Notes:
What's included in this pack?
There are 28 puzzles in this pack, of various sizes and number of pieces:
Eight 2-piece puzzles
Eight 4-piece puzzles
Three 8-piece puzzles
Four 12-piece puzzles
Three 20-piece puzzles
Two 24-piece puzzles

What ages are these puzzles suitable for?

These puzzles are suitable for kids ages 2/3 and up. They vary in difficulty from simple 2-piece
puzzles to 24-piece puzzles.
The right level for your child is a puzzle that is challenging but can be completed
independently.
It is not necessary to print all of them - just the ones that are suitable for your child's level.
Please note: These puzzles are more challenging to do than regular wooden puzzles with
pieces that fit into each other. Children are relying on their ability to match colour and images
only, without having the physical pieces as a guide. Toddlers often use the physical shapes and
the puzzle boards as guidance, so start with puzzles at an easier level than your child is used
to, and work your way up slowly.

Preparing the puzzles:

Print the puzzles onto cardstock/poster board so they will be durable.
Optional: laminate the pages to make them extra sturdy.
Cut out the individual pieces.
Shuffle and build them!

Using the puzzles as a cutting activity:

These printable puzzles can be turned into an opportunity to practise cutting skills in two ways:
1. Print the puzzles onto cardstock/poster board and let your child cut them before building
them.
2. Print them onto paper and let your child cut them out, build them on a sheet of paper and
paste them for a fun cut-and-stick activity.

Areas of development:
Visual perception and spatial relations
Fine motor skills
Eye-hand coordination
Early maths (pattern and shape)
Attention span and perseverance
Problem solving
Cognitive development
