HOW CAN CUSTOMER SERVICE RESHAPE A BUSINESS

Customer Service as we all know is an assistance provided by a company to


those people who buy or use its products and services. The perception of
success of such interactions is dependent on employees “who can adjust
themselves to the personality of the guest”. Achieving customer satisfaction
and customer experience is a key business goal these days, through customer
service.

Achieving customer satisfaction help measure how happy customers are with
the business products, services and capabilities, which determines how to best
improve products and services. Additionally a positive customer experience
promotes loyalty, retains customers and encourage brand advocacy.

In Conclusion Customer service does more than simply provide a means to


drive sales in a business, a good customer service makes a happy customer,
keeps a happy customer and creates a long lasting customer loyalty which
reshape a business.

ADAPTING TO THE NEW NORMAL: THE LATESET PANDEMIC (COVID-19)

It came as a surprise to many that life as we all knew it has changed. The covid-19 pandemic has created
uncertainty in our work and family lives, and with changes occurring daily, it can be difficult to adjust to
this “new normal”.

From the use of hand sanitizers, practicing good hand hygiene, use of face masks, to physical and social
distancing which have become our daily routines, with a rapidly changing environment a greater need
for us to be agile and adaptive is needed.

In conclusion this is challenging and even more challenging to those of us who don’t like change at the
best of times. Being overwhelmed like we aren’t in control of our own lives can lead to frustration, but if
we can follow the new guidelines given by experts on covid-19. We should be able to adapt to the “new
normal”

My Working Experience (how it has shaped me)

I am writing this according to my work experience. I started working as a teenager and over the years
with the ups and down of working in an environment such as ours (Nigeria) from transportation to
expectations, accountability and productivity. The experience gained has made me more disciplined.

I started working due to necessity, as work is a very important part of human lives, we also have our
personal needs, with that as the basics of me working, over time I learnt the work ethics, work
relationships with colleagues, because your performance and productivity is not solely on you it’s a team
effort. Additionally I also gained valuable insights on customer service and communication but also
general work place etiquette.

In conclusion my working experience over the years has shaped me and changed my perspective, I
believe more in hard work, performance, team work, positivity, productivity and accomplishments.
