Job Title Pathologist


Report to Lab Manager

Job purpose
• Pathologist are the special physicians that undertake the research and testing of
medical specimens for diagnosis and the treatment of the diseases. Also
Pathologist don't work directly with the patients, but what they do is to assist
medical professionals in diagnosing their patients' illness and to develop their
treating plans

Main Duties and Responsibilities


• Performing lots of specimen analysis by using laboratory tools and equipment, but
in order to study samples and to perform those test to precisely analyze body fluids
and tissue specimens
• Writing pathology reports, detailing specimens that is tested, results of the tests,
and final diagnosis
• Undertaking research to improve lots of identifications and lots of testing methods
and making sure to find innovative ways to treat diseases
• Always staying up to date with the development in the fields of pathology and
medical practice
• Pathologist always looking for the abnormalities in the samples that the evidence
disease and conveying this information to the relevant medical professionals
• Participates in patient care conferences when appropriate, staff meetings and other
meetings as just requested or required by the supervisor

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in biology, physical scienses, or a related field
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor os Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• 4 to 7 years of intership and residency training, specializing in pathology
• Valid and active medical license in the state you wish to practice
• Exceptional analytical and research skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Working Conditions
• Spending most of their time in the lab.
• Performing autopies or examining tissue samples under the microscope
• Involve standing for extended periods and working with small tools
• Working hours with 40hours, generally like 9am to 6pm or usually work full time
• Also depends to the day like 24hours to be inact to emergencies

Job Title: Clinical Pathologist


Reports to: Lab Manager

Job Purpose
• Clinical Pathologist they covers many lab functions. It is also concerned with
disease diagnosis, with treatment, and, prevention. Clinical Pathologist are the
healthcare professionals with professional and special training. They often direct all
the special divisions of the lab.

Main Duties and Responsibilities


• Examine and analyze bodly fluids, cells, tissues and to detect the abnormalities and
disease.
• Develop and implement new methods of testing and analysis.
• Conduct with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide information
and opinions on the results ,diagnosis, and treatment
• Select and operate laboratory equipment, such as microscopes, centrifuges, and
automated analyzers.
• Supervise the work of technicians, residents, and students.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications
• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification of clinical pathology
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of employment.
• 5plus years of experience in clinical pathology laboratory.
• Expertise in hematology, immunology, chemistry, microbiology, molecular
diagnostics.

Job Title: Chief MT


Report to: Head Manager

Job Purpose:
• Chief MT, they supervise, train them, direct lab assistants, medical and clinical
laboratory technicians, other medical laboratory workers engaged in laboratory
testing. Be sure to establish or monitor the quality assurance programs or activities
to ensure the accuracy of laboratory results.

Main Duties and Responsiblities


• Oversees and administers a variety of chemical, or microscopic tests.
• Devises work schedules and allocates duties to laboratory staff.
• Being Chief MT verifies the accuracy and validity of the test results.
• Chief MT manages to subordinates staffs day to day performs in higher jobs
performance of their jobs.
• That project.department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved
budgets.
• Conduct standardized laboratory to test to identify the origins or causes of disease.
• Lab procedures for specimen handling and test analysis.

Qualifications
• Chief MT typically requires 5 years experience as an individual contributor.
• 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
• Extensive knowledge of the function and department process.
• Medical laboratory technologists and technicians typically do the following.
• Holding a bachelor's degree in medical technology, related life science field, or
another scientific field.

specimen examinations, develops and update technical policies and procedures,
and monitors ongoing quality and management activity.

Job Purpose
• It is control for supervising physical examination and also analyzing a patien's
medical history. Making blood samples, and analyzing and identifying if it is white or
the red blood cell also they are checking for abnormalities to the patients' historical
data and using the data to make informed decisions among to the other duties.

Main Duties and Responsibilities


• Making the standards at the top quality and maintaining the laboratory equipment
performance accurate, quality and no errors.
• Achieving the quality results of the patients data by participating in the hospital
quality assurance program.
• Maintaining the medical laboratory company have more employees, recruiting,

• Performing viral marker to test and ensure the patient safety also for managing the
patients blood.

Job Purpose
• Responsisble for supporting medical professions in the research, and testing
laboratory maintainance, their duties include their record data, equipment and
ordering and organizing supplies of what they need.

Main Duties and Responsibilities


• Maintain updated inventories and order stocks and resources needed by the
laboratories including those needed by the researcher.
• Assisting lab maintenance and facilitating laboratory services
• Verify all test results and ensure that they are correctly matched with the specimen
• Label and organize all tests appropriately to make sure that they are easily
retrievable
• Examining collected samples and identify any cell abnormalities

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Research and analysis skills.
