Explain your answer comprehensively.

1. What is Naturalization?
It is an act of making someone who is not a citizen of your country become a citizen and have
the countries’ nationality.

2. How can a Filipino lose his/her citizenship?

It is an act of declaring renunciation, or voluntarily giving up your Philippine citizenship to or
after gaining foreign citizenship. You should be of legal age to execute this.

3. What are your privileges as a Filipino citizen, give atleast 5 and explain how and why?
a. I have the ability to own a property here in my country because I live here, and I have the
right to buy and do what I want to do with that property I just bought.
b. I have the right to live. Everybody, regardless of any country, has the right to live their
life the way they want to. It's your life: you decide what you want to do and nobody
should question it unless it’s affecting the community.
c. I have the freedom to wear what I want to wear, to talk the way I want to talk, to live how
I want to live, etc. Having a choice of your own is a privilege not everybody can have,
and I should be grateful because the country I lived in is a democratic one that supports
and aligns with everybody’s needs and wants.
d. I am one of the many who can preserve the culture of our country to make it up to the
next generation. It is a privilege because you are a part of something that will be
remembered and marveled at by the future generations.
e. I can support our local product and entertainment. Supporting products can make them so
well-known around the world but not only me, but also others, will consume it. As for
entertainment, it is nice to know that your country can do many unique kinds of
entertainment just to satisfy its audience, which is us Filipino citizens.
