on Friday 8th September 2023

The AMC CAT MCQ examination event is 3.5 hours in duration and consists of 150 multiple-choice questions. Each question has
only one correct response from five presented options.

ID Documentation Required

You must provide two forms of identity documents to enter the venue for the AMC CAT MCQ examination.

1. The primary identity document to contain your photograph and signature.

2. The secondary identity document to contain your signature.

Both forms of ID MUST contain your signature and one MUST contain your photograph.

Acceptable forms of Identification include:

Standard Primary IDs (photo and signature)

• Driver's licence
• Passport
• State/country identification card
• Alien registration card (green card, permanent resident visa)

Standard Secondary IDs (signature)

• Credit/ATM card
• Any primary ID
• US social security card
 Rescheduling/Cancellation

Prior to Examination Closing Date

Reschedule of an examination event MUST be completed prior to the examination closing date of the examination in which you are
scheduled. Please contact Pearson VUE prior to the examination closing date in order to reschedule your examination placement.

Cancellation of Authorisation
If you wish to cancel your Authorisation prior to the MCQ examination closing date, please contact the MCQ section at
mcq@amc.org.au to obtain a Cancellation of Authorisation Form. Please note this form is ONLY available to candidates who
wish to cancel their Authorisation PRIOR to the examination closing date for which they are scheduled. An administration fee applies
to Authorisation cancellation and candidates will be required to re-apply for a new authorisation and pay another examination fee.

After Examination Closing Date

You CANNOT reschedule or withdraw AFTER the MCQ examination closing date of the examination in which you are scheduled. As
stated in the Authorisation rules, if you do so, you will forfeit your authorisation and NO refund will be available.

Failure to attend the AMC CAT MCQ examination will forfeit your authorisation and no refund will be available.

Visa Applications

Please ensure that you allow enough time for the processing of your Visa application in order to be able to sit the selected AMC MCQ
examination event at your chosen venue. If your Visa application is refused or delayed by the Embassy/Immigration Department,
please contact Pearson VUE or use the Pearson VUE online scheduling system to transfer to another examination date available in
your authorisation, or to withdraw before the AMC CAT MCQ examination event closing date. To view AMC CAT MCQ examination

Conduct of Candidates and Examination Rules

Candidates must read the Conduct of candidates and the Candidate Examination Rules document (http://www.amc.org.au/index.php/
ass/catex/mcq-rules) PRIOR to entering the AMC CAT MCQ examination venue.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time and are refused admission, you have consumed your
authorisation and will have to re-apply through the AMC.

Candidates preparing for the AMC CAT MCQ examination should familiarise themselves with the following:
