REACTION PAPER: DANTE’S PEAK

The Dante's Peak movie is about the tragedies that can occur to you
if you live in a disaster-prone area.
It was said in the movie that the Dante’s peak is the most desirable
place to live as it is safe, beautiful, and clean but little did they know
that the volcano would erupt anytime soon and destroy everything they
had put into that town. As I watched this movie, I discovered that once
lava goes in the water, the resultant increase in surface area which
encourage water to heat up quickly (acidic), it can also kill you just like
what happened to Ruth. What happens in the water of Dante’s peak
serves as their signal that it’s not safe anymore to stay there for more
that an hour or a day so they hurried to pack their things up and
observe carefully what will happen next. The movie is very entertaining
since they have provided some materials that made things more
realistic especially when the bridge fall down. It attracts many viewers
for the reason that it can also compare to real life situation.
Watching this movie makes me realized that volcanic eruption is
worst especially when you live near its position. This will also help us to
figured out that not all the desirable place to live, beautiful place, and
clean area are totally safe and away from danger. Its better to know and
examine the place first before you choose a home for you and for your
family.
