Why are Minitube extenders safer?

Boar semen extenders are not all the same. The uniform and outstanding
quality of the extender mixtures from Minitube is based on stringent quality
control starting with each batch of raw material and ending with the final
mixture. Before a given batch of extender can be approved for sale, chemical
and physical tests are performed to prove purity of the components. In
addition, independent tests with spermatozoa are done in the German
reference laboratory to demonstrate the preservation properties of the final
mixture.
We use GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)-certified quality control standards

Extender for long-term storage of boar semen
The synthetic conservation medium supports the sperm cells over a long period and protects against the influences
of suboptimal transport and storage conditions. Besides a potent buffer system and an effective combination of
antioxidants, Androstar® Plus contains an efficient and well-proven membrane stabiliser. Thus, the sperm cells are
less susceptible to damages due to suboptimal and volatile storage temperatures. The temperature limit tolerated
by the sperm cells extends to the range of +10°C to +25°C.

Androstar® Premium long-term extender for boar semen is based on an innovative combination of protective
molecules. Specialised antioxidants are combined with a variety of highly effective membrane protecting agents.
