 WHAT IS FRAMING
• Framing is what you chose to be in the photo. It help the viewer to see what
is going on in the photo.
 WHAT IS RULE OF THIRDS AND
WHAT ARE ANCHOR POINTS
• the rule of thirds is a type of guideline to photographers that help them line
up there shot with 2 horizontal lines and 2 vertical lines to create 9 equal
squares.

• Anchor points are the vertical and horizontal lines intersect each other and
can improve the photo and the look of the image.
 WHAT IS SYMMETRICAL BALANCE
• symmetrical balance is where one half of an image is near identical to the
other side
• With this image you can see on the left side we have a third bench and a
bin but on the other side is a big tree, so the symmetrical balance is different.
 WHAT HAVE I LEARNT IN TODAY’S SESSION
• I have learnt what framing and composition are and how to use them in
when taking photos.
• I also learnt what symmetrical balance is and how it is used in images.

I used the polygonal lasso tool to draw around the objects t shirt
then used the hue and saturation to change the colour of the shirt.
MAN THROUGH TORN PAPER

I found an image of a man on

google. Then inserted the torn
paper layer. Into photoshop. I then
pasted the man into photoshop
and I duplicated him.

I then made one of the men black

and white and placed him Infront
of the paper layer.
I had to cut around the torn paper
to see the layer under neath

• Primary research
• Is longer and your do the research yourself and it time a lot of time and
money

• Secondary research
• You pay someone to find the thing you want to do for a lot cheaper than
doing it yourself. It is also a lot quicker because the information is already
there.
