 I Sleep Under a Quilt

I sleep under a quilt.

It is a neat thing to do.

I go to bed.

I get under the quilt.

I go to sleep.

I dream and dream as I sleep.

I then get up and start my day.

 I Want to Be a Queen

“I want to be a queen,” I said one day.

“You can’t be a real queen,” said my

mother.

“But I want to be a queen,” I said.

“You can be a queen today,” said my

mother.

She got me a balloon and a crown.

I was a queen that one day. It was great.

 My Dog and I Go Fishing

My dog and I go fishing.

It is a fun thing to do.

The odd thing is that my dog always gets

the bigger fish.

I fish and fish but always get a small fish.

He fishes a little bit and gets a big fish.

He thinks it is neat that he is better at

fishing than me.

I work on my work from school at the end

of the day.

When it gets hard, my dad helps me with

it so that I do not quit.

I tell him what I need to do and he helps

me do it.

I get better at my school work with his

help.

I am glad my dad can help me with my

work from school.

 My Mother Has a Garden

My mother has a garden. It is a neat

garden.

In the spring she plants seeds in her

garden.

Soon the seeds are plants.

She helps the plants get bigger and bigger.

We eat the plants when they are big.

It is great to eat food from my mother’s

garden.

 Peg Goes to the Vet

I call my cat Peg. She is a big cat.

We took Peg to the vet last week.

The vet wanted to see if Peg is doing well.

Peg got a shot from the vet.

Peg didn’t seem to think the shot was too bad.
