Discipleship

So last last week ang pinag usapan natin ay tungkol sa Church!

So, if you remember there are 4 benefits of going to the church
1. Friendship
2. Fellowship
3. Worship
4. Discipleship
situation
“If you were the doctor who discovered the miracle cure for cancer, wouldn’t you want
everyone to know about your discovery?”
At the same time, ganon din ang discipleship.
You now know the miracle cure for something more deadly than cancer. And what is
more deadly than cancer? SIN. KASALANAN.
Now if I ask you what is the miracle cure for Sin?
The miracle cure for sin is none other than? Jesus Christ.
And we all know that the wages of sin is death or hell right?
Ulitin natin, kung mamamatay kayo saan kayo pupunta?
Sa heaven.
Bakit kayo sa heaven pupunta?
It’s when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

2 things:
1. Your testimony
2. The gospel

Your testimony
Remember that we are called to be God’s witnesses.
And in being God’s witness, you are ought to tell the truth about what He has done for,
in, and through you.
Again, the only way we can be a witness is through the power of the Holy Spirit –
empowers us to be boldly proclaim our testimony and the gospel.
Now, there are 3 parts in sharing your testimony:
1. Your life before Christ
-Answers the questions:
What beliefs, actions, and sins characterized your old life?
What were their consequences?
2. Meeting Christ
-Answers the questions:
What truths and circumstances brough you to the point of making Jesus your Lord?
How did you respond?
3. Your life since Jesus became your Lord and Saviour
-Answers the questions:
How did God’s love and leadership change your life?
How is He continually changing you?

The gospel
-the power of God for the salvation of all who believe.
It is the reason we engage culture and community, be a witness, and share our
testimony.
Romans 1:16

16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to
everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

maliligtas at ngayong ligtas kana, ipagdadamot moba? Syempre hindi.
Now the question is how do you share the gospel?

Romans 6:23
23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ
Jesus our Lord.

Nagsimula siya sa tatlong points which is:
1. God loves you.
2. Yet we have sinned.
3. But God loves you still.
you were born, mahal ka na niya. Then you cite relevant verses about God’s love.

Yet we have sinned – lahat tayo nag kakasala, we all fall short of God’s glory. At every
time na nag kakasala tayo we experience death.
Spiritual death.
tayo mapupunta? Sa impyerno.
Sinasabi mo ito kasi mahal mo sila.
But God loves you still – explain mo yung kadugtong nung verse
iisa niyang anak na si Jesus Christ to die for our sins.
Panginoon.
Reflection:
I want you to share your testimony and that includes your life before Christ, meeting
Christ and after receiving Christ.
