Tuition & Fees for 28-Unit Master’s of Science Programs

This information is for engineering/computer science Master of Science programs

offered by the USC Viterbi School of Engineering requiring the successful completion of
a minimum of 28 units of graduate engineering coursework.

Tuition and fees for the academic year 2023-2024 (2024-25 not yet available) are as
follows:

Per Unit Graduate Engineering Tuition $2,424

Mandatory Fees (approximate)* $744 per semester
Health Insurance for 2023-24 (2024-25 Fall Semester – $948
rates not yet available) Spring/Summer Semester – $1,765

* These fees are: student health service, programming, transportation and Topping Student Aid
Fund. There is also a one-time $50 orientation fee charged in the student’s first semester.

Estimated Housing for Academic Year 2023-2024 is $12,600* (2024-25 rates not yet
available)
