How to use stat mode on CASIO calculators

Step 1: Enter statistics mode

Window shows:

To turn frequency column on/off:

Press down in the

arrow pad

OR

Step 2: Enter data into table

Use the arrow pad to navigate, = to enter the numbers and

DEL to delete any incorrect scores
Step 3: Find the measures (and other things)!
MAKE SURE YOUR SCREEN HAS BEEN CLEARED WITH [AC] BEFORE CONTINUING

This gives the stat menu:

[2] returns the data table
[4] gives a table with:
• [1 : n] = number of scores
• [2 : x̄] = mean
[5] on newer calculators gives a table with:
• [1 : minX] = lowest score
• [2: maxX] = highest score
• [4 : med] = median

FINAL STEP, press [=]!

Final: Clear memory or clear mode

OR
OR

[1] clears the mode (back to normal mode)

[2] clears the memory (i.e. clears the table)
[3] clears EVERYTHING, mode and memory
