Dear Ms. Jackson,

When I heard that you were looking for waitstaff at Sitka Steak House, I knew
I had to reach out as soon as possible. My family has been dining at Sitka
Steak House on special occasions for as long as I can remember, and you always
live up to your promise of “Good Times, Great Meat.”

For the last three years, I have spent Sunday evenings volunteering at the
Sitka Soup Kitchen, where I was recently promoted into a Volunteer Coordinator
role. Now I spend my shifts ensuring that our team of volunteers is able to
provide warm food and a friendly smile to around 100 hungry Sitkans in under
60 minutes. During these Sundays, I’ve learned to provide service that’s both
fast and hospitable.

I would love to apply what I’ve learned at the soup kitchen to Sitka Steak
House, and to have the chance to learn from your excellent team of servers.
