PRACTICE PRONUNCIATION
A man ran into a doctor’s office and said “DOCTOR! DOCTOR! You
have to help me! Everywhere I touch my body hurts!”.

The doctor replied: “Show me”.

So the man poked his ankle and screamed in pain. Then, he poked
his knee and yelled OW. He poked his head and screamed again.

He was about to continue when the doctor said, “That’s enough, let
me think this over”.

He thought for about a minute and said “I think I know what your
problem is. You broke your finger”.
The perfect son
A: I have the perfect son.
B: Does he smoke?
A: No, he doesn’t.
B: Does he drink Whiskey?
A: No, he doesn’t.
B: Does he ever come home late?
A: No, he doesn’t.
B: I guess you really do have the perfect son. How old is he?
A: He will be six months old next Wednesday.
I am a powerful English speaker. Every day my
pronunciation is improving. Every day, I am closer to a
perfect American accent. In fact, I love to exaggerate my
American accent. I make my American accent super
strong. Improving my accent is like a game. I pretend
that I am an actor who is playing an American character.
As I copy AJ’s rhythm, I use a loud, strong voice, and I
even use his gestures and facial expressions. I am
excited about my improvement because I get more
respect when people hear my fantastically clear
American accent.
