At the end of the lesson, students are expected to:

II. LEARNING CONTENT AND RESOURCES


Topic: Marcotting Citrus
Reference: Farm crop production and agroforestry and internet
Materials: DLP, PowerPoint, Planting materials of citrus, Knife, Sawdust and transparent plastic sheet.
Skills: Listening and performing skills procedure of marcotting citrus.
Strategies: Group participation and performance base output.

III. LEARNING ACTIVITIES


A. Routinary Activities
1. Prayer

3. Checking Attendance
4. Review
 The teacher will have a brief recap about yesterday’s topic about propagation of plants.
5. Motivation
 The teacher will divide the class into three groups. The three groups will play the game four pics-
five words. Each group will be given 5 minutes to analyze what those given items is all about?
B. Development Activities

1. Presentation
 The teacher will introduce the topic
 The teacher will show and explain the planting materials needed.
2. Discussion
 The teacher will define and discuss marcotting
 The teacher will demonstrate the skills procedure in marcotting
 The teacher will appreciate the benefits of marcotting
 The teacher will ask one question and any clarifications to the students based on the topic.
Why do we need marcotting in plants?
3. Feedback
 The teacher will conduct a short review about the topic.
 The students will answer these given questions.
What is marcotting?
How do we appreciate the benefits of marcotting?
Give an example of plants for marcotting.
Why do we need marcotting in plants?
4. Group Activity
 The class will be divided into three groups. Each group will perform and demonstrate the skills
procedure in marcotting citrus. Each group will be given 15 minutes for the performance based
demonstration.

Let all the groups perform and demonstrate the skills procedure in marcotting citrus.
