’re Saiyans,
warriors, fighting machines. And the thought of being with… with a low class Saiyan like
Kakarot… no way. Vegeta let out a sigh.

Nobody had ever told Vegeta that they liked him, other than Bulma of course, but even she had left
him some time ago. He knew he wasn't very personable or friendly. He didn’t want to be. He
thought maybe Goku was messing with him, trying to throw him off his game, but he knew that his
rival was not a liar.

Vegeta huffed, finally getting out of bed and treading over to the bathroom. That damn fool has no
idea what he’s talking about. He stopped to look at himself in the mirror. All I’ve ever done is fight
him, insult him, treat him as an opponent, a goal post to surpass. He was driving himself mad with
the endless thoughts of Goku bombarding his mind, unable to focus on anything else. He started to
realize that this must have been how Goku had felt this entire time while holding onto his secret.

I should’ve stayed to talk about this with him. To figure out what to do.

--

Lying on the narrow ledge beneath the velvet canopy of a moonless night, Goku gazed up at the
starry expanse overhead, his arms resting under his head. The shimmering constellations seemed to
whisper secrets across the cosmos, sharing in the newfound lightness of his soul. Earlier, he had
unburdened himself of a weighty secret, and now, under the watchful eye of the universe, a
profound sense of relief washed over him. The cool night air caressed his skin, and a gentle breeze
carried away the remnants of anxiety and uncertainty.

“You seem rather calm,” Whis noted, appearing beside the Saiyan.

Goku turned his head to the angel floating beside him, then looked back to the stars, “Yeah. It
didn’t go exactly how I planned, but I do feel a lot better. I feel like I can breathe again,” he rose to
his feet, gazing at his mentor now, “Thank you, Whis.” Whis nodded with a smile, happy to help
his pupil. Goku chuckled, “I just wish Vegeta wouldn’t have flown off. I really don’t want to lose
him.”
Whis let out a sigh, “Yes, it is an outcome that we both anticipated as a possibility, but give him
some time. You’ve unloaded quite a bit of new information onto him that he needs to process.”

“Yeah,” Goku nodded, “I’m surprised he’s still here on the planet.”

“Well, of course,” Whis laughed, “He’s stuck here unless either you or I bring him back to Earth,
and he certainly knows better than to ask me for such a favor." He put a finger to his chin, looking
up thoughtfully, "Though he could attempt to do it himself, I suspect he has not refined his Instant
Transmission enough to go from here all the way back to Earth.”

Realizing this, Goku looked down. That’s right. So he didn’t stay here for me. He’s here because
he’s trapped. “I should offer him a lift home.” Before Whis had a chance to interject, Goku put two
fingers to his forehead, and disappeared.

Goku appeared suddenly in the shared guesthouse. Vegeta, sitting on his bed, had his eyes wide
open and his jaw dropped ever so slightly. He couldn't believe his eyes when he witnessed Goku
abruptly materialize in front of him, uninvited. “AH-KAKAROT, haven’t you ever heard of
knocking?!”

A spasm of embarrassment set over Goku, causing his cheeks to turn red. “Agh, sorry Vegeta,” he
rubbed the back of his neck before continuing, “Listen, I’m sorry I sprung all of that on you… I
just came here to see if… you wanted me to take you home.”

Vegeta crossed his arms, a look of annoyance on his face. "You think I want to leave?" he snapped.

“Well, I just assumed… you’d be uncomfortable… maybe I should be the one to go,” Goku looked
down. “Yeah… I should go home. I’m sorry for troubling you, Vegeta,” he said as he raised his
fingers to his face, preparing to teleport. Without thinking, Vegeta reached out to grab the larger
Saiyan’s arm, attempting to stop his teleportation, but it was too late. As soon as he grabbed onto
Goku, the two instantly appeared back on Earth.

“Huh?” Goku blinked, confused at the unexpected company that had joined him on his trip back.
“Vegeta, why did you grab on to me?”

“Uh dad?” Gohan asked. Goku and Vegeta both turned to Gohan now, realizing that they’d
teleported straight into his bedroom. Gohan and Videl stared at their uninvited guests with shocked
expressions. Videl tugged at the blanket, quickly covering herself.

Vegeta and Goku eyed each other quickly before turning around to face the wall. Goku stammered
in a panic, “Sorry Gohan! Sorry Videl! Total accident, I swear. We were just leaving!” He called
out before the two blasted away, gone in the blink of an eye.

“I’m gonna hear about that one later,” Goku said, as he and Vegeta flew across the sky.

“Yes, it seems you have quite the issue with entering before knocking,” Vegeta spat as they landed
on the ground outside of Vegeta’s home. “Listen… why don’t you come in so we can talk.”

Goku blinked, “Talk? About… what I told you?”

“No, let’s talk about the weather,” Vegeta crossed his arms, rolling his eyes.

“The… weather? Well I guess it is nice outside tonight.”

Vegeta smacked Goku on the head. "Of course this is about what you told me, you idiot!"
"Okay, okay, sorry, my mistake!" Goku laughed nervously as the two entered Vegeta’s dome
shaped home. Walking into the living room, Goku took a chance to really get a good look at
Vegeta’s home. He sat down on the couch, watching Vegeta's dark eyes travel between him and
the floor. It’s so weird to be inside of his house. To think that he cooks in that kitchen, watches TV
on this couch, sleeps on that bed… his bed…

"Kakarot, did you hear a single word that I said?"

Goku jolted, realizing he’d been daydreaming. He looked up at Vegeta, his face becoming bright
red. "Sorry, I… got distracted. What were you saying?"

Vegeta sighed heavily, rolling his eyes. “I was saying, you owe me an explanation.”

Goku nodded, dragging his fingers along the couch. "During the Tournament of Power, watching
you battle to save our universe, hearing you make a promise to save Universe 6, I think that’s when
I started to…” he took a breath, “Well, when I noticed that my feelings had changed toward you.”

He looked over to the smaller Saiyan sitting on the chair across from him. Vegeta leaned his face
into his knuckles, listening intently.

“I know it sounds crazy,” Goku continued, “But I really did mean everything that I said. I… I think
you’re incredible, and… I just want to spend my life with you.” His cheeks turned red, and he
found he could no longer hold eye contact as he spoke.

The weight of silence bore down upon them. Anticipation and anxiety intertwined, creating an
electric tension that seemed to hum in the air. Every passing second felt like an eternity, each tick
of the clock echoing loudly in the stillness. Goku replayed his speech in his mind, wondering if he
had said too much or too little, his thoughts spiraling into a maze of uncertainty. The room felt
smaller, and the walls seemed to close in as he grappled with the unknown.

“Please, Vegeta,” Goku broke the silence, “Say something.”

Goku explains his feelings, trying not to scare his crush away

CHAPTER 5

Vegeta sat across from Goku, his usually composed expression marred by disbelief. The confession
that Goku had shared hung heavily in the air, casting a shadow over them. His clenched fists
trembled slightly as he struggled to find the words to respond. For the first time in a long while,
Vegeta felt a sense of vulnerability. It was a moment that left him grappling with a rush of
emotions, a turbulent storm of concern for dealing with the unknown.

At Goku’s plea, he realized he needed to say something to pacify the larger Saiyan. He began to
pity Goku for having to keep these thoughts to himself for so long. He knew his reaction wasn’t
ideal, so he shook away the feelings of shock so that he could have a proper conversation.

“I just… I don’t understand,” Vegeta finally managed to say, “ I tried to kill you, all of your friends,
everyone on Earth. It was a long time ago, but it did happen. You don’t care about any of that?” He
looked up now to Goku, his eye beginning to twitch, “And not to mention, if you haven’t noticed,
I’m a man. Given your history, shouldn’t you be interested in… well… women?”

Goku released a breath of relief now that the silence had ended, and he responded, “The Saiyan
that arrived on Earth to destroy everyone isn’t who you are anymore.” He scratched his head,
thinking on how to continue, “And as for your second question… I don’t know. I just know that I
can’t ignore how I feel,” he admitted.

Vegeta paused for a few moments, taking in what Goku had said. He then prepared himself,
because he knew his next question would be impossible to get out of his mouth. "Kakarot, if we…"
I can’t possibly say this out loud. I can’t. Damn this idiot. “If we did what you wanted us to do… if
we were…” he huffed, trying to force the words out, “a couple…” his face flushed red, but he
continued, “Do you even understand what would happen? The complications that come along with
that?”

With a nod, Goku responded, "Yeah, I did think about that, and it was one of the reasons I held this
back for so long." He rubbed the back of his neck, "At first I thought it would make fighting each
other, and fighting against an enemy together a lot harder.”

"That’s a complete understatement," Vegeta interrupted, jumping to his feet. "You’d be too focused
on protecting me, rather than on the actual enemy."
“But that’s the thing, Vegeta, I don’t think that’s true,” Goku stood as well, stepping closer to the
smaller Saiyan.

Vegeta shot Goku a puzzled look, awaiting further explanation.

“Listen,” Goku began, “Do you remember when we first met Beerus? He completely demolished
me with just a flick from his finger and the touch of his palm. And I know you don’t want to admit
it, but at that time I was much stronger than you were.”

Vegeta grumbled, his face tensing, but he let Goku continue uninterrupted.

Goku walked closer until he was towering over Vegeta, “But when Beerus slapped Bulma, it sent
you into a frenzy, and your power soared to new heights. You broke through your ceiling because
you had such strong feelings of love for her. Now imagine how powerful we could be together.”

Taking a deep breath in, Goku found himself suddenly so full of courage, and he slowly placed his
hands on Vegeta's waist. The smaller Saiyan tensed immediately, glancing at Goku with a look of
nervousness. He debated pushing Goku away, or punching him in the gut, but he found he was
unable to do anything but stand still.

Goku looked down into Vegeta’s eyes, sensing his crush’s apprehension. “I know we would be
good for each other,” he said lightly. He exhaled before slowly releasing Vegeta’s waist and
bringing his arms back to his side. “Listen, I didn’t mean to cut your training session short. Do you
want a lift back to Beerus’s planet?”

Vegeta found he could breathe again, but his mind was still swirling with thoughts of confusion.
He closed his eyes, trying to focus only on the new topic at hand, to forget how he felt with Goku’s
hand wrapped around him.

He finally opened his eyes, “We’ll need to bring them back something good if we want them to
train us after we ditched them.”

Goku’s eyes lit up, “You’re right, and I know just the place. I’ll meet you here tomorrow morning
and we can go together.”

Vegeta’s face grew hot, flashing red, “Kakarot, you’re not seriously asking me out on a date, are
you?”

“It doesn’t have to be a date, but it could be.”

“No! No way!” Vegeta stuck his finger out at the larger Saiyan, his rage now growing, “Listen you
moron, I’ll go with you, but it is not a date. We’ll get the food, and go straight to their planet to
train.”

“Okay ‘Geta, you got it,” Goku grinned.

What the hell did he just call me?

Before Vegeta could say more, Goku grabbed onto his hands, “I’ll see you tomorrow then,” he
smiled, looking down at him. Vegeta’s palms began to sweat, and a fluttering feeling surged
through his core. “Bye, ‘Geta,” he said, releasing his hands and showing himself out before flying
home.

CHAPTER 6

The morning sun painted the sky with a warm, golden hue as Goku bustled around his home, his
excitement almost palpable. It was a special day, one that he had eagerly anticipated for since he’d
invited Vegeta out with him the previous night. He scrambled to get dressed, trying to clean
himself up to look presentable.

He said it’s not a date, so I guess he wouldn’t mind if I invite the others to tag along, Goku
thought. He shot a text to his group chat with Bulma, Gohan, Krillin, and Yamcha, hoping that
they would join them and ease any of the awkwardness that Vegeta might feel. As he finished
lacing up his boots, Goku's eyes gleamed with enthusiasm. I can’t believe he actually agreed to
come with me. Even if it’s not a date.

With a deep breath, he concentrated on Vegeta's energy signature and activated his Instant
Transmission. In an instant, Goku appeared in Vegeta's room, and the sight that greeted him was
somewhat unexpected. Vegeta, the proud Saiyan Prince, was still sprawled on his bed, disheveled
hair mussed from sleep, his scowl turning into a look of sheer surprise as Goku appeared out of
thin air.

"Kakarot, what the hell?!" Vegeta exclaimed, sitting up abruptly. “Did you learn nothing from last
night?”

Goku grinned sheepishly, scratching his head. "Hey, ‘Geta! Sorry for the surprise entrance. I just
got so excited to see you today." Vegeta blushed, not knowing how to respond. Sensing his sudden
tension, Goku decided to tell him about the group joining them. “I know you said it’s not a date.
Don’t worry, I invited a few others to come along so you wouldn’t be… uncomfortable.”

“Others? Who did you invite?” Vegeta crossed his arms.

“Ah you know, the whole group. Bulma, Krillin, Yamcha, Gohan-”

“Alright, alright,” Vegeta interjected, annoyed, “I don’t need the whole guest list.” He sighed, his
initial irritation giving way to resignation. "So, where are we going, anyway?"

Goku's eyes lit up as he eagerly explained, "Well, Vegeta, there’s this big event with puddings from
all over the Earth! I remembered we were talking about Beerus’s first visit to Earth yesterday, and
how he never got to try any pudding because Majin Buu ate it all. So, I thought, maybe we could
bring some back for him.”

Vegeta squinted, taken back by the idea that Goku had come up with. He nodded in agreement. A
couple dozen bowls of pudding would certainly be one way to pacify the God of Destruction.
"Fine, Kakarot. Let's go to your festival and get some of that pudding. I need to get dressed. You go
wait out on the couch," he said, pointing Goku towards the door.

“Alright, Kakarot, lead the way,” Vegeta said as the two Saiyans walked out of his house.

“Actually,” Goku grinned nervously, “I had another idea on how to get there.”

“I’m not letting you drive me there. I’ve seen how you drive.”
“No, no, not that,” Goku laughed before clearing his throat and turning to the side. He put his
hands to his mouth to increase his volume as he called out, “Nimbus!” His voice boomed across the
sky and the nearby homes. Seconds later, the friendly yellow cloud that had helped Goku travel the
world during his childhood raced toward them. He smiled, feeling a wave of nostalgia rush through
him. “Goten usually rides it to school, but he told me I could borrow it for today.”

Vegeta raised his eyebrows, "Don't be stupid. First of all, there's not enough room for the two of us
on there. And more importantly, I can't ride that thing anyway."

"Don't worry." Goku said as he climbed onto the fluffy yellow cloud, sitting down cross legged in
the center, "I already thought of that. You can sit right here," he pointed to his lap, then patted his
legs.

Vegeta puffed, half in humor and half in shock at Goku’s ridiculous proposal. His face began to
heat up, "You can’t be serious!" He shook his head, “I’ll just fly,” he said, floating up into the air.

Goku chuckled, looking up at Vegeta now as he floated in the sky above him. “Oh come on,
‘Geta."

"No." Vegeta crossed his arms. “Let’s go before I change my mind and decide to stay home.”

"Ah come on, please?" Goku put his hands together, pleading.

"No."

"Fine. I know how to handle this,” Goku rose to his feet, balancing on his cloud. His eyes
narrowed and a mischievous smile erupted on his face. “Let’s settle this argument like men, then,”
he said as he began stretching his arms.

Vegeta glared at him. "Don’t you dare say that, Kakarot. You know you don’t stand a chance
against me."

"Oh yeah?” Goku smirked, “Then come down here and prove it. Unless you’re scared.” Goku
laughed as he tucked his hands under his armpits, making chicken wing gestures.

Vegeta began fuming, his fists clenching tightly by his sides as he gritted his teeth, “Alright,
Kakarot. Get ready to be humiliated,” he said as he drifted down to meet Goku’s height on the
cloud. “Because if I win, you go to this ridiculous pudding festival on your own, and give all the
credit to me when we deliver the food to Whis and Beerus.”

Goku nodded with a smile.

The tension in the atmosphere was quaking as Goku and Vegeta stood facing each other. With a
solemn nod, they simultaneously raised their closed fists, their expressions steely and determined.
It was a battle of wills, a Saiyan clash of pride and determination.

They shouted in unison, as their hands shot out in perfect synchronization, "Rock, paper, scissors!"

Vegeta threw out a clenched fist, signifying rock. Goku, however, had chosen paper, his hand held
flat. A moment of silence hung in the air as the realization sunk in. The smaller Saiyan’s eyes
widened slightly, his face betraying a flicker of surprise. Goku’s grin stretched from ear to ear, a
sparkle gleaming in his eyes.

"Paper beats rock," Goku announced, his voice triumphant.

Vegeta clenched his jaw, his pride stinging from the loss. With a reluctant sigh, he conceded,
understanding the consequences of losing in this battle. "Fine… Kakarot…” he spat, his face
lowered and burning bright red.

Goku took his seated position on the Nimbus once again, extending his hand, "Come on, ‘Geta. I
promise we’ll have a good time."

Vegeta stared at Goku's hand. He wanted nothing more than to go back inside the house, but he
knew that he’d lost the game. With a groan, he knocked Goku’s hand away, not wanting to submit
himself to any more humiliation. He quickly leapt up into the air, gently lowering himself down
onto Goku’s lap. His shoulders slumped and his face burned red in embarrassment.

He sat on top of Goku’s lap with his legs crossed, hands covering his face in fear that someone
might see him. As they launched up into the sky, headed toward the festival, Goku couldn’t hold in
his excitement any longer. He’d dreamed of this day for so long. Riding on the Nimbus with
Vegeta, holding onto him tightly. He gently placed his arms around Vegeta’s waist like he’d done
the night before, inhaling deeply to take in his scent. He then rested his cheek against Vegeta’s soft
hair, nuzzling up against him.

Though he was taken back by how affectionate Goku was being with him, Vegeta couldn't help but
feel a mix of emotions. He wanted to be angry at Goku for making him go, for making him ride on
the Nimbus in his lap like a child, for making him feel like a fool. He wanted to hold onto his
Saiyan pride and stubbornness, but something unexpected happened. As he felt Goku’s face rub up
against the back of his head, and the warmth of his arms caressing his waist, he realized that he
was actually not having a terrible time.

There was a warmth radiating in his heart, a feeling he couldn't deny. He was glad he could make
Goku happy, even if it meant indulging in something as seemingly trivial as a pudding festival.
With a faint but genuine smile, Vegeta thought to himself, Maybe, just maybe, this pudding thing
won't be so bad after all.
Chapter 7

CHAPTER 7

Goku and Vegeta soared through the sky on the trusty flying Nimbus, the wind rushing past them
as they made their way to the pudding festival. Goku couldn't help but let out an exhilarated
whoop, relishing the feel of the wind in his hair and the thrill of the ride.

As they descended towards the festival grounds, a familiar face was observing them, completely
awestruck. Their friends and family were gathered together by the event entrance as Vegeta pushed
himself off of Goku’s lap and onto the ground, Goku following behind him.

Bulma stood there, blinking in disbelief. “Did-did you guys see that?” She stammered, pointing at
the Saiyans in the distance.

Krillin and Yamcha tried to identify whatever Bulma was referring to. They exchanged looks,
shrugging their shoulders before Krillin did a quick double take. “Ah, you mean Goku!” Krillin
cheered, “Yeah I see him. Looks like he just got here, and Vegeta came with him.”

“...Right…” Bulma said, still breathless. She shook her head, wondering if she had just
hallucinated the whole thing. She looked over to her friends, and then back at the Saiyans before
waving enthusiastically, her blue hair shimmering in the sunlight. Krillin, Yamcha, and Gohan
were chatting and laughing nearby, clearly excited about the festival's sweet offerings, even if they
were only there to help collect pudding for the Destroyer.

But it was baby Pan who stole the show. Giggling in her father’s arms, the little Saiyan-Human
hybrid was reaching out, as if trying to grab the fluffy clouds above them. Goku's face lit up with a
bright smile as spotted her, and dashed over to the group.

"Hey, guys! We made it!" Goku called out as he and Vegeta landed gracefully by their side.

Bulma looked over, a glint of mischief in her eyes. "Well, well, Vegeta, what brings you here? The
pudding festival doesn't seem like your usual scene."

Vegeta scratched his head sheepishly, "I’m only here to collect food for Beerus. Nothing more," he
turned his head away, crossing his arms.

“And what an interesting mode of transportation you used,” she continued, putting a finger to her
chin as if deep in thought.

Sh-she saw that?! Vegeta panicked, looking at the others. To his relief, no one else had been
paying attention to Bulma’s comment, all eyes still resting on Pan.

“Don’t worry,” she winked, “Your secret is safe with me.”

Vegeta crossed his arms and huffed, “I don’t know what you’re talking about, woman.”

“Mhmm, I bet,” she grinned, almost too wide.

Amidst the vibrant stalls and the mouthwatering aroma of puddings that wafted through the air,
Goku and Vegeta embarked on their pudding-piling adventure. Their competition was fierce, both
Saiyans trying to outdo the other in the art of pudding accumulation. Goku, with his voracious
appetite, moved with super saiyan speed, expertly stacking bowls upon bowls of puddings of all
flavors and sizes, while taking several for himself. Vegeta, on the other hand, relied on his Saiyan
pride and meticulous planning, ensuring every bowl was placed with precision.

Bulma watched with amusement, providing strategic advice to both of them, as Krillin, Yamcha,
Gohan, and Pan joined the fun, gathering their own sweet treasures. Baby Pan, with her tiny hands,
giggled and clapped, unaware of the pudding frenzy unfolding around her.

Goku laughed as he began to wobble, his lazily piled skyscraper beginning to fall. Watching the
larger Saiyan beside him struggling to keep his balance, Vegeta instinctively used his free hand to
hold onto Goku’s back, keeping him upright. They both blushed at Vegeta’s gesture. It was one
that neither of them had expected.

Bulma watched intently, as this only confirmed the hypothesis forming in her head. Oh yeah,
something is definitely going on with those two.

Quickly letting go, Vegeta cleared his throat and sidestepped away from Goku. "I-uh, I think this
should be enough to make Beerus and Whis forgive us," Vegeta said.

Goku nodded, his heart still recovering from the surprise touch that Vegeta had given him.

Bulma loaded up the piles of bowls into a capsule for the men to easily carry back with them, and
announced that she needed to head back to Capsule Corp. She gave the guys a knowing wink
before heading off. The rest of the group departed as well, leaving just the two Saiyan warriors
behind.

“Hey ‘Geta,” Goku turned to face him, “I know this wasn’t really your thing, but I had a really
good time with you,” he rubbed his hands on his gi nervously.

Vegeta refused to make eye contact. Clenching his hands into tight fists by his sides, his face
turning red as he forced himself to speak, “I… did too.”

The corners of Goku’s lips spiked up, his face softening, “I guess we need to stop by your place
first before going back to Beerus’s planet?” He asked, gesturing to Vegeta’s outfit.

Looking down, Vegeta took note of the blotches of pudding stains drying up on the sleeves of his
battle suit. He huffed in aggravation.

His ears were met with a roaring laughter from Goku, “Not very tidy for a prince, huh?” He
elbowed Vegeta playfully. “Anyway, I won’t make you take the Nimbus again if you don’t want
to. We can just fly home if you’re more comfortable with that.” He smiled at Vegeta, just wanting
to make him happy.

Shifting his eyes between Goku and the ground beneath them, Vegeta was deep in thought, this
idiot has my mind spinning. I think I may be going mad. His voice began to quiver as he kicked the
dirt beside him, “I suppose… I wouldn’t mind… taking the cloud again.”

CHAPTER 8

“Kakarot you just passed my house!”

Goku nodded, “Yeah, I know. Is that okay? I thought, since we’re already up here, we could go for
a little ride.”

“But we need to train! How long has it been since you’ve had some real training?” Vegeta turned
his neck to glare at Goku, but the dopey grin on his face began to melt Vegeta’s cold expression.
He let out a sigh as he faced forward again, already knowing he wasn’t going to win this argument.

“Oh, come on, ‘Geta. We’ll have plenty of time for that,” Goku smiled as he wrapped his arms
around Vegeta, pulling him backwards and hugging him from behind. He rested his hands on
Vegeta’s chest and gave him a tight squeeze.

Vegeta froze, his muscles stiffening as he felt Goku nudging his face up against him again. He felt
Goku’s locks of hair brushing up against the back of him, tickling his neck. He turned his head
slightly to the side so he could see Goku, and he watched as Goku peered down at the ground far
below them, observing the crowded city as he held him firmly.

As his body finally began to relax, he closed his eyes, thinking about how Goku’s grip had
tightened around his chest, and suddenly he had an intense feeling of warmth beginning to burn in
him. What the hell is wrong with me? He groaned, his cock slowly beginning to harden.

He let out a frustrated sigh, pulling Goku’s arms off of him.

“What’s wrong, ‘Geta?” Goku’s smile had fallen.

Vegeta’s face began to flush red, “I… I need to go home,” he responded, looking straight forward.

“Did I do something to upset you?”

Hearing the disappointment in Goku’s voice, Vegeta felt a tinge of guilt. Why do I feel bad about
hurting his feelings? This makes no sense. I shouldn’t care about something so ridiculous. Of
course he did something to upset me. He was supposed to take me home so I could change and we
could fight. And now I’m… I can’t feel like this. I’m gonna give him a piece of my mind.

His brows furrowed and he turned around, preparing to unleash the rage building inside of him, but
as soon as he locked eyes with Goku and saw the heartbreak on his face, a switch flipped inside of
him, and his anger was gone.
“No, Kakarot,” he said softly, “I just… I need to take a shower.”

--

Vegeta leaned against the tile wall, letting the warm water sprinkle over him. I can’t believe he… I
can’t believe I got hard from that. All he did was hold on to me, and rub his face up against my
back. He thought about how warm Goku’s arms were in comparison to the cold breeze up in the
sky, and how nice he felt when Goku hugged him tightly. He began to get lost in thought until he
noticed his hands were moving downward on their own, preparing to stroke himself.

“Dammit!” He yelled, quickly turning the water down to the lowest temperature. He turned around,
pressing his forehead against the wall. He banged his fist beside him, shaking the walls. What the
hell has gotten into me?

Goku watched as Vegeta stepped out of the bathroom, one towel wrapped securely around his
waist and another in his hand being used to dry his hair. He couldn’t take his eyes off of the way
the water droplets crawled down Vegeta’s bulging muscles, or how his damp hair drooped to the
sides.

“You were in there for a long time,” Goku whined.

"Oh? You missed me that much, huh?" Vegeta taunted.

Goku stiffened, "N-no!"

Vegeta smirked as he walked over to his closet to get dressed. After reappearing, he sat beside
Goku on the bed, clearing his throat. “Alright, that’s enough playing around. Let’s go to Beerus’s
planet now.”

“Ah, come on. It’s getting late. Why don’t we stay here for tonight? I bet we could have some
fun.”

Face turning red, Vegeta tilted his head, "Are you flirting with me?"

"Well I’m trying to." Goku chuckled. He then wrapped his arm around Vegeta, nuzzling his face
into his neck. The touch sent another wave of warmth through his body, and he turned his face
away so Goku couldn't see his reaction.

Vegeta’s eyes looked away, not wanting Goku to see the redness covering his face, “We… we
can’t stay. We left without telling them. We owe it to them to show up.”

Letting out a sigh, Goku knew it was true. “Okay, hold on,” he said, tightening his grip on the
smaller Saiyan. He put two fingers to his forehead and closed his eyes, searching for the familiar
energy of Beerus and Whis. They sat there for several minutes, Goku’s eyes now clenching and his
brows beginning to knit together.

“That’s… weird. I can’t sense them.”

“What do you mean you can’t sense them?!” Yelled Vegeta.

“I don’t sense them anywhere. I checked in the direction of Beerus’s planet, and I’ve scanned as far
out as I can across the universe. I have no idea where they are.” Goku said.

Vegeta huffed, “Kakarot, if this is some kind of joke-”

“It’s not, honest. They must have gone off to some other galaxy.”

“Interesting,” he sighed, “I suppose… this means we’ll have to postpone our training. Those two
must be up to something… We’ll have to search again later.”

“Does that mean I can stay here tonight?” Goku cheered.

“What?! No way, you idiot! There’s no chance in hell that you’re staying here,” he crossed his
arms, “I’m still half convinced that you’re just saying they’re gone so you can avoid getting your
ass handed to you.”

“You know I wouldn’t do that, ‘Geta.” Goku shifted on the bed, now sitting on his knees facing
Vegeta, “Please, ‘Getaaa,” he put his hands together. “It could be fun. Come onnnn,” he whined.

“Ahh Kakarot, you’re annoying me.” Goku’s shoulders slumped and he looked down, feeling the
intensity of rejection. Vegeta noticed immediately, feeling the drastic change in the energy next to
him. He sighed, looking over at Goku, “Fine. You can stay, but you better not make me regret this.
And no funny business.”

Goku didn’t know what kind of business they could possibly have to do, or how it could be funny,
but he was excited nonetheless. Vegeta took joy in seeing Goku so happy, but he had a bad feeling
in the pit of his stomach. Something was off about Whis and Beerus being gone.

--

“Whis, do you know what all this is about?” Asked Beerus.

“I do not know for certain, but I assume this is regarding the state of Universes 13 through 18. The
ones that the android wished back into existence during the Tournament of Power.”

Beerus grumbled about how this was absolute nonsense as they traveled toward the angel realm.
“He didn’t even mean to wish those universes back into existence. They shouldn’t have been
brought back,” he crossed his arms, throwing his head back in frustration. “And now I can’t nap
because they’re causing trouble in the multiverse.”

Upon arrival, they could see the angels and Destroyer Gods from each of the universes. All were
present except for those from Universes 13 and 15.

A familiar sarcastic voice screeched in Beerus’s ear, “Brother! How nice to see you,” Champa said.
“I see you’ve gotten fat,” he continued, pointing at Beerus’s belly. Beerus growled and prepared to
swing his fist at Champa's face, but was quickly interrupted by the entrance of the Grand Priest.

“Everyone," the Grand Priest began, "We are here today to address a matter of utmost importance.
I am sure that you have felt the colossal disturbances in the multiverse. In a most unprecedented
event, though to no great surprise, it would seem the angel and God of Destruction of Universe 15
have deviated from their sacred duties and fallen into the realm of darkness.”

“In facing this unprecedented challenge, we must exercise wisdom and caution. The repercussions
of an angel and God of Destruction gone rogue are profound and threaten the very fabric of
existence.”

Gone rogue? What is he talking about? Maybe I’ve been napping for too long. Champa thought to
himself. What exactly is going on? Champa was so busy trying to catch up, that he’d missed the tail
end of the speech.
“Uh, Vados?” Champa whispered to his angel standing beside him.

“Yes, Lord Champa?”

“Uh, what exactly was he talking about?” Champa asked as he scratched at his ears nervously.

Vados gave a quick look of disappointment and sighed, “I’m not surprised that you were unaware
of the events going on in Universes 15 and 13, given that you’ve been asleep for so long.”

“Just tell me. Give me the short version.”

“Very well, my lord. It would seem that Malaki and Vinasa, the angel and the God of Destruction
of Universe 15, have fused together.”

Champa’s ears jolted up and his eyes popped from his face, “WHAT?!”

“Yes. And it would seem that they have already destroyed their entire universe, as well as Universe
13.”

“How? How is this possible? This doesn’t make any sense, Vados. If they truly destroyed their
universe, along with the Supreme Kai of that universe, shouldn’t the Destroyer Vinasa be dead? Or
if Malaki has really turned evil, shouldn’t he be erased?”

“No, I’m afraid not,” answered Vados. “It is believed that after fusing, they somehow gained
access to the Super Dragon Balls. Whatever wish they made has protected them from such
consequences.”

Champa panicked, “And they destroyed all of Universe 13? That’s the one of the strongest
universes!”

“Yes,” Vados replied. “But, as this is no mortal issue, the Grand Priest was announcing that the
angels will be permitted to engage in combat, if we so desire.”

Listening in on Champa and Vados’s conversation, Beerus then turned toward Whis, “Are you
ready for this, Whis?”

“Of course, Lord Beerus." Whis paused, a frown beginning to form on his usually calm and
collected face, “Although, I fear that the two of us alone will not be enough to save our universe
from this Angelic God of Destruction.”
Chapter 9

CHAPTER 9

The two Saiyans sat together on Vegeta’s bed, but it wasn’t quite as fun as Goku had imagined. All
he wanted to do was grab his crush by the face and pull him in for a deep kiss. Instead he sat up
against the headboard awkwardly, twiddling his thumbs in boredom as Vegeta sat on the side of
the bed scrolling through his phone.

“Hey, ‘Geta?”

“Hmmm?”

“Do you want to do something?”

“No.”

Goku looked down, “Well, could we eat? I’m starving.”

Vegeta rolled his eyes, though he did find his stomach was feeling empty as well. Still, he wanted
to stay on his phone. Scrolling endlessly helped distract him from the intrusive thoughts of what he
and the Saiyan beside him could be doing instead.

Frustrated, Goku frowned, thinking of how else to get Vegeta’s attention. Oh, I know. A sinister
grin crept onto his face. He lifted his arm up, aiming his palm to the side. Without warning, he shot
out a blast of energy at the smaller Saiyan.

Vegeta gasped, dropping his phone to the floor and instantly raising his hand to block the surge of
energy barreling toward him.

“KAKAROT! What the hell is wrong with you?!”

“I wanted you to get off your phone.”

Vegeta blinked. Is he serious? He almost demolished my house because I’m on my phone? Though
he wanted to be mad, a hint of amusement rose on his face, and he jumped to his feet. “I guess
we’ll get some training in after all,” he smirked, “But no energy blasts in my house.”

Goku smiled, feeling much more confident in his abilities now that his mind was clear. Vegeta
launched himself fists first at the larger Saiyan, but with Goku’s newfound determination, he was
ready for his attack. Powering up to his Ultra Instinct Sign form, he caught Vegeta’s bulging bicep
in one hand. He used his free hand to scoop Vegeta up off the floor, tossing him onto the bed.
Vegeta was quickly overpowered and Goku jumped on top of him, holding him in an armlock.
With a smirk on his face, he released Vegeta’s arm, knowing the smaller Saiyan would allow his
bones to break before tapping out.

Even after letting go, he remained laying on top of Vegeta, straddling him while looking down into
his eyes. His heart pounded as he watched his crush struggle beneath him, and he began to breathe
heavily as he powered back down to his base form.

“Tch, I guess your little mental health crisis has been resolved then,” Vegeta rolled his eyes,
looking away. “Now get off of me,” he commanded, pushing his palms against Goku’s chest. But
as he locked eyes with him, his muscles began to relax under the larger Saiyan. He could sense
what Goku wanted to do, but he could also see a sudden wave of apprehension wash over Goku’s
face.

Goku began to feel nauseous as endless thoughts of fear swirled in his mind. His hands grew
sweaty as they pushed into the bed. There he was, mounted on top of his crush, in his crush’s bed,
and yet he couldn’t figure out his next move. Now what? I made it this far, but… what if this isn’t
what he wants?

Vegeta sighed as if he could hear Goku’s thoughts, and decided to take matters into his own hands.
His fingers curled around Goku’s shirt. He hesitated for only a moment before pulling him by the
shirt downward, closing the small distance between their lips.

A burst of red exploded across both of their cheeks as their lips pressed together. Vegeta wrapped
his arms behind Goku’s neck, tightening his grip and pulling him in even closer.

Goku groaned in ecstasy at the feeling of Vegeta’s massive arms around him and his hand gently
stroking his hair. He put a hand on Vegeta’s cheek, caressing his face and deepening the kiss.
Instincts took over as he ran his tongue across his lips, sliding it into his mouth. Vegeta responded
instantly, meeting his tongue with his mate’s.

Their hearts were pounding as they kissed passionately, pulling away only for a quick breath. Goku
used this opportunity to gently brush his lips across Vegeta’s neck. The soft kissing rapidly turned
into fervent sucking, and Vegeta could no longer hold in his moaning as a warm sensation rushed
through his body. He gripped onto Goku’s arms and began to squirm, growing impatient by the
uncontrollable throbbing of his lower region.

Goku was also feeling the heat, his cock growing harder as it rubbed against Vegeta’s pelvis. He
moved his lips off of his neck, and grasped Vegeta by the chin. Their hearts fluttered and faces
flushed red as they gazed into each other’s eyes. They breathed heavily, unable to look away.

Though he didn’t want to stop, he found himself confused. He pulled Vegeta’s face up toward him
for one final kiss before letting go and crawling off of him. Vegeta sat up, face still red through his
puzzled expression.

“Hey, ‘Geta… I-I’m a little… confused.”

Vegeta’s heart began racing. What? Don’t tell me he’s backing out of this now. He raised a brow,
unable to speak.

Goku continued, “Well… when I was with Chi-Chi, and I got hard like this,” he gestured
downward, “Well… we would have sex. And since I’ve been single, whenever it happens I usually
just grab on and take care of it myself.” He took a breath, looking up at his mate, “But I don’t
know how it works with… us.”

Hearing this, Vegeta let out a sigh while throwing his head back in frustration, “Seriously,
Kakarot?” He smacked his hands against his face and grumbled, “I can’t believe I’m dating such an
absolute moron.”

Dating? Did he just say dating? "Dating, huh?” Goku poked at him. “I didn’t realize that’s what
this was,” he grinned. He then reached for his phone, eagerly unlocking it, “This is great! Bulma
has been texting me all day asking why we were on the Nimbus together. Now I can finally-”

Vegeta smacked Goku’s phone from his hands, “You will tell no one, and I mean absolutely no
one, any details about whatever this is that we’re doing.”
“Dating.”

“Yes dammit, dating, whatever. But listen to me, you will not tell anyone about this. Does the
working half of your brain understand what I’m telling you?”

“Well, yeah Vegeta, I understand what you’re saying but, I don’t really understand why.” He
rubbed his head as if trying to think, “Why do you care what anyone else thinks?”

“I don’t,” Vegeta snapped.

Goku softly smiled at his mate, knowing it would take him some time to adjust.

The two laid in bed together that night. Vegeta rested on his back with his arms behind his head,
while Goku slept beside him, his head resting on the smaller Saiyan’s chest and arm wrapped
around him. The rhythm of Vegeta’s heartbeat played in Goku’s ear, while the warm embrace of
Goku’s arm comforted Vegeta. They fell asleep together with smiles on their faces, blissfully
undisturbed by the malevolent events taking place in the multiverse.

CHAPTER 10

The next morning, Vegeta sent Goku home despite his many protests. He needed time alone.

Dating? I used the word dating? And that kiss? What was that? He closed his eyes as his hand
drifted down his pants. His cock had been aching since their flight on the Nimbus the day before,
and he couldn’t put it off any longer.

His mind was racing with memories of how passionate and lustful his kiss with Goku was. The
way Goku’s hand felt against his cheek. How firm his chest was against his palms. His locks of
hair weaving perfectly between his fingers. Their tongues swirling together just before Goku
sucked on his neck.

Vegeta's body sank further into the bed as he went harder. His mind pictured the way Goku was
straddling him and instinctively grinding his hips. His hard cock rubbing up against him. Vegeta
grunted as his eyes clenched shut, cum shooting out and squirting across his shirt.

After cleaning himself up, he remembered Goku’s moment of confusion. “But I don’t know how it
works with… us,” and he quickly realized that even though he’d called Goku a moron, in reality he
truly didn’t know either. He pulled out his phone, determined to learn.

--

“Vegeta?” Goku blinked, staring at his mate now standing in his doorway. “I didn’t know you
were coming over.”

“Is that a problem?” Vegeta raised a brow.

“N-no,” Goku said, his eyes quickly shifting to the side.

“Are you hiding something in there?” Vegeta asked, pushing his way into Goku’s apartment. He
quickly understood Goku’s hesitation as he scanned the messy room before him. “Kakarot… how
do you live like this?”

Goku’s face turned red, “I uh… I guess cleaning is the one thing you can beat me at.”

Vegeta dropped his bag on the ground, shaking his head in disbelief and disappointment.

“What’s in the bag, ‘Geta? Are you staying here today?”

“I… I was planning on it, but… Kakarot, we’re cleaning this place up.”

Even though chores were his least favorite thing, Goku would be lying if he said he wasn’t having
fun cleaning with his mate. They stood side by side, doing each task together. And Goku found
every opportunity to brush his hand against Vegeta, or wrap his arm around his waist.

As Vegeta rinsed the last dish in the sink, Goku crept up behind him, gently wrapping his arms
across his chest and hugging him from behind. He nestled his face against Vegeta’s hair, and
pushed his body against Vegeta’s backside. Vegeta could instantly feel Goku’s hardened member
rubbing up against him.
“K-Kakarot… I’m trying to clean,” he stammered.

Goku put his lips behind Vegeta’s ear, lowering his voice, “We haven’t cleaned my bedroom yet.”
Vegeta’s knees began to buckle, his effort to satisfy himself this morning completely wasted.
Pleased with his mate’s reaction, Goku spun him around, pushing him back against the counter,
their bodies pressing together.

Looking up into his eyes, Vegeta ran his fingers down Goku’s shoulders, across his biceps, and
eventually finding his hands. He grabbed one hand and put it to his groin, letting his mate feel how
hard he’d gotten.

“Let’s go clean it then,” he responded.

The two pushed into Goku’s room, gripping onto each other tightly as they pressed their faces
together in desperation. Vegeta laid down on Goku’s bed, eagerly awaiting for his mate to join
him. Goku climbed on top, preparing to dive deep.

“Oh, look at you two together. So cute!”

The two Saiyans jolted from the unexpected voice. They jumped to their feet, turning to the
bedroom door to find Whis standing there, waving at them with a smile.

Vegeta wanted to yell, to let his rage take over, but he couldn’t find his voice. Humiliation did not
begin to describe what he was feeling.

Whis cleared his throat, his grin disappearing, “I do apologize for interrupting your… display of
affection, but there is a rather pressing issue at hand.”

The Saiyans and Whis arrived on Beerus’s planet after getting caught up to speed on the impending
disaster.

“Goku,” Whis started, “You and I will need to have some one-on-one training to return your Ultra
Instinct technique to its peak form. It has been quite a while since you’ve required the use of this
technique in battle, and I presume some direction will be required to compensate for that lost time.”

“Right,” Goku agreed.

“I just hope that your head is clearer now. It seems that your issue has been resolved, hasn’t it?”
Whis grinned, shifting his eyes toward Vegeta. Vegeta grumbled, face completely flushed. “In all
seriousness though,” he continued, “We are faced with an extensive workload, and regrettably,
time is not on our side."

“Hmmm” Goku hummed, “If we need more time, we could try the time chamber at Kami’s
lookout on Earth,” he suggested.

“No, I’m afraid that idea will not work,” Whis explained, “That chamber does not have the
necessary structure to withstand the level of power that you and I will require to wield in order to
exchange blows to our fullest extent. However,” he placed a hand on his chin, “We may be able to
use the chamber located in the null realm.”

“There’s another chamber there? I thought the point of the null realm was that it was meant to be
empty.” Vegeta questioned.

“Nearly empty, “ Whis corrected. “And yes, there is one… possibly. I stumbled upon it roughly 20
million years ago, but chances are good that it still exists today. Locating it using my staff will
require some time, but it would be a great deal of help if we could find it.”

“I’m confused,” Goku said, “What’s the difference between the one on Earth and the one in some
other realm?"

Whis cleared his throat, “Unlike the chamber on Earth, this particular chamber has the ability to
tolerate an immense influx of energy without faltering.”

“That’s awesome!” Goku exclaimed, “One whole year of training in there should make us way
more powerful than that angel destroyer!”

“Not quite,” Whis interjected, interrupting the larger Saiyan’s celebration. “There is one other
difference between the chamber in the null realm and the one on Earth. The passage of time
operates differently. While a single day in the outside world corresponds to one year in Earth’s
chamber, it equates to merely one week within the null realm’s chamber. And because we cannot
know how much time we have until the imminent attack, we cannot predict how long we have to
prepare.”

Goku’s eyes lowered as he considered the magnitude of the situation, “Okay…” he said, “but still,
the more time the better.”

Beerus nodded in agreement, and then turned to Vegeta, “And as for you, Vegeta, you and I will be
training together here while we guard our universe. We will also be training alongside Shin.”

Goku looked over, confused, “Shin? The Supreme Kai? Why would he need to train for this fight?”

A long sigh fell out of Beerus’s mouth before explaining, “Because if you recall , the Supreme Kai
and I are a matched set. If he were to be killed by this fused monstrosity, then I would be too. We
need to ensure that he is protected at all costs.”

“Correct,” Whis chimed in, “And I suspect that the first target of this fusion will indeed be the
Supreme Kai.” He shifted his gaze to the larger Saiyan, “Goku, would you be so kind as to fetch
the Supreme Kai while I search for the chamber?”

“Of course,” Goku said as he planted two fingers on his forehead, searching for the energy of the
Supreme Kai. Just as he was poised to teleport, he halted and looked toward Vegeta. Goku smiled
and then vanished, though to the surprise of everyone, he abruptly materialized directly behind
Vegeta’s back. He hastily wrapped his arms around Vegeta’s waist, giving him a tight hug from
behind and a quick peck on the cheek.

“I’ll see you later, ‘Geta,” he whispered just above his mate’s ear in a low, soft voice, before
touching his fingers to his forehead again and teleporting away.

Damn that idiot. Vegeta thought.

Beerus’s eyes grew wide, his jaw dropping, “D-did he just… ?” Beerus stuttered, pointing to a very
red faced Vegeta in disbelief. “Wh-what the hell did I miss?” he stammered.

“Lord Beerus, perhaps we should focus on the issue at hand?” Whis suggested, eyes still intently
focused on searching through his staff.

“You knew about this, didn’t you, Whis? And you didn’t even tell me!” Beerus shouted, flailing
his arms up and down before covering his eyes in shock. After a moment he cleared his throat, and
a sinister grin appeared on his face, “Hey ‘Geta ,’” he said, using air quotes on Vegeta’s new
nickname.
Vegeta snarled, powering up immediately into his Super Saiyan Blue form, “Don’t you dare call
me that, you scum, unless you’re prepared to die.”

“Oh, I’m sorry,” Beerus said with heavy sarcasm. “Only your boyfriend is allowed to call you that,
huh?” he teased. The blue aura surrounding Vegeta exploded, and the sparring session began.

--

“Hi guys!” Goku cheered, emerging spontaneously, “Uh, ‘Geta, you okay?” He asked, peering
down at the smaller Saiyan lying face down, halfway buried in the dirt.

“I… may have hit him too hard,” Beerus snickered as he fed himself another slice of cake.

Goku chuckled, picking up his mate and throwing him over his shoulder, “I’ll go put him in the
guest house to sleep it off. By the way, I brought a few extras with me. Thought they’d be a big
help during the fight.”

“Well, this is a surprise. It’s nice to see you three again,” Whis said with a smile, though his eyes
still did not leave his staff.

Gohan started, “Of course. Piccolo and I wouldn’t miss this fight. Whatever you guys need us to
do, just tell us.”

Beerus tossed his empty plate on the ground next to a small mountain of other empty plates. “Then
why don’t we start? You might want to power up if any of you want an ounce of a shot at going at
it with me,” he said as he smirked at Gohan and Piccolo. “For now, the three of you will work
together to defeat me.”

The landscapes trembled as Piccolo and Gohan powered up in sync, their eyes locked on the
Destroyer God. Shin also tapped into his own hidden power, radiating an electric surge of energy.
Beerus sneered, relishing the exercise ahead.

Goku could feel their ki rising from across the planet as he laid Vegeta onto the bed. He gave him a
short kiss on the forehead, which jolted Vegeta awake. “Kakarot? Wh-what happened? What’s
going on?” Vegeta sat up in a panic, holding his pounding head tightly with both hands.

“Lay back down and take this,” Goku said softly, feeding his mate a Senzu bean. “I know you’ll
feel better after this, but you must’ve taken a really hard punch to go out like that. You should rest
for a bit.”

“There’s no way I’m going to let you get training in while I lay in bed,” Vegeta scoffed.

“Okay, okay. What if I stay here with you while you rest?” Goku suggested, “Whis is still
searching for the time chamber anyway, so I won’t be missing any training. Let’s stay here until
you’ve recovered. Thirty minutes tops, I promise.” He smiled.

Vegeta rolled his eyes, but laid back down on his back, arms resting behind his head. Goku took
the opportunity to lay down by Vegeta’s side, resting his head on the smaller Saiyan’s chest and
intertwining their legs. Goku nestled his head on Vegeta’s chest and gently rubbed his hand on and
around his mate’s chest and belly. He found himself moving his lips towards Vegeta’s neck, softly
kissing it. His hand started going lower down Vegeta’s belly, and eventually onto his lower region.

He let out a light groan, “K-Kakarot, I need to tell you something.” Eyes closed and face turning
crimson red, he continued, “I didn’t just bring a change of clothes in that bag that I brought to your
house. There’s… there’s something else in there too.”
“Oh, really?” Goku asked, eyeing the bag that now rested by the bedside, “Is it something to eat?”

Vegeta smacked his hands across his face, “No, you idiot. Not everything is about food.”

Goku chuckled as they both sat up, “Well let’s see it then, 'Geta.”

A little smut to add some spice

CHAPTER 11

“What is it?” Goku asked curiously, holding up the strange bottle of liquid.

“It’s… agh do I really have to say it? Just read the bottle dammit!” Vegeta snapped, crossing his
arms across his chest and looking away.

Goku looked at Vegeta, then turned the bottle sideways to read the label, “Hmmm… Luuh-
byyy…” He turned his head, “‘Geta, what’s Luh-by?”

This idiot I swear I’m going to kill him. “It’s LUBE, you idiot.”

“Ohhh, wow I didn’t know that. That’s cool!” Goku cheered.

Vegeta let out a sigh in disappointment, “You don’t know what lube is, do you, Kakarot?”

“Uh… no,” Goku admitted, rubbing the back of his neck with a nervous smile on his face. “What’s
it for?”

Frustrated, Vegeta groaned, “How could you possibly be interested in having sex with another
man, and not have the sense to do some research on it first?”

A laugh erupted from Goku, “Oh, it’s for sex?” After a moment though, his facial expression
changed; his smile vanished and his heart skipped two beats, “Wait… so you… did research on
that before coming over to my house? You thought we’d… have sex?”

Before Vegeta could even react, Goku grasped him by the face and pulled him in for a deep kiss.
He smiled as their lips clashed together, tugging at his mate’s armor and top to pull them off over
his head. Vegeta followed Goku’s lead and lifted the shirt off of his mate. He could feel the
warmth radiating off of Goku’s bare chest.

I can’t believe I’m doing this, he thought as he placed his palms on Goku’s chest, gently nudging
him away. He’d seen Goku shirtless more times than he could count, but he’d never stopped to
really appreciate the view. Without thinking, he began tracing his hands along Goku’s chest,
feeling his muscular pecs. His fingers trailed across his protruding abs, and onto his waist.

As they sat together on the edge of the bed, Goku looked down at his mate. The feeling of
Vegeta’s fingers running across his skin made him tremble. He’d waited for so long to feel his
touch. He raised one hand to cup Vegeta’s face, caressing his neck and rubbing his thumb along
his jawline.

Vegeta felt a tightness in his stomach and chest as they pressed their mouths together again. The
soft brush of their lips became desperate, and his body ached for more. He dropped his hands down
to undo Goku’s pants, sliding them off and dropping them to the floor.

“So eager, aren’t you?” Goku purred in a low voice before yanking his mate off of the bed, and
shoving him onto his knees before him. “Here, try this,” Goku rose to his feet, sliding his boxers
onto the floor.

Wide eyed, Vegeta stared at the surprising length and girth of the hardened cock now within his
gaze. The larger Saiyan wrapped his hand behind Vegeta’s head to nudge him closer, gently
stroking his hair. A burst of anxiety surged through his body as he prepared himself, his flushed
face heating the room, but he submitted to his lover’s command.

Wrapping his hands around Goku’s hardened cock, he began stroking him slowly. Goku groaned,
running his fingers through Vegeta’s hair. He couldn’t help but begin thrusting the tip into
Vegeta’s warm, wet mouth. Vegeta responded enthusiastically, sticking his tongue out to swirl
around his throbbing cock, causing Goku to grunt with each breath. He looked down to watch as
his mate swallowed more of him.

Vegeta met his gaze, smirking at the redness and expression of lust covering his face. He let out a
chuckle, and the vibrations in his throat caused Goku to moan uncontrollably.

Panting, the larger Saiyan could feel himself getting close. He quickly pulled himself away with a
groan. “I-I think that’s enough for now,” he stammered nervously. He peered downward, “Let’s
see what I can do to help you out now.”

Goku lifted Vegeta off the ground and tossed him onto the bed. Without hesitation, he dove
between Vegeta’s legs. He shredded the remainder of Vegeta’s clothing before spreading his legs
apart, planting himself down in between them. He grinned as he wrapped his lips around the head
of the smaller Saiyan’s member, slowly licking down the shaft. Vegeta gasped and instinctively
thrusted his hips toward Goku’s mouth, but Goku didn’t allow him the pleasure. Vegeta squirmed
and whined from the teasing.

The teasing and sucking continued until Vegeta was about to burst from excitement, “K-Kakarot…
you… need to stop,” Vegeta stammered.

Goku instantly jerked backwards, eyes wide with concern. “Are you okay, Vegeta? Did I do
something wrong?”

“N-no. I just… if you kept going I…” Vegeta shifted his weight around, face beginning to turn red.
“I didn’t want to finish…”

Chuckling, Goku sat up, his Saiyan pride showing in his smile. I can’t believe I almost drove him
over the edge like that. Let’s see what else I can do.

And with that thought, Goku laid on top of Vegeta, pressing their chests together. His lover eagerly
reciprocated, grabbing Goku by the waist and pressing him even closer as their kiss turned even
more heated, tongues intertwining. Vegeta’s cock began throbbing as he felt Goku grinding his
hips against him, rubbing them together.

Goku pulled away to reach for the bottle of lube that he was holding earlier, coating his fingers
before lying back down between his mate’s legs. Before starting again, he hesitated, “Um… hey
‘Geta?”

“Hmmm?”

He stared at his fingers intently before looking up, “I… I don’t want it to hurt you.”
Face turning red, Vegeta looked away, “I-I did some… preparations… before coming over to your
house.”

“Preparations?”

Frustrated, the smaller Saiyan snapped, crossing his arms, “Just ease into it and I’ll be fine!”

“Okay, okay!” Goku exclaimed before looking back down. He rubbed his mate’s inner thigh,
helping him relax as he circled his fingers around the entrance. He nudged his cheek against
Vegeta’s cock before swallowing it again. He began teasing his mate, only using the tip of his
finger to penetrate him. In desperation, Vegeta moved his hips, forcing his finger to go deeper.
Goku paid close attention to the body language of his partner, continuing on with the rhythm, and
sucking on his cock intently. He played with him from the inside, adding another finger to the
game upon Vegeta's request. And then one more.

“Fuck ,” Vegeta cried out, his body quivering as Goku pressed inside, humming around his cock.

Sensing that his mate was ready, Goku pulled away, “I’m gonna take you now, okay ‘Geta?”

Unable to speak, Vegeta could only nod. He immediately felt Goku’s cock press against his
entrance. He held onto the sheets tightly, though trying to stay relaxed, as Goku slowly pushed the
tip against him. Goku followed the same pattern as he did with his fingers before, circling his cock
around just before entering the tip. He ran his hands up and down Vegeta’s chest and sides, helping
him relax in order to adjust to his size.

Finally, he could sense that his mate was ready, and he gently began thrusting, the lube dripping
down from his cock. He put just a bit more of himself in until he could hit Vegeta’s sensitive spot
on the way in and out, opting to not use his full length. He paid close attention to the movements of
his mate, slowly increasing his pace.

Vegeta could feel himself building up as Goku thrusted with the rhythm of his hips. The muscles in
his legs tensed and he could feel the tingling sensation within him start to grow uncontrollably. He
urgently grasped his hand around his aching cock, stroking himself. Goku swiped his hand away,
taking over for him.

“Ugh, stop…” Vegeta pleaded, burying his face in his hands. “I’m gonna… cum…”

Goku smirked, looking down, “Me too.”

Vegeta moaned, seeing flashes of light as Goku’s grip tightened around his dick. He knew he was
really close.

“You’re doing a great job taking my cock, ‘Geets,” Goku teased as he pumped faster.

Vegeta couldn’t take it anymore. He grasped Goku’s hand, stroking himself with it harder until his
cum shot upwards, spilling onto both of their chests. In sync, Goku grunted, gripping his hips and
digging his nails into Vegeta as he came too. An enormous sigh escaped his lips as he collapsed on
top of his mate. The two lovers were shuddering and trembling, unable to move from their position
on the bed.

It took several minutes for them to catch their breath before they could get up. After the two
cleaned themselves up, they rested in the bed together, snuggling up against each other.

“Hey ‘Geta…” Goku started, his voice trailing off.

“What?”

“I-I’m not really good at this type of thing. I really want to know how you’re feeling.”

“You tell me first,” Vegeta insisted, raising a brow.

Goku paused, blushing as he looked his mate in the eyes. He'd waited so long to confess his true
feelings to his mate, and after what they'd just done, he felt more confident than ever to share his
thoughts. “I… feel like… I love you.”

Vegeta’s lips parted, eyebrows raising as he contemplated what his former rival just confessed to
him. It was dead silent in the room. I can’t say it back. It’s too… It's too humiliating to admit. He’ll
understand why I can’t say it, right?

At that moment, a knock on their door interrupted their conversation. “Goku?” Whis called from
outside.

CHAPTER 12

“The null realm? An interesting choice,” the Grand Priest smiled, a hand raised to his chin.

“We’re ready to be transported,” Whis stated into his staff, communicating with his father.

“Wait!” Vegeta called out, running out of the house toward the group.

Everyone stopped to look up at the shorter Saiyan running toward them. He looked up at Goku,
who in turn looked away.

“Kakarot, here,” he said, holding out a small device, “It’s an intergalactic phone. Bulma made one
for you and one for me. We can talk while you’re gone.”

Goku looked up at him, though the pain was still set on his face from his rejection. He let out a
sigh, gently taking the phone from Vegeta’s hand without a word.

Whis watched the interaction before turning back to his staff, “Alright then. Now we are ready.”

And with that, the Grand Priest zapped him and Goku out of their universe and into the null realm
where the iconic Tournament of Power was once held.

As the two traveled through the realm heading toward their destination, Goku’s mind swirled with
anguished thoughts, unable to escape their relentless grip. Why didn't he say it back? He pondered,
realizing that perhaps his affection for Vegeta was unrequited. It’s okay. For now, I need to focus
on myself and my training.

“Hmmm,” Whis pondered, "It seems we were not the only ones to seek out this time chamber."

“What do you mean?” Goku asked, “Is that bad?”

Whis tilted his head, contemplating, “It means that there are others here as well, Goku. But this
might prove to be advantageous for us.”

As they entered, the pure white background stretched on for eternity. In the distance, Goku felt the
energy of some familiar friends. To the right, he could sense Vados, Lord Champa, Caulifla, and
Kale. To the left, the ki that he sensed peaked his attention and brightened his day - his most
powerful rival during the Tournament of Power.

“Jiren is here, too!” Goku exclaimed.

“That’s correct. It appears he is here along with the angel and Destroyer God of the 11th Universe,
Marcarita and Lord Belmond,” Whis replied.
“Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!” Goku cheered, ready to dash over to the group to greet Jiren.
He was only stopped by the tight grip pulling him back by the top of his gi.

“I understand you are eager, Goku, but we have a lot of ground to cover together before you try
sparring with anyone else. Let’s find an empty space and begin.”

Meanwhile on Beerus’s planet, the grounds quaked as Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, and Shin ventured
on this extraordinary challenge. Their eyes met the serene gaze of Lord Beerus, radiating an aura of
formidable power.

Now in the air, Vegeta launched himself forward, his Saiyan pride fueling his determination. His
muscles tensed, and his Super Saiyan Blue aura blazed with intensity. Gohan moved in sync with
him, his hidden potential coursing through his veins as his Mystic aura beamed off of him. Piccolo
exuded a calm yet fierce demeanor, ready to unleash his strategic brilliance. And Shin, with his
divine presence, offered guidance and support.

Lord Beerus grinned mischievously. With a casual flick of his wrist, energy crackled in the air,
blasting the oncomers across the training grounds.

Vegeta propelled himself forward, executing a barrage of punches and kicks at the God of
Destruction. Each strike carried the weight of his pride and decades of training. However, Beerus
effortlessly evaded Vegeta's attacks, his movements fluid and graceful, as if dancing through the
chaos.

Gohan charged forward, his fists radiating raw power. He unleashed a flurry of blows, aiming to
impress his mentor, Piccolo, and prove his growth. Yet, Beerus swayed and weaved, his
movements defying logic, countering Gohan's strikes with minimal effort. Gohan gritted his teeth,
refusing to yield.

Piccolo, the strategic tactician, assessed the situation, analyzing Beerus' movements. With
precision and finesse, he unleashed a series of energy blasts, attempting to catch the God of
Destruction off guard. But Beerus, with a snap of his fingers, deflected the attacks effortlessly, his
calm demeanor never wavering.

The Supreme Kai observed the battle, his eyes focused and calculating. Sensing an opening, he
channeled his divine energy, conjuring ethereal chains of light to bind Beerus momentarily. It was
a brief respite, allowing the warriors to regroup and plan their next move.

Seizing the opportunity, Vegeta powered up further, his aura exploding into a blinding blue
inferno. With a thunderous roar, he unleashed his Final Flash, a colossal beam of energy that tore
through the air, hurtling towards Beerus with unstoppable force. But the God of Destruction, with a
great look of indifference, waved his hand, dispersing the attack into dust. With a swift motion, he
unleashed a devastating shockwave, sending the warriors hurtling halfway across the planet.

“Vegeta,” Gohan started as they rose up from the ground, “I have an idea, but I have a feeling you
won’t like it.”

The smaller Saiyan turned to Gohan, his jaw clenched tightly. “What is it?” He didn’t like the idea
of taking battle advice from a bookworm, and even worse, from Goku’s son.

Gohan swapped gazes between Vegeta and Shin, “Well, I was thinking we could try fusion.
Together I think we’d have a better chance against Lord Beerus,” he suggested.

“No way! No way in hell would I ever-”

“You might want to consider this, Vegeta,” Piccolo interjected, “You know you will never defeat
Beerus on your own. Think about it, if we can’t even touch Beerus, how are we going to fight this
other monster?”

Vegeta’s fists quivered by his sides. His posture grew rigid, as if an invisible force weighed heavily
upon his shoulders. I know that they’re right, he thought to himself, despite how desperately he
didn’t want to admit it. “Fine!” he uttered as he reached out his hand to Shin. The Supreme Kai
responded with a nod, quickly taking off his Potara earrings and handing each one to the Saiyans
beside him.

A brilliant surge of energy enveloped Gohan and Vegeta, intertwining their auras in a mesmerizing
dance. Their bodies blurred and distorted, merging into a singular being - a fusion born from the
union of their indomitable spirits. Standing tall in the aftermath, a new warrior emerged, donned in
a fusion attire that blended elements of both Gohan and Vegeta's iconic appearances. His hair, a
striking blend of spiky obsidian and vibrant onyx, stood on end, embodying their combined
strength.

Vegihan’s eyes shimmered with a fierce determination. A surge of newfound power coursed
through his veins, electrifying his every movement. He raised his arms, a seamless blend of
Gohan's grace and Vegeta's calculated precision. The air itself seemed to bend to his will as he
prepared to face their adversary.

With a sudden burst of speed, Vegihan vanished, leaving behind only an ethereal afterimage. He
reappeared before the stunned God of Destruction, his movements fluid and unpredictable, striking
with the might of both Gohan and Vegeta's combined techniques. He let out an enormous battle cry
before charging at Beerus head on, arrogantly confident that this new form could destroy the
Destroyer.
Chapter 13

CHAPTER 13

After 15 days in the outside world, or just over 3 months in the hyperbolic time chamber, the brutal
training between universe 7’s greatest hero and the mighty angel had finally bore fruit.

Surrounded by Caulifla, Kale, Jiren, Lord Champa, and Lord Belmond, Goku stood at the center,
the epitome of serene composure. His eyes closed, a tranquil expression etched upon his face, he
seemed untouched by the turmoil surrounding him. With each breath, he found solace in the
stillness within.

His senses heightened, he honed the astounding power of his Mastered Ultra Instinct technique,
effortlessly perceiving the surges and ripples of power emanating from his adversaries. Like an
ancient tree rooted deep in the earth, he stood firm, grounded by an unshakable presence. He held
his hands up in his familiar fighting position, determined to keep his eyes closed during the
imminent battle.

On one side, Caulifla and Kale threw on their Potara earrings, quickly morphing into the fusion
known as Kefla. After the flash of light dissipated, she bellowed as she moved swiftly across the
battlefield. She threw punches and kicks at the Saiyan, leaving trails of energy in her wake as she
sought to overpower Goku with her overwhelming might. To no avail however, as every one of her
blows was instantly dodged by Goku. Kefla’s eyes grew in shock, Even after all of my training, I
can’t even lay a finger on him. How powerful could he have gotten since we last fought?

Jiren, the stoic and powerful warrior from Universe 11, stood tall, his gaze unwavering. Without
hesitation, he launched himself at the Saiyan, deftly evading Kefla's swift onslaught. With an
almost imperceptible shift, Goku moved with absolute precision, his body flowing effortlessly side
to side, avoiding Jiren’s attacks with a dance-like grace.

Meanwhile, Lord Champa took to the air to unleash his fury, channeling his divine energy. With a
mere flick of his fingers, he sent shockwaves rippling through the air, testing Goku's defenses and
challenging his stamina.

Floating mid-air opposite to him, Lord Belmond exuded an air of unruffled confidence. His calm
demeanor belied the immense power he possessed. With a wave of his hand, he summoned arcane
energy, manipulating it in an attempt to bind Goku.

Goku detected this energy instinctively, and amidst the hectic storm, he remained the calm center,
leaving his adversaries in awe. With unshaken composure, he intercepted the colossal surge of
energy hurled directly at him from Belmond, and swiftly smacked it away using the back of his
hand, sending it flying across the chamber with equal force.

In the seam of this chaos, Whis and Vados observed the battle, their eyes flickering with a mix of
curiosity and intrigue. They scrutinized each movement, analyzing the fighters' strategies, and
silently marveling at the sheer magnitude of power unleashed upon the field. The two angels
exchanged glances, a knowing smile gracing their lips as they observed the battle unfolding before
them.

At his first opportunity, Goku used one hand to pull Kefla out of the air, grabbing her by the ankle
as she was moved in for an attack. His fingers tightened around her, veins bulging on his arm as he
swung her around in circles, swiftly ducking under the fierce punches coming from Jiren. He used
Kefla’s body as a weapon to ram Jiren in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him and rendering
Kefla unconscious. With Goku’s free hand, he simultaneously managed to sneak in five precise and
powerful blows to Jiren’s head, knocking any consciousness out of Jiren's body before throwing
them both out of the battlefield.

As the only two remaining, Lord Champa and Lord Belmond locked eyes with Goku, fully
prepared to unleash their devastating attack together. The destructive energy crackled around them,
swirling and coalescing into an unstoppable force. Goku, ever determined, readied himself for the
imminent clash. He finally opened his eyes, a smile of anticipation spreading across his face.

As the tension reached its peak, Lord Champa and Lord Belmond, their expressions unwavering,
slowly raised a hand towards Goku in unison. The very fabric of reality seemed to tremble under
their command as they channeled their divine energy, preparing to unleash the full force of their
Hakai upon Goku. Sensing the imminent danger, Goku braced himself, his muscles coiled, ready
to react.

Just as Lord Champa and Lord Belmond were about to unleash their assault, a sudden interruption
broke the deadlock. Whis and Vados intervened, their voices calm but authoritative. They urged
restraint, reminding the Gods of Destruction of the importance of maintaining balance and
avoiding unnecessary destruction, especially during a sparring match. As the Gods prepared to
lower their arms, Goku interjected.

“No!“ Goku urged, “Let them give it all they’ve got! If I can’t fight them like this, I don’t stand a
chance against the real enemy that’s coming.”

Reluctantly, the Angels looked at each other before stepping backward, allowing the fight to
continue.

Goku locked eyes with the Gods in front of him and smirked, “Besides,” he challenged, “They
won’t be able to use it on me if they can’t even manage to hit me.”

--

Marcarita returned to the time chamber, clearing her throat to halt the ongoing battle taking place in
front of her. Goku and the Destroyer Gods immediately turned their heads to the left, powering
down to listen to her announcement.

“I have just spoken to the Grand Priest,” she announced, “And he’s given me an update on the
status of our universes. In the time that we have been in here, this angelic God of Destruction,
Milasna, has destroyed Universes 1, 3, 5, 8, and 12.”

“What?!” Champa yelled, “That’s one universe destroyed every three days! Impossible!”

“I’m afraid not, Lord Champa,” Vados turned toward the Destroyer, “With Milasna’s immense
power due to the fusion, it’s not hard to believe how quickly he could destroy a universe.
Especially if he targets the Supreme Kais first.”

Whis nodded in agreement, “Yes. Though I must say, it is rather surprising that he went on to
destroy the most powerful universes first. He’s picked them off one by one, and now the universes
with the weakest average mortal level remain. I’m afraid the rest of the universes simply do not
stand a chance now.”

Caulifla turned to Whis, eyebrows furrowing, “How can you say that!?” She yelled, “You don’t
even seem bothered by it,” she accused, crossing her arms over her chest and peering her eyes to
the side.

Whis remained calm in his response, “Of course I don’t want our universes to be destroyed.”

“But of course, we will be fine,” Marcarita interjected with a smile.

Scratching his head and raising a brow, Goku questioned, “What do you mean by that? Who will
be fine?”

Letting out a sigh and turning to Goku, Marcarita explained, “I’m surprised you don’t know this
already, Saiyan. The angels will be fine. We are immortal, so we cannot die. We can be erased by
the Grand Priest or the Omni King of course, but that’s the only way to wipe us out of existence.”

“Oh, that’s right,” Goku responded, contemplating what he’d just heard.

“So then why are you here? Why do you all care what happens?” Jiren crossed his arms, glaring at
the three angels before him.

“It seems we are the only angels that care to join the fight,” Whis answered. “Or at least, the only
ones that thought to come here to train.”

“Hey wait a sec,” Goku tilted his head, a lightbulb flickering over his head, “Why don’t we just
ask Zenny to destroy this Milasna guy?”

“Zenny?” Marcarita questioned, “Oh, you mean the Omni King. Well, that’s the other thing, “
Marcarita explained, looking over at the Saiyan, “The Grand Priest has informed me that Grand
Zeno does not want to interfere with the destruction of the universes. He doesn’t mind having
fewer universes to look after now that more have been wished back into existence by that android.
He has also forbidden the Grand Priest from fighting, so forget that idea too.” She turned back to
the group now, “But there’s more information that the Grand Priest has uncovered.”

The group gathered closer as Marcarita shared her findings.

“The angels and Destroyers are well informed of the history of Universe 15, but I will share this
information with the mortals. Many million years ago, Universe 15 had quite the track record for
causing trouble in the multiverse. The previous God of Destruction and angel destroyed Universe
13 after many millennia of animosity. Subsequently, the angel was erased and Grand Zeno made
the decision to erase Universes 13 through 18 in order to decrease the number of universes to watch
over.”

“And now that this is happening once again, it seems the Omni King is letting it play itself out,”
Marcarita continued. “And one last thing, Universe 15 had many planets with a race called
Namekians. I believe you are familiar with the Namekians,” she turned to the three Saiyans.

“Well, we have discovered the wishes that Milasna made on the Namekian Dragon Balls, and the
wish that he made on the Super Dragon Balls as well,” Marcarita continued.

She lifted one finger, “Their first wish was to gain access to the Potaras from their universe’s
Supreme Kai. At that point, the angel and Destroyer used the earrings to fuse. This multiplied their
overall power level by hundreds of times over.”

She raised a second finger, “The next wish was to be brought to the location of the Super Dragon
Balls.”

Marcarita shook her head, “It was with the Super Dragon Balls that the fusion Milasna wished to
free himself from the possibility of being erased for interfering with mortal events.” Her fingers
dropped, and she closed her eyes, “And after that, Milasna used his immense power to destroy the
Super Dragon Balls.”

“He-he destroyed the Super Dragon Balls?!” Goku exclaimed with a shaky voice. His mind raced,
thinking of his family, of his friends, of his universe, and of Vegeta. He wondered how he would
save everyone. Without the Super Dragon Balls, there was no possibility of wishing Milasna away,
or of bringing back all of the destroyed universes.
Chapter 14

CHAPTER 14

Vegihan crash landed into a grove of trees, taking down branches and leaves with him as his body
soared through the thick of the woods. Upon impact, his body uprooted dirt and dust as the effects
of the fusion abruptly ended. The two now separate Saiyans sat in the dirt rubbing their heads and
dusting off their clothes.

“You absolute idiot, you’re wasting all of our time!” Vegeta yelled as he rose to his feet, pointing a
finger at Gohan’s nose. “At least your idiot of a father can last more than 10 minutes in a damn
fight.” He shook his head in disappointment, balling up a fist. “You make me embarrassed to call
myself a Saiyan, which believe me is not an easy thing to do.”

“That’s enough, Vegeta, “ Piccolo interrupted, his brows furrowing, “You know damn well your
fighting hasn’t been at its best these last two weeks either. You’re so wrapped up in your own
personal problems that you can’t even land a punch on Beerus.”

Vegeta grunted. Dammit, I hate when the Namekian is right. I can hardly concentrate on these
sparring matches with that damn Kakarot on my mind. I should have told him that I… I should
have… Wait, how did he know I’m having personal problems? Vegeta thought as he followed
Piccolo and Gohan back toward Beerus.

“Alright you guys,” Shin interrupted, “We’ve been at this for days. Let’s take a break.”

The group nodded in unison before heading for the kitchen. As the three sat around the table,
Vegeta commented repeatedly on Gohan’s weak technique, and how he’d grown soft. Gohan said
nothing, accepting the criticism.

Piccolo, however, wasn’t having it. He cleared his throat, crossing his arms over his chest, “That’s
some big talk for someone who’s too distracted by a little crush to put up a decent fight.”

Wide eyed, Vegeta began stuttering, “Wh-what… what are you-“ until his eyes were met with
Piccolo’s large, twitching ears. He quickly recalled the Namekian’s impeccable sense of hearing.
“You… you heard…”

“Way more than I ever wanted to hear, yes.”

Gohan scratched his head in confusion, looking back and forth between his mentor and the red
faced Vegeta, “Um… Piccolo, what are you guys talking about?”

Vegeta’s face maintained its cherry red condition as he leapt from his chair and pointed at Piccolo,
“Don’t you dare say another word, you ugly green pest!”

“And what’s worse,” Piccolo continued, ignoring the small Saiyan’s threats, “You didn’t even tell
him you loved him back. After everything you too have been through together. You’re worse than
Goku at expressing your feelings.” He rolled his eyes, “And now you’re taking your frustration out
on Gohan.”

Gohan’s shoulders perked up, “My… father?” He turned to Vegeta, “You… and… my dad?”

Vegeta stood frozen in place, unable to form a coherent sentence.

“Ohhhh, so that’s why your sparring has been so terrible,“ Beerus laughed, “You love Goku and
you couldn’t tell him before he left.” He turned his body toward Vegeta, lowering his eyes, “You
coward.”

Damn these idiots. They’re right. I hate that. I hate them. Why can’t I think straight? Is Kakarot
having this much trouble keeping a clear head too? Is this what he was going through for months
before confessing his feelings for me? How am I going to continue fighting like this?

Vegeta thought about Goku, wishing he were with him right now. Wishing he could tell him how
he really felt. Wishing they’d had more time together before Goku left for the time chamber. He’d
sent him half a dozen messages asking how the training was going, but Goku kept his replies short,
simple, and informative only. He knew Goku was hurt by his actions, but he didn’t know what to
do.

The others were talking and eating as Vegeta stood in silence, eyes closed thinking about how
much he’d hurt his mate. After what felt like years, he balled his hands into fists beside him and let
out a sigh, “You’re right,” he said. “All of you are right. But I… I don’t know how to make it up to
him.”

“Well you gave him a phone, didn’t you?” Shin asked.

“Yes, but… this isn’t something I want to send over a text.”

Shin looked up in thought for a moment before announcing, “I have the perfect idea, Vegeta!” A
flick of his fingers and a bright flash of light blinded the heroes.

Once the light had dissipated, Vegeta looked down to see that his attire had completely changed.
Instead of his regular Saiyan warrior armor and jumpsuit, he now wore Goku’s signature orange gi.
Normally, he would be infuriated by such a move, and would chase the Supreme Kai up into space,
but he couldn’t feel anything but proud to wear the uniform of his former rival.

However, his smile was quickly broken by the sudden shift in energy in the cosmos.

“What-what is that?!” Piccolo exclaimed.

Beerus rose from his seat, his muscles tensing, “That must be him.”

--

In the time chamber, a couple of new warriors and their angels joined the mix. Along with our
heroes from Universes 6, 7, and 11, the greatest fighters from Universes 14 and 16 chose to enter
the chamber to train.

“The mortals of Universes 14 and 16 are rather impressive,” Whis stated, turning to the other
angels.

Vados giggled and covered her hand gently on her lips, “Indeed, I’m glad the Destroyer Gods
returned to their own universes, otherwise Lord Champa would be throwing a fit over this.” The
group of angels laughed as they turned their heads to continue spectating the ongoing fight.

She turned to her brother, “Who is that amazing fighter that you’ve brought from Universe 16,
Vermillo?”

“Ah,” the angel responded, “That is Rye, the pupil of the Destroyer God. He has shown promise
with the use of Hakai, though not perfected by any means.” He turned to the angel of Universe 14,
“I’m equally as impressed with the mortal of Universe 14,” he said to Chardonnay.

Chardonnay smiled and nodded, “Yes, Master Senani is quite remarkable. She has been a student
of mine since the recreation of the other universes.”

The training grounds hummed with an electric anticipation as Goku and Master Senani stood back
to back, their eyes alight with determination. Rye and Kefla circled around them, while Jiren soared
high above.

Goku's hair shimmered with a radiant white glow as he showed off his Mastered Ultra Instinct
form, while Master Senani's aura surged with an ethereal brilliance, hinting at her otherworldly
abilities.

Kefla launched herself forward like a comet, her movements a blur as she closed the distance with
Goku. She flew forward and winded her arm back, preparing to unleash a quick series of punches
at the large Saiyan. Each punch and kick she delivered carried the weight of her training, leaving
afterimages in her wake.

Rye followed behind her, sending waves of dark energy blasts at the duo, his stoic expression
unfaltering as he approached the two mortals in the center.

Goku effortlessly dodged every movement of Kefla’s, moving side to side only by mere
millimeters in order to avoid her attacks. He then turned an eye to the five massive balls of energy
that Rye had sent hurtling towards him. Goku maintained perfect eye contact with his new rival
and slowly held up one finger in front of himself. With that single digit, he blocked each and every
energy blast that blew his way.

Vermillo’s jaw dropped, “My word, the power of that mortal in the center is astonishing. His
ability to focus and his instincts are on par with my own. Who is that?”

Whis grinned proudly, “That would be my student, Goku. He’s like no mortal I’ve ever seen.”

Meanwhile, Jiren unleashed his boundless energy. He whirled toward the ground like a tempest, a
dynamic dance of power, engaging Master Senani in a fierce exchange. With a mere snap of his
fingers, he conjured bursts of energy that forced Master Senani to maneuver skillfully, her
movements fluid and effortless like water.

In an attempt to fend off both Kefla and Rye simultaneously, Goku unleashed a tsunami wave of
energy, causing the air in the atmosphere to quiver and bend at his will. This sent Kefla soaring
into the sky, while Rye barreled through the energy.

Despite Rye’s swift and fierce instincts, he was not prepared for the sudden series of jabs being
delivered by Master Senani. She moved her arms at a speed that was nearly intangible even for
Goku, shoving her hands forward in an attempt to incapacitate her opponent.

Just as Jiren spotted another opening, a loud bang of Marcarita’s staff shook the entirety of the null
realm, quickly gaining the attention of all within the chamber and ending their fight.

“The Grand Priest has informed me that Milasna has entered Universe 7. As agreed, we will all go
together to fight him as a team.”

Goku’s heart pounded. He’s already in my universe? He desperately wondered if they’d make it in
time before Milasna found his way to Beerus’s planet. He began to regret not responding to
Vegeta’s recent messages.
Chapter 15

CHAPTER 15

Materializing with a flash, the mortals from the time chamber along with Whis appeared on
Beerus’s planet. The other angels returned to their own universes to fetch their respective Destroyer
Gods. Upon arrival, the individuals in the group instantly shuddered as they felt an immense power
lurking somewhere in the near galaxies.

Gohan stood wide eyed at the sudden influx of energy next to him, “Dad!”

“Hey Gohan! A few fighters from the other universes came along to help out,” he smiled his
signature smile, as he turned toward his new partners in battle. “This is Master Senani from
Universe 14. She can move incredibly fast, even faster than I can.”

The great master bowed her head, her bright red hair reflecting in Gohan’s eyes.

Rye rolled his eyes at all the pleasantries. “Well, I’m just here for some good fighting action,” he
crossed his arms over his chest.

“Rye is incredible!” Goku cheered. “He has the power of a Destroyer God!”

This got Vegeta’s attention from across the forest. The power… of a Destroyer? Who are these
people? Wait… was that… Kakarot speaking? Without thinking, Vegeta launched himself into the
air, eagerly zooming above the trees to see for himself if Goku had returned.

“Kakarot!” he called out from above.

A sudden tightness ran through Goku’s body at the sound of Vegeta’s voice. For the past two
weeks he’d pushed all thoughts of Vegeta out of his mind. Memories flooded back from the day
he’d left. He remembered the way Vegeta’s lips tasted, how his body felt pressed against him as
they made love, and the faces Vegeta made as he thrusted inside of him. He then recalled Vegeta’s
blatant rejection after he’d confessed his love for him.

He wanted to ignore the voice coming up from above, but once his gaze shifted to the sky, his
mind became empty. His jaw dropped, “Vegeta… what are you… are you wearing my clothes?”

Vegeta froze, floating wide eyed. He looked down at his new uniform, and then back towards
Goku, unsure of how to respond.

Piccolo laughed, “He missed you so much, he needed to wear something that reminded him of
you!”

Goku could see the embarrassment on Vegeta’s face. Without thinking, Goku put his two fingers to
his forehead and teleported up to his mate. He didn’t allow Vegeta a chance to react. He quickly
wrapped one large arm around Vegeta’s waist, caressing him tightly so he could fly away with
him.

As the two soared through the sky, seeking privacy, Vegeta looked up at the larger Saiyan holding
onto him tightly.

“Kakarot…”
Goku looked down at his lover before turning back toward the sky ahead of them.

Vegeta blushed, clearing the lump forming in his throat, “Kakarot… I’m sorry.”

Goku’s eyebrows raised. He released his mate, landing on the ground beneath them. Vegeta
followed him, not wanting to lose his touch.

“Gosh Vegeta, I don’t think I’ve ever heard you say that before. But… why?”

Vegeta stood before his mate, his eyes clenched shut and hands balled into tight fists by his sides.
Without opening his eyes, he spoke, “I-I should have said… well… Kakarot, I… love you too. I
wish I’d said it before, but-”

He was interrupted by Goku taking his face into his hands and pushing their lips together. Vegeta
gasped at this unexpected embrace. He responded by gently wrapping his arms behind Goku’s
neck, letting them rest on top of his broad shoulders. Goku could feel the warmth of Vegeta’s skin
under his fingertips, and grasped onto his hips tightly. Vegeta let out a groan in response, enjoying
what he’d been craving for weeks.

Vegeta had spent so many years of his life making enemies, being the villain in other people’s
stories. And over and over again, Goku would show him mercy and forgiveness. He realized now
that this was what it felt like to be loved. He held back tears as he tightened his grip around Goku.

I can’t believe how much I missed this idiot, Vegeta thought as he buried his face into Goku’s
chest. The two could’ve stayed like this for an eternity, but they knew they needed to wrap up this
little meeting to prepare for the imminent battle. Goku pulled away from their embrace, still
holding onto Vegeta’s hips, and looking him up and down.

“I’m so happy to see you, ‘Geta. I missed you.” He placed a finger under his chin, pulling his face
up to kiss him one more time. “By the way, I love your outfit,” he gave a wink before laughing. “I
can’t wait to take it off of you after all this is done.”

“Agh,'' Vegeta's face flushed red, “Shut up, Kakarot, you idiot. Come on, let’s go join the others.”

--

The fabric of space stretched and trembled as the Angel of Destruction made his way towards our
group of heroes.

“Milasna must have sensed the power level here on Beerus’s planet. He knows to head this way. If
he destroys us, it’s all over for all of the universes,” Shin said, his hands trembling in front of him.
“This was a bad idea to bring me here. I’m not strong enough. I’ll only get in the way.”

“I’d hate to say it, “ Piccolo began, “But it’s true. We should have brought someone more powerful
along, like Yamcha.”

The group bursted into laughter, but Beerus responded with a fist to Piccolo’s face, “Now isn’t the
time for jokes, Namekian. And you-” he raised a finger and pointed at Shin’s nose, “You are the
Supreme Kai of Universe 7. You are a god, a deity, a king of worlds. I will not tolerate any more
talk of weakness. You will stay alive,” Beerus commanded.

“What an amazing speech,” a voice echoed from the skies.

The mortals in the group peered around in search of the source of the sound, while the deities and
Goku and Vegeta could sense the God ki immediately.
The air crackled with tension as Milasna, the villainous fusion, materialized before the group of
warriors. His presence alone sent shivers down their spines, and his sinister smile hinted at the
impending chaos.

"I have grown tired of the existence of these mortals, and the arrogance of the deities in this
multiverse," Milasna announced, his voice echoing ominously. "It's time to bring forth the ultimate
destruction, to cleanse the universes and rebuild them in my image. I have to thank you all though,
for gathering here. Having you all in one spot will make the destruction of the worlds so much
easier for me."

Vegeta and Gohan threw a knowing glance at each other, and swiftly inserted the Potaras into their
earlobes. After a bright flash, Vegihan stepped forward, his eyes blazing with determination. "You
won't get the chance to destroy any more universes. This will be your last fight!"

Goku looked over in shock, Vegeta and Gohan using fusion? Well this definitely complicates my
being attracted to Vegeta. Since when is Vegeta so eager to use fusion, anyway? He never wanted
to do that with me.

Beside him, Lord Beerus frowned, acknowledging the immense power emanating from Milasna.
"He's right. We won't let you destroy our universe. Consider yourself finished."

With a casual wave of his hand, Milasna didn’t hesitate to commence the battle. He summoned a
barrage of energy spheres, sending them hurtling toward the group. Reacting with lightning speed,
Vegihan and Beerus evaded the onslaught, but the attacks continued relentlessly.

The battlefield erupted into chaos as the group weaved through the powerful onslaught, dodging
and retaliating with their own strikes. Vegihan and Beerus combined their efforts just as they’d
practiced, flying towards Milasna in sync to unleash an assault of punches and divine energy blasts,
but Milasna deflected each attack with no effort, holding one hand behind his back to show off the
enormous power gap between himself and the other fighters.

Goku watched in fear as his son and his lover went at it against this powerful fusion. Just as he
jumped in to join the fight, a fierce gust of wind swept through the battleground. Milasna
unleashed a devastating energy wave with just the nod of his head, the shockwave knocking back
everyone in its path, leaving the group reeling, gripping onto the ground and trees just to stay
within the boundaries of the fight. Even Whis struggled to maintain his balance against the
powerful storm.

Gritting their teeth, Vegihan and Beerus exchanged a knowing glance, realizing that they needed to
combine their strength even further. Vegihan extended his hand towards Beerus, and with a nod of
approval, they began the fusion dance.

As the fused Saiyan and Beerus continued their fusion dance in the distance, the two fighters from
Universes 14 and 16 stepped forward to face Milasna, determined to buy the necessary time for the
fusion to complete. Master Senani, the fleet-footed martial artist, moved with unparalleled speed
and strength. She and Rye attacked in unison, Master Senani weaving around Milasna, striking
with blindingly fast punches, while Rye delivered powerful blows that shook the air around them.

Despite how powerful these warriors were, however, Milasna's power was beyond anything they
had ever encountered. He deftly evaded their strikes, seemingly without moving a muscle, and
countered with immense force. The ferocity of his attacks sent the two fighters flying backward,
but they refused to back down.

As the battle intensified, Kefla and Jiren jumped fists first into the fight, joining forces with Rye
and Senani.

"Let's take him down together!" Jiren shouted. Teamwork wasn’t something he often did, but it
was a great technique he’d picked up after his time fighting against Goku in the Tournament of
Power.

The four fighters attacked Milasna relentlessly, combining their unique abilities and powers. Yet,
despite their best efforts, Milasna proved to be an indomitable force, easily parrying their attacks,
and still holding his hand behind his back.

Observing from below, Piccolo stood his ground, guarding the Supreme Kai. He knew that their
only hope lay in buying enough time for the other angels and Destroyer Gods to arrive and join the
fight.

"Is this the best you can offer? How disappointing,” Milasna yawned dramatically.

Back in the sidelines, the fusion dance between Vegihan and Beerus was complete, and from it,
Govus emerged. He was the perfect combination of Lord Beerus, Vegeta, and Gohan.

"It's time to end this!" he announced from across the battlefield as he launched himself upward into
the sky to join the fray. His aura alone sent ripples through the battlefield, and he faced Milasna
with unwavering confidence. "We won't let you destroy our universes!"

Milasna's eyes widened with surprise at the transformation. Even he couldn't deny the immense
power now before him. This prompted him to put just an ounce more of his effort into the fight.

Removing his left hand from behind his back, Milasna pointed his hand outwards toward the
warriors surrounding him. Lifting two fingers, he sent a wave of energy that blew directly through
Rye, Senani, Jiren, and Kefla, hitting them in their vital organs and sending them directly into the
dirt.

Goku shot Whis a look. Whis nodded knowingly, and they began to charge together at Milasna,
their movements a blur of power and speed.

"Alright Whis, let's show him our technique!"

Whis nodded in agreement, and the two fighters positioned themselves strategically around
Milasna, the chaotic battle between him and Govus still ongoing.

"Now!" Goku called out.

With impeccable timing, Whis raised his staff forward while Goku put his hands together and to
his side, preparing to launch an enormous kamehameha attack.

"Divine Ka-me-ha-me-ha!" He shouted, and at that same moment, the two of them conjured their
ferocious energy, amplifying the attack's power to an unimaginable level as Goku’s kamehameha
wave mixed and intertwined with the celestial energy blast from Whis’s staff.

The colossal energy beam tore through the battlefield, evading Govus and colliding with Milasna's
defenses. The resulting explosion shook the very foundations of the universe, creating a blinding
cascade of light that stretched across the cosmos.

When the dust settled, they were stunned to see that Milasna was still standing, hardly phased by
the attack. Milasna snickered and slow-clapped, "Impressive light show. Very entertaining. I hope
you didn’t think you could hurt me with an attack as weak as that one though." His smile, however,
vanished as he detected a new and intense influx of celestial energy coming straight for him.
Chapter 16

CHAPTER 16

“Ah, it would seem that my siblings have come along to fight against me,” Milasna said, crossing
his arms in an attempt to hide the fear corrupting his sly expression. He gazed at the oncoming
angels, “Marcarita, Vados, Vermillo, and Chardonnay, it has been way too long.”

Milasna then peered at the Gods of Destruction now crowding around him, “And of course, you’ve
all brought along your pets.”

"It appears we've arrived in the nick of time," Azurion, the Destroyer God of Universe 14, said. He
exuded an aura of regal elegance and power. His towering figure, a whopping ten feet tall, dawned
over the group now.

"Indeed, my lord,” his angel, Chardonnay, responded.

The fierce Destroyer God, Sagnus, from Universe 16 floated beside his angel, Vermillo. He gazed
over at the others and took note of the fused Beerus and Saiyans, "It seems we have quite the
challenge ahead of us."

Lord Belmond shrugged as he eyed Govus, “A Destroyer fusing with two mortals? Utterly absurd.
To think that Beerus would stoop so low to win a battle,” he shook his head in disgust at the very
thought.

Lord Champa joined in, "Come on! It'll be fun to knock that fused pest around!"

Vados nodded, “Let us show them the might of our universes combined."

"Alright, everyone! Let's give it everything we've got!" Goku shouted.

Jiren rose to his feet, dusting himself off at the sight of his God of Destruction. Lord Belmond
peered down at Jiren, then back up to the enemy.

"Prepare yourself! We’ll show you the power of Universe 11!" Belmond declared as he and Jiren
led the charge to the center of the battlefield.

Master Senani launched herself off of the ground as well to unleash her ultimate jab attack that
blurred beyond the speed which Milasna could see. Even the afterimages of her hands were nearly
invisible. As impressive of a feat as this was, still every jab was blocked with a single finger from
Milasna, who grew more confident with every passing second.

Goku and Kefla also jumped in, soaring side-by-side aiming for the enemy. Goku grinned, his eyes
sparkling with excitement, "Kefla, let's show 'em what Saiyans can do when they work together!"

Kefla smirked, her energy surging, "You got it, Goku!"

With blinding speed, they launched a synchronized assault, unloading a series of energy blasts as
Goku’s blue aura and Kefla’s yellow aura collided. A smile crept onto both of their faces as they
fought alongside each other, relishing in their love for battle.

Meanwhile, from a distance, Govus watched with a mixture of awe and jealousy at Goku and
Kefla's teamwork. That… that should be me working together with Kakarot, Vegeta’s thoughts
took over.

Beerus’s internal voice shouted at Vegeta, Can you keep your hopeless romantic thoughts to
yourself?! I won’t be making googly eyes at that Saiyan!

Yeah… this is too weird, Gohan’s internal voice stammered.

Kefla shouted, "He's tough, but we can't give up! Keep pushing!"

Master Senani responded, "Right! We've got this!"

As the mortals continued their relentless assault, the Destroyer Gods Azurion, Sagnus, Belmond,
Champa, and Govus locked eyes, knowing their next move. They began to form an overpowering
circle around Milasna. They focused their energy, channeling their divine power into a single point.

Govus announced, "It's time! Let us use the power of Destruction together!"

Rye suddenly awoke from across the battlefield. Though he was gravely injured from the attack
earlier, he quickly examined the ongoing anarchy surrounding him.

“Piccolo!” he shouted, “What’s going on?”

“The Destroyer Gods and angels from some of the other universes have joined us. It appears the
destroyers are about to unleash their power,” Piccolo answered.

“Everyone get out of the way!” Shin cried out, directing his attention to the mortals fighting in the
center. As they moved, Rye launched himself off of the dirt and into the air to join the Gods. He
let out a battle cry as he mustered up all of the energy he had left.

The Destroyers and Rye quickly raised one arm forward in unison, preparing to unleash their
destructive powers. Their hands began to glow with a brilliant, ominous energy - the power of
Hakai. The energy swirled and intensified, forming a menacing black sphere of destruction at the
center of their circle.

"Now!” Govus commanded. The Gods unleashed their great power, and the mortals joined in as
well.

"Ka-me-ha-me-ha!"

"Ultimate jab!"

“Full power!”

"Hakai!"

In response, and only with a fraction of a second to spare, Milasna decided it was finally time to
power up.

Milasna gritted his teeth, raised his arms, and let out a deafening roar as he powered up. His eyes
blazed with newfound determination. A red aura surrounded his body as both angel and destroyer
powers surged through him. He then charged forward, clashing head-on with the united force of
deities and warriors.

In a desperate bid to reclaim control, Milasna gathered the remnants of his strength, summoning
his ultimate attack. A colossal energy sphere materialized above him - a dark spirit bomb. It
crackled with chaotic energy, and he thrust it forward with all his might.
The sky erupted with darkness as the attack hurtled towards the gathered warriors. While the Gods
and angels poured their energy into a barrier to counter the massive dark spirit bomb, Milasna used
this opportunity to his advantage - he created a copy of himself to attack from behind.

“Watch out!” Shin called out, “There’s another Milasna behind you!”

Master Senani stepped in with a series of super sonic speed blows. This distracted Milasna long
enough for Goku to jump in with a punch aiming straight for his face. However, even in his
Mastered Ultra Instinct form, Goku was still not quick enough to connect. In response, Milasna
bounced himself backward, combining his two halves again and unleashing a wave of energy that
reverberated across the battlefield, causing his massive dark spirit bomb to burst.

The warriors were sent hurtling through the air, their bodies bruised and battered upon impact, and
causing Govus to defuse. The three warriors dusted themselves off and sat up.

“Here, Lord Beerus,” Gohan looked down, removing his Potara from his ear and handing it to the
Destroyer. “I think you and Vegeta should use these for fusion. I’m afraid I’m only holding you
both back.”

Beerus shook his head, “No way,” he crossed his arms “Using those earrings with a deity would
cause a permanent fusion. No chance in hell I’d do something like that.”

Vegeta grunted, plucking the earring from Gohan’s hand and placing it on his own ear. “Let’s fight
him separately for a while. I’ve had enough fusion for a lifetime.”

Across the battlefield, Kefla had also defused, becoming Kale and Caulifla once again. The two
Saiyans of Universe 6 lay on the ground, unable to move. Jiren was not too far from them, also
paralyzed in pain.

As Goku and the other deities slowly gained their footing, Milasna began to grow impatient with
this battle, realizing that perhaps this would take more time than he’d expected.

I need to find a way to regain the upper hand, he thought. I just need to eliminate them one by one.
Ah. Here's my opening. His face bore an ominous grin as he’d detected another opportunity to
strike, only this time his eyes flashed to the sidelines.

“No!” Vegeta shouted.

As Milasna's sinister intentions became clear, Vegeta's instincts kicked in, and he sensed the
imminent danger facing Piccolo and Shin. Without hesitation, Vegeta put two fingers to his
forehead, instantly teleporting himself in the skies between Milasna and Piccolo, with Shin floating
behind them.

Milasna grinned as he launched his own body straight forward. His arm penetrated directly
through Vegeta’s chest while blasting a ball of energy into Piccolo and Shin in a single move.

Vegeta clenched his fists trying to hold on to his own life, but even he could not withstand the
lethal blow. He and his two allies began to fall to the ground.

“VEGETAAA!” Goku cried.

Can't thank you all enough for the kind comments, kudos, and views so far :3

CHAPTER 17

Goku desperately raced across the sky to stop his mate from plummeting into the ground. He could
feel Vegeta’s energy begin to fade, and watched in horror as his blazing blue hair turned to black,
and blood began to gush from his chest. Just before Vegeta could crash into the dirt, Goku caught
him in his arms.

“Vegeta!” he called out perilously, kneeling down to the ground.

“K-Kakarot… you idiot… you need to keep fighting,” Vegeta stuttered between heavy breaths.

“You’re okay, ‘Geta. You’re gonna be fine. I’ll give you some of my energy, and you’ll be fine.” A
lump formed in Goku’s throat as he built up energy into his palm.

Vegeta scoffed, then winced in pain, “Your energy can’t save me, you idiot. Just go kill that
bastard.”

Goku looked at the wound on Vegeta’s chest, realizing that what he was saying was true. Milasna
had cut straight through him, completely slicing through the left side of his ribs and lung. He
pressed his forehead against Vegeta’s face, holding back tears as he faced the harsh reality that his
mate was dying.

At the same time, Shin and Piccolo also dropped to the ground, with Gohan rushing to catch both
of them. Though the end result would not have changed; they were both beyond saving as well.

Lord Beerus looked at the scene, wide eyed, before clutching onto his own chest, feeling an
agonizing sting shoot across his body as he experienced the repercussions of his Supreme Kai’s
death. He groaned in pain, and then too fell to the ground.

The other Gods, now only yards away from the fallen warriors, gasped in fear as the gravity of the
situation became clear. Lord Champa held onto Beerus, tears building up in his eyes as he squeezed
onto his brother.

Goku trembled as he felt the last bit of life leave Vegeta’s body. His low voice began to quiver,
“You monster… you killed him… you… killed… my Vegeta…”

He gently placed his mate’s body onto the ground, closing his eyes to summon his strength. The
entire universe seemed to shake now as a terrible source of rage began boiling in Goku’s gut. His
hair flickered back and forth between black and blonde, then emerged as a bright blue. His eyes
now open, began to light up like the stars. In a frenzy, he glared up at his enemy.

“Milasna,” he started, and then his voice became a scream that echoed across the planet , “I’ll kill
you! ”

The ground shattered beneath him as he then launched himself at Milasna with such impossible
vigor and velocity that the Angelic Destroyer himself could not follow him with his eyes.

Milasna dodged left and right, only narrowly avoiding Goku’s punches. Goku shot a wave of
energy from his feet, and while his enemy leapt higher into the air to avoid it, he put his hands
together and aimed for his enemy’s skull. To everyone’s surprise, including Milasna, Goku was
able to connect.

Milasna jumped backward, grabbing onto his aching head and shaken by the sheer force behind
Goku's onslaught. I will not be beaten by a mere mortal. It’s time to power up again.

Every muscle in his fused body began to flex, producing a massive surge of energy that surrounded
both of them. Milasna's strength was now overwhelming. He swiftly retaliated against the Saiyan
warrior, countering Goku's every attack with calculated precision, leaving Goku struggling to keep
up.

"An impressive effort, but futile,” Marcarita sighed.

“Yes, though he was able to connect, it seems with Milasna’s power up, the Saiyan just doesn’t
have the energy to fight him off. I’m not sure that any of us do," Vados admitted.

Meanwhile, Jiren, immobilized by his injuries, was fighting to get up. I have plenty of energy left,
he thought, why can’t I move? It was then that he realized the severity of his injuries - his spine
was completely cut in half, leaving him paralyzed on the ground. He summoned every ounce of
strength he had left. With sheer will, he managed to raise his trembling arm one inch into the air,
and began channeling his energy.

"Goku!” Jiren called out, “My body has failed me, but I will still aid you in this battle. Take my
energy!”

He aimed his palm up at the Saiyan in the sky as he poured every last drop of his energy into
Goku, sending a torrent of power surging through the Saiyan's body. His eyes glazed over as the
last ounce of his power funneled into Goku. He gave up his life with a smile on his face.

Goku felt this sudden surge of power flowing through him, and used this to renew his assault on
Milasna. He landed two, then three more solid blows.

Master Senani and Rye watched in awe as their spent bodies rested on the ground. They exchanged
a perceptive glance, and in unison, the two mortals raised their arms to Goku as well. Following in
Jiren’s footprints, they sent the remainder of their energy directly into the Saiyan’s body.

Finally, it seemed Goku had the upper hand as he began to maim the Angelic Destroyer with an
energy blast to his chest.

However, just like in the Tournament of Power, Goku’s body began to have trouble withstanding
this new and sudden influx of energy. He could feel himself faltering, and the perceptive Milasna
picked up on this immediately. He took advantage of Goku’s brief moment of weakness to punch
him straight in the jaw, sending the Saiyan flying backwards.

Lord Belmond shouted, "It's not over, yet! Let’s go!" as the other Gods and angels joined in to
launch their attacks once more on the monstrous fusion.

With a thunderous crash, Goku's body landed, bruised and injured, several feet from where
Vegeta’s corpse now rested. Whis and Gohan quickly made their way over to him to ensure he was
alright, concerned by the harsh landing that he had just suffered from.

The three did not exchange words. Instead, Goku sat up, now in his base form once more, and put
Vegeta’s head into his lap as he began to work out his next move in his head. Gohan observed his
father closely, then turned to the angel.

“Whis?” Gohan whispered.

“Yes, Gohan?”

The enormous booms within the galaxy seemed silent now. “Whis, would you be willing to use the
Potaras with one of the other angels or Destroyers?”

Shaking his head, Whis responded, “Using the Potaras with a God of Destruction or an angel
would result in a permanent fusion. There is not a single deity here that would be willing to fuse
with me, not even to save the multiverse. You saw their reaction to Lord Beerus fusing with you
and Vegeta, and that was only with the fusion dance.”

Goku listened in to their conversation, still holding Vegeta’s head in his arms, but was suddenly so
calm, “Then fuse with me.”

Whis’s brows raised in surprise. He turned to face Goku, attempting to comprehend what he’d just
heard.

“Fuse with me,” Goku repeated as he gently glided the earrings off of Vegeta’s ears. He slowly
rose to his feet and slipped one earring onto his own ear.

Whis pondered this suggestion for a moment, as he peered over at Beerus’s corpse which was now
resting on a pile of ash only several feet away. He took one more look at his dead friend.

“Goku,” he sighed, placing one arm behind his back, “I’m afraid even if we did fuse, we would
still not be as powerful as Milasna. Not even close. He is both angel and Destroyer God, and
despite how powerful you may be, together we would be only angel and mortal. Even with fusion,
we would lose this battle. To even have a chance, we would need several deities to fuse.”

Goku nodded, “Yeah, Whis, I know. But you said yourself that no one here would be willing to do
that.” He turned his body to face the angel, his brows furrowing in determination, “I really think
this is our best shot. We can’t sit back and let them destroy the rest of our worlds. We have to do
this,” Goku insisted as he closed his eyes.

He swiftly and silently powered up to his Mastered Ultra Instinct form, and then extended his arm
out to Whis, offering him the second Potara that rested in his palm.

Hesitant, Whis voiced his concerns, “You understand that, even if we did somehow manage to
succeed in this battle, it is highly unlikely that the Grand Priest would allow for such a fusion to
exist afterwards?”

Goku nodded in response.

After a pause, Whis closed his eyes, letting out a sigh. He answered softly, “Very well, Goku,” as
he removed the earring from the Saiyan’s outreached hand, and slipped it onto his ear.
Chapter 18

CHAPTER 18

A bright flash of light brought the ongoing onslaught in the sky to a halt. Everyone’s eyes turned to
the new being that stood before them, commanding an overwhelming aura of power. The fusion
between Goku and Whis had given birth to Gois, a unique and unprecedented combination of
mortal and angelic might.

Milasna, however, was unphased. A smirk covered his face, "Fusing with a mortal? How sad,” he
spat, “Do you honestly think you can defeat me in this pathetic form?"

As Milasna taunted with his sly words, Gois remained silent. The new fusion’s eyes bounced back
and forth between the glowing blue radiance of his palms, and the orange angel attire he now wore.
His spiky hair surged upward, a brilliantly shimmering white, symbolizing the perfect fusion of
mortal and angelic might.

Gois's gaze shifted toward Vegeta and Lord Beerus lying on the ground, and he decided he would
waste no time. Letting out a hair-raising roar, he underwent an incredible transformation. His eyes,
once brimming with determination, now glowed with a fusion of divine wisdom and Saiyan
passion. The planet itself seemed to pulse with his energy, creating an awe-inspiring spectacle that
left all onlookers stunned.

"Such incredible power!" Azurion exclaimed.

"This could change everything!” Sagnus yelled.

“Hmmm,” Chardonnay hummed in doubt, "This fusion with our brother Whis has granted him
divine potential, but I wonder if it will be enough.”

Gois's eyes glinted with fiery passion, and without a single eye able to detect him, he vanished.
Milasna closed his eyes to concentrate on the energy around him in order to quickly block the
punch that Gois dished out from behind him. The two titans commenced in battle. Sending punches
left and right, kicks up and down, both entities dodged effortlessly.

Milasna fake yawned, "If this is all the power you can muster, then it is time for me to end this!"

He met Gois's energy blast head-on, creating a shockwave that sent ripples through the battlefield
and turning the energy attack into dust. It was evident at this moment that Gois would not win.

Vados watched her brothers in battle intently, a hand on her chin, “Hmmm… I have an idea.”

“What is it, Vados?” Champa turned to her. “You’re not thinking about joining the fight are you?
We can hardly even see them at this point!”

“No,'' Vados responded with a grin. “And actually, the idea wasn’t mine. It was Jiren’s,” she said.
With a graceful motion of her hand, she channeled a significant portion of her cosmic energy and
sent it surging towards Gois, “Take my power, brother!”

The other angels and Gods watched in astonishment as Vados relinquished her energy to the great
fusion. Marcarita and Belmond were in a state of disbelief, hands on their heads and eyes wide
open.
Champa peered down at his dead brother, then back up to the fusions in battle, “Destroy him,
Gois! Destroy him for what he did to my brother!” He yelled as he too raised his arms forward,
channeling his energy at the celestial-mortal fusion.

Azurion, Vermillo, Sagnus, and Chardonnay exchanged glances, recognizing the significance of
this moment. United in their goal to protect their universes, they too infused Gois with their divine
might, lending their power to the fusion's strength. “Take our energy and fight!”

Gois's power surged to unprecedented heights, and a dazzling kaleidoscope of colors surrounded
him. The fabric of space trembled and ripped in the surrounding galaxies from the sheer force of
his newfound energy. Milasna, recognizing the growing threat, gritted his teeth and powered up in
response, letting out a roar. The universe began to shred apart as the two cosmic beings went toe to
toe, their collisions creating shockwaves which reverberated across the multiverse.

Vados, Champa, Vermillo, Azurion, Chardonnay, and Sagnus watched with bated breath,
struggling to even stand after their great release of power.

“Even with all of our energies combined, Gois is only fighting to a draw,” Vermillo panted.

Belmond looked down onto the other deities and puffed, “I can’t believe you all thought that
would work. And lending your powers to a mortal? Absolutely unthinkable.”

Marcarita floated beside her God of Destruction, “Agreed, “ she crossed her arms.

In the remote cosmos, many universes away, the Grand Priest continued to observe the fight
through Marcarita’s staff. He could hear the Omni Kings playing in the background. His eyes
followed their battle curiously, tapping his chin with his finger. He let out a sigh, and rose to his
feet. With a decisive gesture, he held his staff in both hands and raised it into the air. He then
slammed it into the ground, channeling a minuscule fraction of his own divine energy in the
direction of Universe 7.

The moment that the Grand Priest's energy merged into Gois, the planets and galaxies surrounding
Beerus’s planet erupted. Universe 7 ripped and tore. With an unparalleled surge of power, Gois's
aura expanded, shattering the very boundaries of mortal comprehension, and the brilliance of his
radiance rivaled that of a thousand suns.

Gois let out a bloodcurdling roar, "I can feel it! This power!"

He charged at Milasna once more, his movements now swift and effortless. Each blow he landed
felt like an unstoppable force, and the great fusion was powerless to stop him.

"No! This can't be happening!" Milasna cried in horror.

As Gois continued his relentless assault of punches and energy blasts, connecting every single
time, Milasna's fusion began to waver under the strain. The malevolent bond that united the God of
Destruction and the angel began to crack, unable to withstand the incomprehensible might now
possessed by Gois.

"It's over, Milasna!" Gois’s voice boomed across the galaxy.

With a final attack, Gois brought down Milasna with an unimaginable force, punching him directly
in his core. The impact of the blow shook the very foundations of the multiverse, and the villain
cried out in agony as his fusion came undone.

In a blinding flash of light, Milasna's form split into two separate entities - Vinasa and Malaki. The
God of Destruction and the angel fell to the ground.

The Grand Priest watched with an impassive expression, his role as an observer complete. With
another bang of his staff, Malaki disappeared from Universe 7 and reappeared directly in between
the Omni Kings.

Future Zeno stood up, eyebrows furrowed, glaring at the angel in front of him. “You’ve interrupted
our playtime!” He shouted angrily, pointing his finger at the angel’s nose.

“I-I sincerely apologize, Lord Omni King,” Malaki dropped to his knees, bowing profusely.

“Yes. He interrupted our playing. That is very bad,” Zeno said, looking at Future Zeno with
crossed arms.

The Grand Priest heard a scream from outside of the Zenos’ quarters, and took but a moment to
grieve for the loss of his misguided son.

Without hesitation, Marcarita and Belmond launched themselves forward to join Gois, “Let’s take
care of this pathetic Destroyer so we can go home!” Marcarita shouted.
Chapter 19
Chapter Notes

Final chapter here. I really enjoyed writing this story and hope y'all liked reading it. :D

CHAPTER 19

After the climactic battle with the ultimate fusion, it was clear that Universe 7 was crumbling.
Before the deities had a chance to exchange words, a powerful wave of energy swirled around
them, causing them to instantly teleport to the angel realm.

The Grand Priest stood before them, “That was quite the battle. I’m proud of my children for
collaborating to take down a force as powerful as that fusion. However,“ his eyes focused on Gois
now, “There is one issue. I’m sure you are already aware.”

Gois nodded knowingly, lowering his head.

“Wow, look at all these visitors!” Grand Zeno cheered, flying outside toward the group of warriors.

“Who is that?” Future Zeno asked, pointing his tiny fingers at Gois. “He’s so sparkly! Is he a new
angel?”

“He is sparkly indeed, my lords," The Grand Priest smiled, placing an arm behind his back, "but he
is not a new angel. He is the fusion of Whis and your Saiyan friend, Goku.”

“Wowww! So cool! I didn’t know that an angel and a Saiyan could use fusion!” Zeno smiled,
putting his hand on his chin.

Future Zeno nodded, turning to his past self, “Me neither! You know who would love to see this?”

“Who?”

“Zalama!”

“Oh yes! He would love to see this, you are right!”

Gohan, still injured from the fight, but standing amongst the deities turned his head to Champa and
whispered in his ear, “Uh… sir… who is Zalama?”

Champa leaned toward the Saiyan, "Zalama is the Dragon God, the creator of the Super Dragon
Balls."

Gois jumped forward, attempting to grab the Grand Priest by the arm, though the angel effortlessly
evaded this move. “Hey, Mr. Grand Priest, sir!” Gois pleaded for attention, Goku’s personality
clearly taking over. Gois then proceeded to slap himself across the face, a move done by Whis to
chastise Goku’s innocently idiotic behavior.

As The Grand Priest curiously watched the fusion of two polar opposites in a single body, he
struggled to stifle a chuckle forming in his throat.
Shaking his head, Gois tried again, “Please sir, could you give us an opportunity to help save the
destroyed universes? If we could find Zalama, maybe we could restore the Super Dragon Balls and
wish the universes back to normal.”

“I’d hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we don’t even know where Zalama is,“ Marcarita
interjected.

“Oh, I know, I know, I know!” Future Zeno raised his hand, cheering with delight. “In my timeline,
he visited my home around this date!”

Zeno looked at his future self, “Ooooh, maybe the Zalama of our timeline will also visit my home
then. I cannot wait to see him!” He danced in place.

Vados blinked, “If this is true... we should be able to find him by watching the nearby galaxies and
universes.”

“Yes,” the Grand Priest said, turning toward the group of deities, “Vados and Whis... or um... Gois
can take care of this matter. The rest of you may take your leave.”

With that said, now only Vados, Gois, and Gohan remained. Vados and Gois immediately began
scouring the universes intently through their staffs. The Grand Priest stood to the side in
observation, contemplating his next move.

Meanwhile, Goku’s mind was overflowing. All I want is to restore the universes and save Vegeta. I
hope that the Grand Priest at least lets me see him one last time before he destroys us.

He started thinking about their final day together before they separated for training. He couldn’t
believe that he and Vegeta had actually made love, and how much he’d enjoyed it. Images of
Vegeta’s naked body flashed in his mind. He could picture the flexing muscles in his arms and
chest, the faces he’d made while he went down on him, the sounds that erupted from his throat as
he thrusted himself inside.

He then thought about the moment when he’d returned to Beerus’s planet, and Vegeta told him that
he loved him. His heart felt so warm and fulfilled. I just want to see him, to wrap my arms around
him one more time. I need to kiss him and tell him how much I love him.

Goku, Whis’s mind interrupted, I understand your immense feelings for your mate, but as long as
you and I share a body, there will be, under no circumstances, kissing of anyone.

Gois began blushing as Goku remembered that Whis shared his every thought and desire. He
laughed at the idea of making Whis think about Vegeta in this way. He could feel his member
growing hard as his memories of Vegeta still remained on his mind.

Goku, can you please get your mind off of Vegeta? It is rather... distracting, Whis pleaded.

Right. Sorry, Whis. Gois chuckled.

Vados’s shoulders perked up, “I found him!” she announced. The others looked over to her now as
she peered into her staff, “He’s coming toward us from Universe 1.”

Gois took a moment to close his eyes and sense for energy. In the distance, he could feel a massive
form of ki in the nexus of the universes. That must be him, he thought as he placed two fingers onto
his forehead.

“Take my hand," he said, looking onto Vados.

“I’m sorry, Gois," The Grand Priest appeared beside him, grasping Gois’s raised hand and
removing it from his face. “I am afraid I cannot let you go on further. I will send Vados to Zalama
now that we are aware of his location. She can request that he recreate the Super Dragon Balls, and
make the wish to restore the universes.”

Vados’s face dropped. She slowly released her grip on the fusion beside her, and stepped to the
side. Within seconds, she was sent away.

The moments ticked by as the two powerful beings prepared for Gois's erasure. The Grand Priest's
mind was jumbled with thoughts, conflicted on the best course of action. As he prepared to destroy
the fusion, a sudden surge of energy rippled through the cosmos. Gois's eyes widened. The
realization dawned upon them: Vados had succeeded in her mission to find Zalama, and restore the
Super Dragon Balls to their full power.

"It seems the universes have been restored," The Grand Priest commented looking to the side
thoughtfully. He then turned his attention back to his fused son, "I suppose this means you have no
more work remaining."

Just as he prepared to unleash his judgment upon Gois, the unthinkable happened. Their fusion
began to waver, and Goku and Whis were forcibly separated. The sudden transformation left them
all in awe, for it was a feat previously believed impossible.

Goku and Whis sat on the ground side by side, blinking in disbelief as their fusion was now
undone. They exchanged puzzled glances, feeling a strange sense of liberation.

"Wh-what... happened?" The Grand Priest, normally calm and collected, stammered with wide
eyes.

It was then that Vados returned with the Dragon God, a triumphant smile exploding across her
face.

She peered at her defused brother in relief, "Zalama granted a favor to you two for saving the
universes. As a gesture of goodwill, he separated your fusion, allowing you to exist as separate
entities once more."

The Grand Priest, though still disapproving of their fusion, found himself in a conundrum. The
universes were saved, and Gois no longer existed as an angel/mortal fusion. His expression
softened in relief.

--

Goku and Vegeta found themselves back on Earth, reunited after what felt like an eternity (though
was really only a few hours). The warriors gathered at Capsule Corp to celebrate their victory, and
the joyous atmosphere was palpable.

The two Saiyans stood a few feet apart. Vegeta refused to allow Goku to place his hands on him in
front of their friends, despite Goku's many protests. He couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy
deep within him. After all, it was Goku who had upstaged him by fusing with Whis and achieving
a level of power that had surpassed even the Prince of Saiyans.

As the festivities continued, Vegeta's façade of indifference began to crack. He watched Goku as
he regaled their friends with stories of his adventures as Gois, the fusion of angel and mortal.
Goku's animated storytelling and the awe in their friends' eyes made Vegeta's jealousy more
apparent.
Finally, unable to contain himself any longer, Vegeta approached Goku with a scowl that masked
his true feelings. "Kakarot," he grumbled, "You certainly know how to steal the spotlight, don't
you?"

Goku turned to face Vegeta, a grin on his face. "Oh, come on, 'Geta! You know I didn't mean to
upstage you. It just happened."

Vegeta's pride wouldn't allow him to admit his feelings openly. He crossed his arms, looking away.
"Hmph, well, it's good that we're both back to normal now. I don't need any angelic powers to
defeat you."

Goku chuckled, sensing the underlying emotions. "I think you're just jealous that Whis was in my
body."

Vegeta scoffed, "Agh-Kakarot! No way!"

Letting out a sigh, Goku continued to grin at his mate as he stepped closer. He peered down at the
shorter Saiyan before placing a hand on his cheek, caressing his face, "I'm really glad that you're
okay."

Vegeta's brows furrowed. He wanted to push Goku's hand away and punch him in the gut, but as he
looked up into his eyes, he couldn't feel anything but love.

"Let's get out of here," Goku suggested, a slight grin crossing his lips. "I have something waiting
for us outside."

Vegeta nodded, though a puzzled expression crossed his face. He followed Goku out the door, and
as he stepped outside his gaze was met with a little yellow cloud floating before him.

"You're serious, Kakarot? This thing again?"

Goku gave his signature grin, holding his mate's hand, "You know you liked it the last time. And I
thought it would be a good place to... I don't know... kiss and stuff."

Vegeta's cheeks flushed red. He closed his eyes letting out a sigh, but he couldn't hold back the
