environment for all our delegates and participants.

PULSE, has continued to rule the hearts of medical

undergraduates for decades. We invite you to join us in
this celebration and create memories that will last a
lifetime!

 ABOUT AIIMS, DELHI

“AIIMS, New Delhi is the institution that needs no introduction.”

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi was established
by the AIIMS Act, 1956, which put it under the Ministry of Health
and Family Welfare as an autonomously operating body.

“It has been one of my cherished dreams that for postgraduate

study and the maintenance of high standards of medical
education in our country, we should have an institute of this
nature which would enable our young men and women to have
their post graduate education in their own country.”
This was what the then Union Health Minister Rajkumari Amrit
Kaur Ji said about AIIMS, describing its importance in a country
where the quality of medical training was far below that of the
developed world.

Since its advent, AIIMS has been the leader in medical education
in India, securing Rank 1 in NIRF, India Today, The Week, and
Outlook rankings amongst medical colleges consecutively for
many years. AIIMS has also been at the frontline of India’s battle
against COVID-19 by being the institute the whole nation has
looked upto for issuing guidelines, predicting trends, and
providing vaccinations.

AIIMS is an institute renowned worldwide for its state-of-
the-art infrastructure, world-class medical capabilities, and
breathtaking research work.

We understand the need to be great in the fun-domain too!

Thus was born PULSE, a brainchild of AIIMS UG; South Asia's

largest medical fiesta! Starting in 1973, PULSE was
supposed to be an all-India sports meet for medical
students across the country.

But soon, ideas prompted, only to add on year after year to

take Pulse to its current magnificence!

More than 450 colleges come along to make this event, a

piece of art; as thousands of feet tap through the same
beat!

7 days and 7 nights pass like 7 minutes and 7 seconds, like an

awesome roller coaster ride, soaked in an adrenaline rush!

experience up close and at its best.

We the "ACCOMMODATION DEPARTMENT" are excited

to welcome you all to this new and chaotic world where
you are going to enjoy a fest like never before!

1) Location: We live in the heart of the city. The

whole of Delhi is easily accessible from here. Our
area has the best connectivity in terms of transport,
network connectivity etc. Two metro stations (AIIMS
and South Extension) are within walking distance
for exploring Delhi. AlIMS emergency is a few steps
away in case of any health emergency.

2) Amenities: All the essential amenities will be provided

in the rooms. Rooms will be well equipped with
mattresses, fans, tube lights etc. 24×7 water supply and
electricity supply will be ensured. Cleanliness is our
priority. An emergency contact number will be provided if
you face any difficulty during your stay. Safety is our
highest priority so every hostel will have guards available
24x7. Daily feedback will be taken to provide you with
better service with each passing day.

3) Pocket Friendly: We will provide rooms on per day
and per head basis. Prices will be well within affordable
limits. Available group stay. You will have the option to
choose from them. Pre-registration forms with further
details will be provided.

hassle of travel or delay due to any other reason. With

far behind us the requirements are quite minimal. We just
need you carry your college id and BR card at all times
during the event.

What is a BR card?

The Basic registration card or BR card is a mandatory entry ticket to

PULSE 2023, which needs to be worn around the neck all the time during
PULSE.

How to get a BR card?

As soon as you enter the AIIMS premises, your first place to visit would be
the CR desk (Central Reception). Before reaching the CR desk, you are
required to purchase the BR card on the official app of PULSE. That's
where you would be granted any required information and get your BR
card issued. It grants you access to the PULSE-arena.

a) You will not be allowed to roam around the AlIMS campus without the
BR card. It's an identity for every PULSONIAN.

b) BR allows you to SPECTATE any event of PULSE except star nights.

(Note: In limited-seating events, entry would be done on the basis of
‘first- come-first- serve’, so do come early for these events )

c) For PARTICIPATING in events, however, you must pay the requisite fare.

d) Please Note: There are no replacements for a lost BR card, so do not

lose it!

After BR, you can purchase entries for your desired events,
accommodation and for Star Nights as well.

 RULES AND
REGULATIONS
1) It is mandatory to get the BASIC REGISTRATION (BR CARD)
as soon as you enter AIIMS premises, at the Central Reception
(CR desk).

2) Guests are required to maintain a socially sound decorum by

not engaging in verbal fights, physical violence, disrespectful
behaviour, disregarding the PULSE coordination team or
security, failing which, you will be asked to evacuate the
premises, with immediate effect.

3) The BR card grants you access to all informal events which

are free, and for which no prior registration is required.

4) Please note that due to limited seating capacity or over-

influx of audience in free entry events, you might not get a
seat to spectate some performances. It would work on the
principle of ‘first - come - first - serve', so please comply and
don't get into an argument with the security.

5) Throughout the 7 day - 7 night fest, drinking, smoking, and

littering in the open would be banned, and people found in
violation will be fined for the same.

6) No non-AIIMSonian is allowed beyond the "AIIMSonian

barricade" placed infront of the stage during performance.
