I hope this letter finds you well. I, Leonor P. Gualter, am writing to formally acknowledge my
awareness of the expenses and express my full agreement with the financial commitments
required for the successful completion of the proposed research project of my son, John Lexter
P. Gualter,, a 5th Year BS Mechanical Engineering student of Batangas State University –
The National Engineering University, Alangilan Campus.

He is currently enrolled in ME 427 – ME Project Study 2 wherein their research project

involves the fabrication of a machine for their proposed research entitled “Design and
Development of Variable Speed Hammermill for Paper Production Utilizing Waste Cacao
Shells.”

For the fabrication and expenses of their machine, I have been informed that their contractor is
Engr. Russell Princena from Princena's Machine Shop located at 3rd St. Villa Antonio Subd.
Phase 1, Brgy. San Gabriel 4000 San Pablo City Laguna, wherein the total expenses for the
fabrication of their proposed research project amounts to PHP 91,000 including the professional
fee of the contractor.

I want to assure the department and their course instructor that I am committed in providing the
necessary financial support for my daughter to cover these expenses for the successful fulfillment
of their research project. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter. I wish
