 What do we find out about Thor in this chapter?

His mum is nice… (We don’t find out much)

 What does Nic find out about the stones?

They’re magical and they can make you time travel.

 Why does the author use short sentences when Nic falls into the strange hole?
Because she can’t breathe, and the author want it to be like she is surprised.

 What happens when they finally snap together?

A big zigzag opens, and Nic falls into it, and she can’t breathe.

 When Nic opens her eyes, where is she? How does she work this out?
She is at Yaratgil, but in the past., where the town used to be. She works this out because of
the hill.

 Who does she meet there? How are they different to her?
Aboriginals. They are black and they wear different clothes.

 Why is it weird that one of the people says, “Hello, welcome” to Nic
They didn’t know how to speak English.

 Just before Nic goes bac into the zigzag of light, she sees another person. Who do you think
