WHAT IS COPYWRITE LAW?
Copywrite law is a law that protects
writers from having their work
stolen or having their work be
reproduced without citing. The idea
behind this law is to make every
writing original and to give credit
where credit is due. Both the
creator and the reader receive a
reward, one through financial gain
and the other through creative
insight.
Another interesting part about this
law is regardless if the author
published their work, it will be
protected.
On the other hand, unless the work
is physically written out or
published, it is not protected. Ideas
or concepts do not apply to
copywrite. Other creations that
copywrite law does not apply to
would be procedures, systems,
titles, lists and shapes.
When you copywrite your work
you have the right to choose who
reproduces and distributes your
final draft. You can also control
who makes modifications to your
work, including who from the
public can view whatever is
published.

COPYWRITE
You do not need to apply for
a copywrite license, if the
work is produced or
published. Although if you
wanted to you can apply
electronically or paper form.
You will also need your filing
fee and a copy of your work.

FAIR USE LAWS FOR EDUCATORS

Fair use laws allow individuals to
use copy-writed material for
performances, in person teaching,
nonprofit educational institution,
and lawful copy of works. This
means you have purchased the
work and it is being used for
personal measures.
The fair use laws aim to balance
between copyright protection and
what is best used for the public.
When using copyrighted work, we
have to take into consideration the
purpose of the material, the
amount of the work we are using
and recognizing the work of the
author who published the material.
Most individuals can use products
of an author as long as it is public
domain and cite the information of
the author.

How does copyright law and fair use affect one another?
Copywrite law protects authors of original work from the public stealing their ideas and passing it off as their
own. We as the public are still allowed to view the work that is produced by the author but we cannot steal
their work. We are allowed to use parts of the work that is produced especially in the education setting.
