Online gambling has now become an 'opium' that is endangering this nation's young generation. In fact,
the Indonesian nation is now said to be in an online gambling emergency.

Many people hope to get something more amidst limitations, especially since their economic condition
is still unstable after the Covid-19 pandemic. So, the money that should have been allocated to buy food
and milk for children, 'had' to be transferred to a gambling account.

However, what is more disturbing is the fact that many of the people involved in gambling, especially
online gambling, are housewives. In fact, quite a few children who are still in elementary school (SD) also
play online gambling.

That way, we create a digital era that is safer and more beneficial for Indonesia, especially the younger
generation. Indeed, all parties and elements of society must work together to eradicate online gambling.

Because many of our children are victims. We must save Indonesia's young generation from this haram
practice.

On the other hand, we must also appreciate the National Police for taking quick and firm action in
eradicating online gambling. The perpetrators are increasingly bold and openly promoting online
gambling via social media, but the authorities are also much bolder in taking action.
