1. UNIVERSITALY: ONLINE PRE-ENROLMENT PROCEDURES
For the a.y. 2022-2023, PRE-ENROLMENT PROCEDURES FOR ALL VISA-SEEKING
STUDENTS will be requested to applicants ADMITTED TO ALL IED COURSES.
Applicants are requested to submit their

pre-enrolment applications ONLINE
on the UNIVERSITALY portal (https://www.universitaly.it).
The subsequent phase of visa application will be completed

in person at the relevant Italian diplomatic-consular Missions.
To this purpose students must:

Consulate.
In case you do not have one,

order to fill out this compulsory

official code and has no other
purpose than Universitaly

NOTA BENE: The pre-enrolment on

Universitaly is a COMPULSORY STEP
to be enabled to apply for the STUDY
VISA. However, IED admission and
enrolment procedures and the
Ministerial pre-enrolment and visa
application are COMPLETELY
DISTINCT PROCESSES.
The documents uploaded on

Universitaly do not replace in any
way the ones to be uploaded on IED
admission portal and/or to be
submitted to IED Matriculation
Desk.
If you have any updated documents

not previously provided to IED,
remember to upload them also
in your private area on IED
Admission Portal or to send them
to your advisor.

4. PRE-ENROLMENT STEP C
If you have not yet been awarded your diploma or degree, you can upload your transcripts or a provisional
certificate.
This requirement applies to you ONLY if you are appling for an undergraduate course and it is required to
enter university in your country: e.g.Gaokaoand Yikaofor China, YKS for Turkey, Vestibular/Enemfor Brazil,
Selectividad/Pau/Ebaufor Spainetc. Haven’t you taken it yet? Do not worry. Proceed with the pre-enrolment
application, as long as you provide it to IED for matriculation.
For some educational systems thereare additional requirements to enter Italian Higher Education (e.g. 3 AP
examsfor the US System). Do you have any doubts? Check out IED Admission Procedure for Student Holding a

These documents are not strictly mandatory for pre-enrolment on Universitaly.
