Task 3: Looking into the future

Topic: Talking about the end of the world in three different timelines.

Aim: To warn people about the risks of cats, technology and bacterias.

Opening: Have you ever thought about the different ways that the world can end?.... We are Angie
Aristizabal, Juan David Giraldo and me, Manuela Castañeda travelers from different apocalyptic
timelines, yeah, we are from the future, even if you don’t believe it, and today we are going to
share with you the causes of the end of our worlds, with the objective that this can save your live.

Ok, as Manu said, I am Angie and to start I have a question for you. Have you ever thought that
your cat would dominate your life, to the point of making the human race disappear? Cats will rule
the world

******We all have a cute and lovely cat at home, and I agree that they all are very sweet, but in
the future, these little kitties will be bad. I'm Angie Aristizabal. in the future, I have a good story to
tell you, so let's go on.

So in the future cats can dominate humans because they will be more intelligent than us and that
is because technology has a significant impact on our lives, so my partner Manuela let’s continue
with her history.*******

I am Manuela and I come from the year 2100, where there will be a bacterial pandemic. As you
know, antibiotics were created years ago in order to avoid bacterial infections, but as the years
passed, people began to misuse them, taking them at times that weren't or ending this and this
was affected in the future. People will die from different bacterial infections and that will lead to
the end of the world.

Various studies were carried out, such as the one carried out by the doctor Juan Ignacio Alos, from
the Getafe University Hospital, where he mentioned that during 2015 there was already a crisis
due to resistance to antibiotics but people were not believers in this and this made my future we
are all dying.

I hope that my visit will help people to understand the proper use of antibiotics and the risk that is
run in the future.

Ok, my name is Juan David, and like Manu and Angie, I am from an apocalyptic future, but in my
case, the end of the world was due to technology, because the humans were too dependents from
this, and due to that they turned very idiots; however, when technology took advantage over
humans it was too late because they weren’t prepared to this.

Even in this time, the humanity does not believe that technology can rebel, although right now an
IA called MDA from google, can think and feel emotions like a human, according to Blake Lemoine,
a software engineer from the company, if this is true, it is a great risk to let that technology
develops conscience, due to the humanity can’t be sure that they will control it at that moment, in
my time they couldn’t.
You can believe that we are crazy people, but we are not, and tell me, do you want to survive? If
your answer is yes, you should think about the things that we said, because, remember everything
that you do, can make the difference for you and for the rest.
