What is tala, tala (Sanskrit: “clap”) in the music of India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, a metric
cycle with a specific number of beats—from 3 to 128—that recur in the same pattern
throughout a musical performance but the most commonly used are only 30. Each tala has a set
number of beats called matras consisting of 3 up to 108 beats. However , the most common
talas are from six up to sixteen matras. The tala with sixteen beats is called teental, which is
divided into 4+4+4+4. First beat of every cycle is called sam. There are 3 tempi used in Indian
classical music. 1. Vilambita (slow) where there are 60 Bpm; 2. Madhya (moderate) where there
are 120 Bpm; 3. Druta (fast) where there are 240 Bpm.
Sculptures

were figurines made of stone and clay, which were statues of humans, dieties, and animals.
