Autobiography of Putu Rama Dwipayana

My name is Putu Rama Dwipyana. Other people used to call me 'Rama'. I was born on
January 18,2003 in Rama Murti. I live with my mother, father and one younger brother. My
mother's name is I Made Suriani, my father's name is Ketut Sutama and my younger brother is I
Made Adi Mulya Putra. I live on Jalan Sanjaya No. 1, Rama Murti, Kec. As white as Raman,
Kab. Central Lampung, Province. Lampung. I am a quiet and shy person who doesn't like to talk
a lot so people say I'm an introvert.

I have been interested in agriculture since I was a child. In the past when I was little I was
often taken to the fields with my father, at that time my father invited me to sow rice, then I
asked my father at that time what was our purpose for sowing rice even though rice seeds can be
planted directly too. Then my father answered by sowing the rice first before planting it can
minimize plant death due to plants that are not ready for the condition of the land rather than
directly planting rice seeds. Hearing my father's explanation, I became interested in studying
agriculture from then on. In the past, every time my father went to the rice fields, I always
accompanied him because I wanted to know how to plant rice properly, care for rice plants, and
harvest. It was quite interesting for me to study because I like the field of agriculture.

When I was in junior high school, I attended SMP N 1 Seputih Raman. When I was in
middle school, I was an outstanding student. When I was in middle school, I got 2nd place in
general when I was in 8th grade in junior high school and 3rd general champion when I was in
9th grade in middle school. And I also won 3rd place in the district-level Mathematics Olympiad.
After graduating from junior high school, I went to high school at N 1 Kota Gajah. When I was
in high school, I also took part in the Math Olympiad competition but unfortunately when I didn't
win yet I felt proud because I was trusted to represent SMA N 1 Kota Gjah in the Mathematics
Olympiad competition at the district level.

And now I am a student at Stiper Dharma University. I studied at Stiper Dharma Wacana
majoring in Agrotechnology. The reason I entered college at Stiper Darma Wacana was to know
more about agricultural science, such as how to cultivate land properly so that plants can thrive,
how to care for plants in order to get maximum results. I hope that later I can apply this
agricultural science after graduating from the Stiper Dharma Wacana campus. In the first
semester I got a pretty good GPA of 3.75 even though it's not the lowest but I already feel proud
of this achievement and this semester I will try to maintain it and to tie it up again.

I have a dream to become an agricultural consultant. I want to pass on the knowledge that
I have learned which will be able to direct, foster, and conduct outreach to farmers so that
farmers can maximize their yields with modern agricultural science. Besides that, I also want to
continue my S2 Pertain at Lmapung University by applying for a scholarship.
But this dream seems difficult to reach because I come from an underprivileged family.
My father is a farmer who only works on other people's fields and my mother is a housewife. It
was difficult for me to enter university without a scholarship, but I was always optimistic and
worked hard to achieve it. Before I entered Stiper Dharma, I once tried to register for a
scholarship at the University of Lampung through the SNMPTN route, majoring in
Agrotechnology because I was an eligible student, but when the SNMPT was announced, I
failed. Since then I was desperate and stopped for a year not to go to college before finally my
uncle advised me to try the scholarship test at Stiper Dharma Wacana.

And I also took the scholarship test at Dharma Wacana and unexpectedly when it was
announced that I passed the scholarship and I felt very happy because I was able to pass the
scholarship at Stiper Dharma Wacana. By qualifying for the scholarship, I will study hard so I
can show my best. From this I now believe confident and hard work will definitely get
satisfactory results.
