B. Design Brief:
Level 3 hospitals are considered tertiary hospitals and are usually the trauma hospitals in your that
can provide all services. They are staffed with one nurse per patient and usually with a doctor present in
the unit 24 hours per day. Patients requiring two or more organ support (or needing mechanical ventilation
alone) are admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of Level 3 hospitals.
