PRACTICE 1

I was born in a nuclear family. My family consist of four people, my

father, my mother, my sister and I. We live in a house in densely
populated area of Binh Duong province. It’s a stuffy house with fully-
furnished and very convenient. My parents run a small family business at
home. My mother has always been a good model for me to follow. She’s
kind, patient and understanding. She also gets on with every one in my
neighborhood. I think she brought up me and my sibling well, she was
quite strict but always fair. Despite the fact that I am the youngest child in
the family, she never pampers me. My sister is a senior at a college in Ho
Chi Minh City. She is a well-dressed woman. She’s quite tall and has
long brown hair. My sister has a heart of gold. She often participates in
campaigns about helping orphans in my hometown. My family always
gather around to enjoying meals together after a day. Sometimes, we eat
out in restaurant on the weekend it is a way for us relax after a hectic
week . My family is quite noise and it’s really annoying. However, they
always been someone who I can turn to for advice and encourage me
unconditionally. Everyone in my family is really always care about each
other. That’s the reason why I love them a lot.

1, Tell me about your family?

2, What does your father/mother do?

My mother runs a small family business at home. About my father, He
has retired for 3 years. So at the moment, my fathers stay at home and
take care of my family while mother goes out to work, sometime he also
help my mom in her work.

3, How much time do you spend with your family?

For now, I put the family first so all off my free time spend for my
family. My family always gather around to enjoying meals together after
a day. Sometimes, we eat out in restaurant on the weekend it is a way for
us relax after a hectic week .

4, Who do you like the most in the family?

5, Do you prefer to go out with your family or with your friend?

Beside gathering with my friends, spending time with family makes me
feel more meaningful. I can tell everyone in my family about my many
special stories, shopping without worrying about the money and help all
members relieve stress after hectic days.
