IV. STANDARD QUOTATION TERMS AND CONDITION
Order Confirmation 1. Storage system layout, storage system specification in the
quotation shall be deemed finalized for stock allocation and
material procurement and manufacturing.
2. Quotation is based on normal delivery and installation working
days and subjected to prior sales of ex-stock items and third-
party logistics arrangements.
3. Purchaser to provide with order confirmation, site contact
details, site coordinating personnel, site address and sketch on
site location for delivery of materials.
Site Conditions 1. Quotation is based on ground access level storage system

installation.
2. The site clear and accessible for delivery and unloading of 20
and 40-foot lorry or containers adjacent to rack installation
area.
3. The site is clear of goods, debris and ready for storage system
installation one week prior to material delivery.
4. Free use and availability of power supply and lighting facilities
at storage system installation area.
5. Site conveniences and vehicle parking facilities for installation
crew.
Delivery 1. Purchaser is responsible for the security of all equipment and

materials delivered to site.
2. Purchaser to assigned personnel to sign off for goods received
at site.
Installation 1. Quotation is based on a one-time uninterrupted storage system

installation period under normal working hours and week days.
Any change in the above is subjected to change in contractual
prices to reflect the additional costs incurred.
2. The site is to be accessible for Intramega Global designated
installation crew from 0700 hours to 1830 hours from Monday
to Saturday and unconditional at other times upon request.
3. Free use of available forklift truck at site for material unloading,
movement of materials and other times for installation.
4. Storage system installation area is to be clear of other trades
and other erection activities for uninterrupted and unrestricted
storage system installation.
Termination/Delay 1. Purchaser responsible for costs incurred if Purchaser

terminates contract and any delay in project from the agreed
time schedule.

V. PROJECT MANAGEMENT STANDARDS
SUPPLIER Responsibilities
Construction Labour Construction labour will be recruited from local sources and will
work under the direction and supervision of the Project Manager.
The installation costing is based on current labour rates and
excludes any special site allowances that are sometimes
negotiated with particular builders.
Site Equipment and Intramega Global and suppliers will provide all necessary tools
Facilities and equipment to construct the specified storage and system.
Drawings Copies of drawings issued to the Purchaser for approval will be

stamped ‘APPROVED FOR CONSTRUCTION’ and should be
signed and returned within seven (7) days from date of receipt. If
no comments are received from Intramega Global within fourteen
(14) days then the drawings may be re-issued as ‘APPROVED’.
Drawings may also be issued for other purposes and will be
stamped in accordance with their current status i.e.
‘PROVISIONAL ONLY’.
PURCHASER
Responsibilities
Project Manager The Purchaser undertakes to appoint a Project Officer to whom all
matters relating to the implementation of this project are to be
directed. This position should be bestowed with adequate
authority to ensure decisions affecting the supplier’s adherence to
the specification or program are made effectively and without
delay. All communication in respect of project implementation
and design is to be directed to the Purchaser’s Project Officer in
the first instance.
Approval to Proceed The Purchaser undertakes to provide confirmation of approval to

proceed within two weeks from the date of order confirmation in
order not to delay the manufacturing and project implementation
program to meet scheduled completion dates required.
Fire Protection Intramega Global recommends that purchaser’s Fire Insurance

Underwriters be fully informed of the nature and extent of this
project.
Should there be any additional materials expenditure required as

a result of these discussions, they would be regarded as an extra
to the contract. Please note that unless otherwise specified.
Site Facilities The Purchaser undertakes to provide the following services at no

charge during the periods of construction and commissioning and
at other times on request:
• Unlimited power supply for hand tools.
• Lighting facilities to enable equipment installation, but in

particular, accurate readings by Theodolite and Automatic
Level.
• Conveniences on site.
• Vehicles access for off-loading 20’ and 40’ containers.
• Parking area for Construction Team.
• Security and covered indoor storage or waterproof covering
for materials delivered. Storage facilities provided should be
within 10 meters of actual rack installation area.
• On-site telephone access, if available.
• Free use of forklift truck facilities
Uninterrupted Progress The Purchaser will ensure that wherever installation progress is
dependent upon activities managed directly by the Purchaser or
indirectly through its other contractors or agents, these activities
are strictly controlled to avoid interruption or disruption to the
program. Failure to do so may result in downtime and/or other
costs being added to the contract price.
System Training If deemed necessary, Intramega Global undertakes to provide

operating staff with classroom and field training at the Purchaser’s
premises before final acceptance. The exact extent of training
provided will be established following discussions with the
Purchaser’s operating and service managers, but is expected to
include:
* System overview
* System limitations
* “Do’s” and “Don’ts”
* Safety features
* User maintenance
The media with which the training is to be expressed will be at
Intramega Global discretion, however, it is assumed the
Purchaser will provide normal classroom training facilities.
System Documentation If deemed necessary, Intramega Global undertakes to provide two

(2) complete sets of system documentation as described below
whenever it is appropriate:
• General Arrangement Drawings (as built)
• Equipment Brochures
• Preventative Maintenance Program (if appropriate)
• Manufacturer name and part number of
components
It is intended that in the main these documents will be available at
time of classroom training wherever appropriate.
Site Conditions
Access to the Site The Purchaser shall provide to Intramega Global and its
subcontractors free and unrestricted access to the site between
0800 and 1700 hours from Monday to Saturday inclusive during
the period of construction and at other times on request.

General Terms and
Conditions
Copyright on Drawings All drawings and specifications and other documents prepared by
Intramega Global under the Contract shall remain the property of
Intramega Global and copyright therein is reserved and
accordingly no copies shall be made or extracts taken from any
such documents without the prior written consent of Intramega
Global.
All secret and confidential informations and documentation

supplied or disclosed by either party to this agreement shall both
during and after the completion or termination of this Contract be
kept strictly confidential.
Local Authorities The Purchaser is responsible for obtaining all consents,

permissions and licenses necessary to conform with all status and
orders, regulations, rules, by-laws and any other requirements
which may be imposed by the appropriate authority at the time of
completion of the works pertaining to the construction or
installation of the works in normal working order, and all costs
associated therewith shall be borne by the Purchaser.
Intramega Global may, at the Purchasers request, provide

assistance in the gaining of such permits and consents by the
supplying of drawings, calculations, specific details etc. wherever
appropriate.
Floor Flatness The quotation is based on a maximum shimming of 3mm per

upright column and any additional shimming required due to
poor floor flatness shall be deemed as a variation to the
contract.
Standard & Finish Based on Intramega Global standard design, sizes and finish in
accordance to Intramega Global quality control system.
