The following is the information regarding PM Kit replacement and its significance
on maintaining proper operation of sterilizer.
With this information we hope that our end-users will be aware when the machine
is already subject for PM Kit replacement. Below is the information of PM Kit

Preventive Maintenance
For proper operation of the pump, the oil must be changed or refilled when it looks dirty or if the oil level is
not adequate. It is essential that the pump oil must be maintained clean with adequate amount at all times.
Vacuum pump oil should be periodically performed, otherwise vacuum capacity will be declined and it could
shorten life-time of the pump.
Oil plug O-rings should be replaced along with vacuum pump oil since it is damaged during vacuum pump oil
change. It is required to be replaced in order to prevent leakage of oil from oil -drain outlet and oil-fill inlet on
the pump.
Preventive Maintenance
3. NW40 Center Ring
The Center Ring keeps a good seal on Injection Heater assembly.
Damaged rings will hinder optimized evacuation process. To prevent such errors regular replacement of the
Center ring will be a good precautionary measure.
5. Cracking Plasma
Cracking plasma cracks hydrogen peroxide remaining after the sterilization process, breaking chemical
bonding of hydrogen peroxide completely into water and oxygen.
Cracking plasma should be periodically performed, otherwise cracking plasma generation or failure of
detecting plasma could cause plasma error during sterilization cycles
6. Hepa Filter
The Hepa Filter filters the air going into the chamber. The air should be clean and free from dirt. This is also
essential for a successful sterilization.
Hepa Filter should be periodically performed, otherwise it could cause unpurified air entering the sterilization
chamber and it affects the sterilization efficacy.
PM Kit Procedure
1. Oil-fill plug
2. Oil-level mark maximum
3. Oil-level mark minimum Prepare funnel, empty bottle, glove,
4. Oil-drain plug allen key with 8mm and some paper
PM Kit Procedure
1. Unscrew oil-drain plug with Allen key on the main pump body.
2. When oil is being drained from the main pump body, the empty
bottle & funnel should already be prepared to receive the oil.
*Caution*
While unscrewing oil-drain plug, be careful not to choke the funnel hole with the
drain plug. If funnel hole is blocked, the oil will overflow out of the funnel.
PM Kit Procedure
3. After draining the oil, replace the O-ring for the drain plug screw and tighten it.
4. Next is to drain the oil on the Exhaust Filter
5. Unscrew Exhaust pump drain plug to drain the oil.
PM Kit Procedure
6. When oil is being drained from the main pump body, the empty bottle &
funnel should already be prepared to receive the oil.
7. Likewise after draining, replace the O-ring for the drain plug and tighten it.
PM Kit Procedure
8. To put the new oil into the pump main body, unscrew oil fill plug with
Allen key.
9. Put new oil into the main pump body with funnel.
PM Kit Procedure
10. Again replace the O-ring for the Oil fill plug and tighten the
screw with the Allen key on the main pump body.
