Relations in your family

Remember to say :

- If your family is big or not

- How your get along with your parents, brothers or sisters
- If you like to spend free time with your family

I’m going to give a talk about relations in my family. To begin with, I come not from a big family.
There are four of us – my mother, my father, my junior brother and me. I have also got
grandparents but they live separately.

My family is very united. We are on good terms and trust each other. I can always share my
problems with my parents and I’m sure to be given a good advice. We like hosting friends and they
come to visit us very gladly. I always help my parents to do the shopping and some household
chores. In summer I help my father to repair our dacha. At the same time my parents provide me
with some independence – they never force me to talk to them and what is more, share my secrets.

My junior brother is six, he goes to the kindergarten. Sometimes he falls ill and I have to miss school
and stay with him as my parents have full-time working day. We like to spend time together. We
usually watch cartoons or play computer games.

There are some traditions in my family. We spend all holidays together. We go to the amusement
park or to the cinema. On Sundays we tend to visit my grandparents and have dinner together.

I really appreciate the fact that my family is so united

That’s all I wanted to say.
