My Goals:

Is often said that the key to a great future is having an excellent profession. Due to

this, many people claim that a balance needs to be made. To have a job that’s efficient and fun.

Most of the career choices in demand are nurse practitioner, information security analyst, a

financial manager, and a database administrator (de Bara, 2023). But what about other

professions that are necessary to build up other jobs? Such as teachers, doctors, policeman, and

specially, welders. A career with great handling and opportunity.

Welding is a career that can be lucrative and have a higher pay than most jobs. If

we can take a closer look at our surroundings everything has been put together by some sort of

welding technology. For example, a coffee table, computer parts, cars, metal frames for building,

photo frames, etc. (15 Welding Projects to Make Money from Home, n.d.). Every human object or

special artifact is made by welders. In fact, 6 of every 10 welding, soldering and brazing workers

are found in manufacturing and transportation (Grill, 2019). A lot of opportunity comes with this

career option.

In other words, a welding career is a great start for any income. Even if it’s a

home job, manufacturing, engineering, farming or even in the medical industry. Where 83% of

people with welding jobs are to be found, because of the demand COVID-19 has brought into the

medical sector. Therefore, welding is a great opportunity to enter in a field of work where the

median pay starts from $20.43 and there is a higher chance of finding a job. As of 2019, the

welding and soldering career entry-level started with a high school diploma, and has a large

increase of employment (Grill, 2019). If a person with a high school diploma has a great

opportunity in this field, believe what does a person with a high diploma and vocational diploma

of soldering and welding have?

 As a result, the primary choice of career path is welding. Not only by its demand

and pay, but also by its requirements and opportunities. Everyone with passion and optimism can

do it. It is a career path that can secure a good salary to cover basic human needs. Including

having an affordable car, a house and the necessary to support a family. A goal which is realistic

and considerate for any person. In terms of my personal goals, after I graduate I would like to

have a job, so I can start saving money. Be able to afford a house and a car, have a family and

marry the person that I love.

In brief, welding is known for its high demand. Where a qualified or interested

person its needed to assure the fulfillment of any basic manufacturing for living. Like machines,

cars, tables, and medical equipment. Welding is a career with great handling and opportunity,

where every little detail stands out and is needed. If it wasn’t for welding and soldering, people

couldn’t have a well-built car, functioning computer parts, or even a secure and a great medical

service. For this reason, welding and soldering it is a great career choice for any person and it is

my primarily goal in the future. Because with welding and having a family all my doors are

opened. Working in my dreamjob and being with my family equals me being happy.
